Abstract

k Masalah yang dihadapi saat ini, terkait dengan keberadaan kurikulum 2013, adalah masih kurangnya pemahaman para pelaksana pendidikan yaitu guru-guru dalam memahami kurikulum 2013 khususnya yang berkaitan dengan penilaian atau asesmen. Secara spesifik adalah tentang kemampuan penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis High order thinking skills (HOTS). Hal ini terlihat dalam kegiatan PPL mahasiswa di sekolah dasar dan pada kegiatan sertifikasi guru melalui program PPG (Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru). Para guru maupun calon guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun instrumen berbasis HOTS.Pentingnya instrumen asesmen/penilaian dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran merupakan hal yang perlu mendapat perhatian serius, mengingat penilaian adalah bagian integral yang tidak terpisah dari proses pembelajaran.Dalam merancang instrumen asesmen yang dapat mendorong peserta didik untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis bukanlah hal yang mudah. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa 55 % soal-soal tes yang digunakan oleh 36 guru yang mengajar matematika, IPA, IPS, bahasa, pada tingkat sekolah dasar sampai menengah, sebagian besar guru tidak merancang instrumen yang mengukur higher order thinking skills. Instrumen yang digunakan cenderung hanya mengukur kemampuan mengingat fakta. (Burns, 1985, Boyd, 2008). Higher order thinking skills adalah keterampilan siswa pada tingkatan 4 (analyzing) sampai 6 (creating) pada Taxonomy Bloom ranah kognitif. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dalam mengajar, diperlukan pelatihan dalam merancang instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan berupa penyampaian materi, dengan menggunakan ceramah, tanya jawab, penugasan diskusi, praktik merancang instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS.Pelatihan ini melibatkan guru di SDN Kecamatan yang berjumlah 30 guru dan dilaksanakan selama dua hari. Hari pertama penyampaian materi penilaian serta contoh-contoh instrumen dan hari kedua praktek penyusunan instrumen penilain berbasis HOTS. Para peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan dapat dilihat dari jumlah kehadiran yang 100% hadir. Kemampuan peserta merancang instrumen asesmen berbasis HOTS skor reratanya minimal 75. Kata Kunci: Penilaian, Instrumen, High order thinking skillsABSTRACTThe problem faced today, related to the existence of the 2013 curriculum, is that there is still a lack of understanding of education implementers, namely teachers in understanding the 2013 curriculum, especially those related to assessment or assessment. Specifically, it is about the ability to prepare assessment instruments based on High order thinking skills (HOTS). This can be seen in the PPL activities of students in elementary schools and in teacher certification activities through the PPG (Teacher Professional Education Program) program. Teachers and prospective teachers still have difficulties in compiling HOTS-based instruments.The importance of assessment instruments / assessment activities in the learning process activities is a matter that needs serious attention, considering that assessment is an integral part that is not separate from the learning process. In designing assessment instruments that can encourage students to develop critical thinking skills is not easy. The results of the study found that 55% of the test questions used by 36 teachers who taught mathematics, science, social studies, language, at the elementary to secondary level, most teachers did not design instruments that measure higher order thinking skills. The instruments used tend to only measure the ability to remember facts. (Burns, 1985, Boyd, 2008). Higher order thinking skills are the skills of students at level 4 (analyzing) to 6 (creating) in the Taxonomy Bloom cognitive domain. In an effort to improve teacher professionalism in teaching, training is needed in designing HOTS-based assessment instruments. The method used in the training was in the form of delivering material, using lectures, question and answer, discussion assignments, and the practice of designing HOTS-based assessment instruments.This training involved teachers in the SDN Kecamatan, totaling 30 teachers and was held for two days. The first day of presentation of assessment material and examples of instruments and the second day of the practice of preparing HOTS-based assessment instruments. The participants were very enthusiastic in participating in the training can be seen from the number of attendance which was 100% present. The ability of participans to design HOTS based assessment instruments the average score is at least 75.Keywords: Assessment, Instruments, High order thinking skills

Abstract

This reseach aims to: (1) describe Thematic Learning in Distance Learning (e-learning) (2) describe the school's efforts to optimize Thematic Learning in Distance Learning (e-learning). This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research subjects involved were the principal, teachers, students, and parents of grade V SD N Tegalayu No. 96 Surakarta. Research data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The validity of the research data used triangulation techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. As a result, Thematic Learning in Distance Learning goes according to schedule. Five days a week. The implementation of learning includes the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The conclusions of the researchers are: (1) the implementation of thematic learning in distance learning at SD N Tegalayu No.96 Surakarta has run according to the schedule and (2) Efforts in implementing Thematic Learning in Distance Learning involve the efforts of the principal, teachers, students, and parents of students in improving learning optimization.Keywords: thematic learning, e-learning, distance education

