Abstract

This study aims to examine the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in SMP Negeri 16 Kota Bandung in improving students' ability to read and write the Qur'an, factors that support and inhibit and solutions offered to improve the students' ability. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collected through observation, documentation and interview methods. Interviews were conducted with PAI teachers in SMP Negeri 16 Kota Bandung, amounting to 3 (three) people. The results showed that 1) the competence of PAI teachers of SMP Negeri 16 Bandung was realized by making learning plans in accordance with government instructions using the 2013 curriculum form; 2) the learning method used is with the wahdah bil kitabah method and the iqra’ method; 3) supporting factors for the implementation of PAI learning consisting of teachers, students, and the school environment; 4) Obstacles faced are the time of learning to read and write the Qur'an which is only 2 hours short, the lack of learning media to read the Qur'an and the background of the students; 5) The solution offered is the method of learning to read and write the must consider the characteristics of students and implementation of audio-visual learning methods.Keywords: Teacher Competence; Al-Qur'an Reading Literacy; Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

Historically, Islamic religious education was an education developed by the colonial government. Over time, the government continues to issue policies to provide direction for national development and the development of Islamic Islamic Studies for Muslim communities in Indonesia. Meanwhile, schools are a means and a place to study for students, as well as a place to enrich and expand the knowledge of students, especially Islamic Education. However, PAI which is currently being taught in schools in Indonesia is not without problems. This research tries to find the problem. The research method used is literature study. The results showed that the obstacles faced by PAI in schools today are students, the learning environment, teacher competence and learning methods. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out about how to improve the quality of Islamic education through optimizing personnel management, and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of personnel management in SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Plus Bandung City. The research that was carried out was included in qualitative descriptive research. The data collection method uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, improving the quality of education is a systematic effort in school management to achieve progress from one stage to a higher level to produce added value according to applicable norms/standards. Management of improving the quality of Islamic education in schools is a quality improvement method that is based on school education itself, applies a set of techniques, is based on the availability of quantitative and qualitative data, and empowers all school components to continuously increase the capacity and capacity of school organizations to meet the needs of participants. students and society. By optimizing personnel management, it can continue to improve the quality of Islamic education. Abstract

Early childhood is a golden age, where this is the right moment for educators to teach learning to read the Qur'an. The Covid-19 era is not an obstacle for PAUD institutions to implement learning to read the Qur'an, although of course there are some obstacles in its implementation. The purpose of this research activity is to describe how the implementation of the Iqro' method in learning to read the Qur'an in early childhood in the Covid-19 era. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results showed that the TK Labschool UPI Purwakarta implemented a private CBSA learning system, both when learning was carried out online through Zoom meetings and when it was carried out offline. The direct interaction between teachers and children makes the application of the Iqro method more effective when it is carried out offline. To monitor the child's progress, the teacher records it in the communication book. The attractiveness of the learning media used is a supporting factor in the application of the Iqro 'method. The inhibiting factor for the implementation of the Iqro' method is the attention of children who are easily distracted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the offer and integration of Sufistic education on adolescent religious attitudes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research. Researchers obtain data from various literature such as books, journals, scientific works, and other documents that examine research-related themes. The data obtained is then analyzed by first reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results found that Sufistic education can be reviewed and integrated into aspects of adolescent attitude formation (cognitive, affective, conative) by studying Shari'a education with the aim of Sufism in the cognitive aspect, through a psychological-humanist approach in the affective aspect, and through tafakkur activities to perfect the conative aspect. The creation of these three aspects must be supported by religious disciplines in their environments, such as character and role models from teachers and parents, instilling a sense of faith in adolescents, and a good religious environment.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian dilatabelakangi oleh keragaman etinik, suku bangsa, bahasa, warna kulit, agama, dan status sosial masyarakat di Jawa Barat yang berpotensi terjadinya konflik horizontal apabila tidak dibekali dengan pendidikan multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustaan dan teknik konten analisis. Data yang diperoleh dikompulasi, dianalisis dan disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendidikan multikultural memiliki peran penting dalam rangka menumbuhkan sikap saling menghargai, tidak mudah curiga, dan membangkitkan semangat untuk menjaga keutuhan NKRI. Walaupun penelitian mengenai pendidikan multikultural sudah banyak dilakukan, namun kenyataannya model pendidikan seperti ini belum dapat direalisasikan secara utuh dalam jiwa masyarakat Jawa Barat. Oleh karenanya, diperlukan adanya strategi pengembangan pendidikan multikultural untuk menjaga keharmonisan masyarakat di Jawa Barat serta menumbuhkan sikap pluralisme dan menghargai perbedaan. Strategi pengembangan yang dapat dilakukan adalah brainstorming (tukar gagasan) dan  pelaksanaan kegiatan, baik yang bersifat wacana (seperti seminar, lokakarya, dan talk show), maupun yang bersifat praktis (seperti riset, penyusunan modul, penyusunan kurikulum baru, pembuatan buku, pelatihan-pelatihan, simulasi, kampanye media dan lainnya). Kata Kunci: Strategi, Pendidikan Multikultural, Pengembangan  ABSTRACT The research is motivated by the diversity of ethics, ethnicity, language, skin color, religion, and social status of the people in West Java which has the potential for horizontal conflicts if not equipped with multicultural education.This study uses a qualitative analysis with library research methods and content analysis techniques. The data obtained is compiled, analyzed and concluded. The results showed that multicultural education has an important role in the framework of fostering mutual support, not being suspicious, and encouraging the spirit to maintain the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. Although research on multicultural education has been done a lot, supporting this educational model cannot be fully realized in the soul of the people of West Java. Therefore, there is a need for a multicultural education development strategy to demand harmony in the community in West Java and also foster pluralism and respect for differences. Development strategies that can be carried out are brainstorming (instead of leadership) and implementation of activities, both those that oppose discourse (such as seminars, training, and talk shows), and also practical ones (such as research, module settings, new curriculum connections, bookmaking, training, simulations, media campaigns, and others). Keywords: Development, Multicultural Education, Strategy

