Abstract

The purpose of this research was would know if there are effect mathematics connection ability and disposition to mathematics achievement student class XI SMA Negeri 2 Balikpapan in the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The research used in this study is quantitative and the type of ex-post facto research. The research sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study were in the form of tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing using f-test and t-test as a partial test to determine the independent variable mathematical connection (X1) on learning outcomes (Y) and mathematical disposition independent variable (X2) on mathematics learning outcomes (Y) , but before testing the hypothesis it is necessary to test the classical assumptions of normality test, linearity test, independent test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The results in this study are 1) there is an influence of mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition on mathematics learning outcomes; 2) there is an influence of mathematical connection ability on mathematics learning outcomes; 3) there is an influence of mathematical disposition on the learning outcomes of mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Puzzle Angka dan Corong Angka (PANCORAN) yang layak digunakan dalam materi Bilangan untuk siswa kelas 5 Tunagrahita di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Tunas Bangsa Balikpapan. Penelitian ini merupakan kategori penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), dengan metode pengembangan model Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi dengan tahapan yang dilakukan sebagai berikut: (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan format produk awal, (4) uji coba awal, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba lapangan, (7) revisi produk. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Puzzle Angka dan Corong Angka (PANCORAN) yang dikembangkan termasuk kategori Sangat Valid (rata-rata skor 4,75), Sangat Praktis (skor 4,7), dan Efektif (ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 80%).This study aims to produce learning media for Number Puzzle and Number Funnel (PANCORAN) that aresuitable for use in Numbers material for Grade 5 Tunagrahita students at Tunas Bangsa Special Schools (SLB)Balikpapan. This research is a research and development (R&D) category, with the method of developing themodified Borg & Gall model with the following stages: (1) initial research and preliminary data collection, (2)planning, (3) developing the initial product format, ( 4) initial trials, (5) product revisions, (6) field trials, (7)product revisions. The results of the validation show that the learning media for Number Puzzle and NumberFunnel (PANCORAN) developed is in the category of Very Valid (average score 4,75), Very Practical (score4,7), and Effective (the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes reaches 80%)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa yang diajar melalui penerapan model Pembelajaran Superitem di kelas X SMAN 11 Makassar, mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa yang diajar tanpa melalui penerapan model Pembelajaran Superitem di kelas X SMAN 11 Makassar, mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas X SMAN 11 Makassar Tahun melalui diterapkannya model pembelajara superitem dan tanpa diterapkannya model pembelajaran superitem. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model Pembelajaran Superitem berada pada kategori tinggi, yaitu 72,46, sedangkan pada kelas yang diajar tanpa model Pembelajaran Superitem berada pada kategori sedang dengan skor rata-rata 62,16. Hasil analisis infrensial data menunjukkan bahwa nilai sign yang diperoleh adalah 0,027 dalam artian bahwa sign < (0,027 < 0,05) hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang diajar dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran Superitem dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa diterapkannya model pembelajaran Superitem. dimana hasil belajar pada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Superitem lebih tinggi dibanding dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa diterapkan model pembelajaran Superitem.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the direct influence and the interaction influence among the parenting style, learning style, and achievement motivation on students’ mathematics learning achievement. This research is ex-post facto research. The population of this research was the students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Makassar consisted of 2 schools. Sample was selected by employing purposive random sampling and obtained 4 classes. Technique of analysis which is used is mixed variables regression technique of analysis. The results of the research reveal that (1) the students’ mathematics learning achievement with authoritarian parenting style has no significant difference on the students’ mathematics learning achievement with authoritative parenting style; however, it is better than the student’ mathematics learning achievement with permissive/indulgent or rejecting/neglecting parenting styles. (2) the students’ mathematics learning achievement with visual learning style has no difference on the students’ mathematic learning achievement with auditory learning style; however it is better the students’ mathematics achievement with kinesthetic learning style. (3) the achievement motivation has positive influence on student mathematics learning achievement, (4) there is no interaction influence of parenting style and students’ learning style on mathematics learning achievement, (5) there is no interaction influence of parenting style and students’ motivation achievement on mathematics learning achievement, (6) there is no interaction influence on students’ learning style and achievement motivation on mathematics learning achievement, (7) there is no interaction influence of parenting style, learning style, and achievement motivation on mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of creativity on mathematics learning outcomes of students of Mathematics Education in University of Balikpapan Study Program on Linear Algebra Courses. The approach used is a quantitative approach with ex post facto research type. The population of this research is all students of Mathematics Education Study Program Linear Algebra Course in the School Year 2017/2018, which are 49 students. Samples were chosen randomly are 25 students. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes in Linear Algebra Subject