Abstract

Utilization of Augmented Reality (AR) as interactive learning media can stimulate students' mindset in thinking critical because AR can visualize abstract concepts for understanding and the structure of an object model. This allows AR as a more effective medium. Augmented reality applications show good potential in giving students more active, effective and meaningful learning. Augmented Reality (AR) can be defined as a technology that can combine virtual objects two-dimensional or three-dimensional into a real environment and then bring it or project it in real time. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of students to appreciate the results of fine art. It also aims to examine user acceptance of augmented reality applications within an art learning at primary teacher education program, from students’ opinion when AR is used in class. The research design was descriptive. The study was conducted with 30 primary school teacher education students in Universitas Sebelas Maret. Data collection techniques used in this study are portfolio and questionnaire. The results show that (1) 75% ability of students’ appreciation in appreciating art works is very good, especially in the stages of analysis and assessment, (2) Students’ opinion about AR media 87.66% said it was beneficial for art learning, because AR can motivate to produce creative works of art. These results indicate that the application of AR as an interactive learning media can improve the ability to appreciate fine art

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the students’ ability to solve math word problem in fifth grade of State Elementary School of Tegalsari No.60 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018 through Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS-Heuristic) learning. The data collecting techniques were in-depth interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data validating technique were content validity, technique triangulation, and source triangulation. Data analyzing were descriptive comparative analysis and interactive analysis. The results of this class action research showed the achievement of the ability to solve math word problem at fifth-grade students of Tegalsari State Elementary School No.60 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018. The classical completeness of students’ score to solve math word problem has increased, from 33,33% in pretest to 57,14% in cycle I, and 85,71% in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is the use of LAPS-Heuristic learning can improve the students’ ability to solve math word problem in fifth-grade of State Elementary School of Tegalsari No.60 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

This purpose of this research was 1) know wheter there was a correlattion between the reading interest and the competency of reading comprehension; 2) knowing whether there was a correlattion between the diction mastery and the competency of reading comprehension; 3) knowing whether there was a correlation between both the reading interest and the diction mastery toghether with the competency of reading comprehension.The research was a quantitative survey correlational study. The population of this research was all the students of government elementary school at grade 4TH in kartasura for about 39 schools. The sample of this research was taken with simple random sampling technique.  Five elementary schools was used as the sample by taking the whole students of grade 4 of each government elementary school with the total amount of the students is 110 students.The data was collected through the test instrument in the form of objective choice for the variable of the competency of reading comprehension and also the diction mastery. It was also collected through the questionnaire for the variable of reading interest given to the students. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between the reading interest and the competency of reading comprehension ry1 (0.60034), the coefficient of the correlation was tested with the t test, the result tcount (7.8011)> ttable (1.9822) showing a significant correlation between the diction mastery and the competency of reading comprehension ry2 (0.794),, the coefficient of the correlation was tested with the t test, the result tcount (13.5745)> ttable (1.982)showing a significant correlation  between both  the reading interest and the diction mastery with the competency of reading comprehension ry12 for about 0,815. The coefficient of significance with the F test obtained Fcount = 106.00131 real level á = 0.05, with df =107 obtained Ftable = 3.081 then Fcount > Ftable.

Abstract

This research servers as an effort to improve student’s reading comprehension skills through the application of the Cooperative Script model for student 5th grade of elementary school student at Surakarta on 2019/2020 school year. The subject of this study were 19 students from 5th grade of elementary school and class teacher. This research is a classroom action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods used are observation, test, interview, and document analysist. This study uses descriptive data analysist with a qualitative approach that describe data obtained by researchers from the result of the implementation of the action. This study found success in increasing the average value from cycle I to cycle II, the average value of cycle I was 71,73 with classical completeness 36,84%, increasing in cycle II that was 85,18 with classical completeness 89,47%. The output of this study indicated that by applying the Cooperative Script learning model can improve student’ reading comprehension skill, student activity, and teacher performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research was (1) vocabulary mastery wuth speaking skills, (2)selft-confident  with speaking skill, (3) vocabulary mastery and self-confident with the speaking skills elementary school at grade 5TH Ahmad Yani Cluster, Cilacap Selatan District, CilacapCity. This study uses a quantitative correlation reaearch ,ethod. Sampling using clusterrandom sampling with a population  elemtary school at grade 5TH students Ahmad YaniCluster. The data analysis techniques used simple correlastion analysis and multiplecorrelastion assisted by Ms.Excel. The result of the simple correlation analysis indicate thatthe hypothesis states that there is a significant and positive reliationship between vocabularymastery with speaking skilss. Based on the data analysis, it can be conclude of vocabularymastery and speaking skills r(0.798), the coefficient of the correlation was tested with the ttest, the result tcount (11.011)> ty1 (1.995) showing a significant correlation between the self confident and speaking skils ry2 table (0.9129), the coefficient of the correlation was tested with the ttest, the rusult tcount (18.580)> t (1.995) showing a significant correlation between both the vocabulary mastery and self-confident together with speaking skills rtable (0.856). the coefficient the F test obtained Fcount = 92.907real level α = 0.05, with df = 68 obtained Fy12 = 3.131, then Fcount > Ftable