Abstract

This research was motivated by moral and social crises that occur in Indonesian society, especially in West Java. It was predicted that the society is not ready to face this era if they analyse moral cases occur in West Java. Most people who adhere to this religion of Islam, have not been able to fully realize the Islamic values​ in daily life. Ideally, education as a mediator in dealing with these cases presents a solution. Therefore, this article was to provide a basic inspiration regarding the innovation of the Islamic education curriculum based on the values ​​of Sundanese cultural characters. This research uses library research’s method by using inductive-deductive analysis as well as a comparison of literature and content analysis techniques. The result showed that the presence of an Islamic education curriculum based on cultural Sundanese character values ​​could emerge a generation that upholds culture and Islam. Abstract

The research aims to describe the competence development of lecturers at the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic College, Jalancagak Subang West Java. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach. Data obtained by observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results obtained were the competence development of lecturers carried out by the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic Islamic College consisting of four variables, namely 1) communication and motivation; 2) lecturer professionalism; and 3) conflict management. Reformulation is needed in the lecturer development conducted by the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic College in order to improve the quality of higher education. Some homework also needs to be carried out to better support the process of lecturer development competence so that quality learning processes are achieved, namely re-selection of lecturers who are not linear and lecturer honorarium enhancement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan kompetensi dosen di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Riyadhul Jannah Jalancagak Subang Jawa Barat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah pengembangan kompetensi dosen yang dilakukan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Riyadhul Jannah yang terdiri dari empat variabel, yaitu 1) komunikasi dan motivasi; 2) profesionalisme dosen; dan 3) manajemen konflik. Diperlukan reformulasi dalam pengembangan kompetensi dosen yang dilakukan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Riyadhul Jannah dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan tinggi. Beberapa pekerjaan rumah juga perlu dilakukan untuk lebih mendukung proses pengembangan kompetensi dosen sehingga proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas tercapai, yaitu pemilihan ulang dosen yang tidak linier dan peningkatan honorarium dosen. Abstract

Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dampak pandemi Covid-19 dan program Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) terhadap sosial-ekonomi di Indonesia, khususnya Jawa Barat. Di Jawa Barat sendiri, dukungan masyarakat terhadap program PSBB dinilai paling rendah di Indonesia. Sehingga penelitian ini betujuan untuk menjawab kebutuhan akan sikap yang harus diambil masyarakat Jawa Barat dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 dalam perspektif khalifah sebagai tujuan hidup manusia berbasis nilai-nilai etika budaya Sunda. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data bersumber dari al-Qur’an, kitab tafsir, hadis, buku, artikel jurnal, dan referensi yang relevan. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dikompulasi, dianalisis dan disimpulan dengan menggunakan teknik analysis content. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sikap yang harus diambil masyarakat Jawa Barat tergategorikan ke dalam empat ajaran dalam agama Islam, yakni aqidah, akhlak, tasawuf, dan mu’amalah. Kata Kunci: khalifah, tujuan hidup, nilai-nilai etika, pandemi Covid-19 This paper is based on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Large-Scale Social Limitation (PSBB) program on socio-economic development in Indonesia, in particular West Java. In West Java itself, public support for the PSBB program is lowest in Indonesia. So, this study aims to address the needs of the attitude that the people of West Java must face in facing the Covid-19 pandemic in the perspective of the caliph as a purpose of human life based on the ethical values ​​of Sunda culture. Research using qualitative approach. Data is sourced from the Qur'an, interpretive books, hadiths, books, journal articles, and relevant references. The data obtained were then compiled, analyzed and inferred using content analysis techniques. The results show that the attitude that the people of West Java should take is divided into four teachings in Islam, namely beliefs, morals, sufism, and mu'amalah.

Abstract

Dapat diketahui bahwasanya pendidikan bagi anak itu sangat penting. penulisan ini bertujuan untuk menyadarkan orang tua, bahwa pendidikan merupakan bagian dari Hak Asasi Manusia yang harus dipenuhi pada anak. serta memberitahu bahwasanya pendidikan terdapat pada Hukum Islam. Metode yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu menyebarkan angket menggunakan Google-form yang disebarkan kepada masyarakat umum khususnya orang tua. Hasil yang diterima penulis dari penyebaran angket yaitu: masih banyak orang tua mengatakan bahwa pendidikan pada anak itu sangat penting. tapi ada beberapa yang orang tua tidak memenuhi hak asasi manusia dalam pendidikan anak. Dikarenakan beberapa faktor, seperti faktor ekonomi, faktor keluarga, serta faktor lingkung tempat tinggal.dengan adanya penulisan ini semoga bisa menjadi bahan analisa mengenai pendidikan dalam tingkat sekolah dasar dan terpenuhinya HAM anak dalam pendidikan. serta diharapkan bahwasanya kepada orang tua bisa menyadari bahwa pendidikan bagi anak itu penting baik pendidikan dunia maupun akhirat. Supaya kelak anak kita semua bisa bermanfaat bagi dirinya sendiri serta lingkungannya.