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh metakognisi dan kreativitas secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, apakah terdapat pengaruh metakognisi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, dan apakah terdapat pengaruh kreativitas terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi berasal dari 215 siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 4 Balikpapan. Peneliti menggunakan cluster random sampling dan mendapatkan 62 siswa yang terlibat sebagai sampel. Peneliti menggunakan tes dan angket sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis nol diterima pada kedua uji, yaitu uji F dan uji t. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh metakognisi dan kreativitas terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa baik secara bersama-sama maupun secara parsial.

Abstract

One of the subjects that requires planting concepts from an early age is mathematics. At school age, especially grade 3 students, the student's age has reached 9 to 10 years. Students at that age, among others, are happy with activity exercises and are happy with activities in the form of competitions. Based on this, learning should be packaged in the form of activities. At the elementary level, one of the materials that is the problem for students is multiplication and division. This material is basic in mathematics but it is often found that there are junior high school students who do not know the results of multiplication under 10. Jarimatika is a method for teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to students, especially at the elementary level. Jarimatika is an abbreviation of finger and arithmetic. As the name implies, the media in this method are the fingers. Based on this community service activity, it can be concluded that the students are enthusiastic and happy with the teaching of multiplication and division with Jarimatika. In addition, students are motivated to answer questions from the teacher.

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa pada SD N 014 Balikpapan  Barat dalam menjaga kebersihan diri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan bagaimana cara membersihkan lingkungan dan mencuci tangan. Dilaksanakan di SD N 014 Balikapapan Barat, berjalan dengan lancar, dengan harapan yaitu siswa dapat mengaplikasikan materi yang telah disampaikan, terutama tentang menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, sehingga pemuda pemudi bangsa Indonesia menjadi kader yang berkarakter. Siswa kelas I SD N 014 sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan diri, hal ini dibuktikan adanya cuci tangan. Selain itu siswa juga sadar akan pentignya kebersihan lingkungan dibuktikan dengan siswa sadar untuk menyapu ruangan kelas dan membersihkan laci meja.

Abstract

This research objective to develops and produce learning method in Triangle and Rectangle material. The research method using Research and Development (R & D) Design with ADDIE model which involves steps: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In its implementation, HARUM PALA (Memorize Formulas Using Songs) method was first validated by 1 learning strategy expert, 3 material experts, and 3 practitioners/teachers, which was later revised and implemented in SMP Negeri 4 Balikpapan, SMP Negeri 7 Balikpapan, and SMP Patra Dharma 2 Balikpapan. The methods used in data collection are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. In this research, the feasibility of the learning strategy expert was obtained with a percentage of 85.45% (feasible), material experts with an average percentage of 85% (feasible), and practitioners / teachers at an average percentage of 84% (feasible). Based on the achievement of student learning, the average student in the Small Scale Trial of 69.78 and on the Large Scale Test of 75.34. So, as a whole, the product of the learning method HARUM PALA (Hafalan Rumus Pakai Lagu) can be said to be feasible to be used as a method of junior high school mathematics learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan dari e-modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis sigil pada materi induksi matematika. Model penelitian ini ialah Research and Development Borg and Gall. Data penelitian berasal dari guru, siswa, pustakawan, buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal terbaru. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket (kuesioner), dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor 3,39 dan media 3,27 dengan kriteria “Sangat Valid”. Dalam menilai kepraktisan e-modul berbasis sigil respon guru mendapatkan skor 3,57 dan siswa 3,43 dengan kriteria “Sangat Praktis”. Sedangkan Keefektifan e-modul memperoleh kualifikasi “Efektif” dengan persentase skor 82%. Dengan demikian e-modul berbasis sigil pada materi induksi matematika telah valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan oleh siswa.
