Abstract

Costumer satisfaction is partly determined by the quality of service. Development of human resources in sharia financial institutions needs to be done in order to serve customers professionally. The development of sharia human resources is done with several strategies. The long term sharia human resource development strategy is done by involving external parties such as universities in the provision of professional sharia human resources. Meanwhile, short term strategy is done by applying sharia human resource developmenttechniques applied during staff work. The selection of appropriate strategies is done by adjusting the conditions and objevtives of the institution. Sharia human resource development strategies should be sustainable.

Abstract

The study investigated the effect of jigsaw cooperative learning method and students’ self-confidence on students’ academic achievement in fiqih in seventh grade of Junior Islamic High School. Three research questions and three hypothesis guided the study. The study used factorial design 2 x 3 which was a part of quasi experimental design. The subject research was 61 students that was devided into two groups by random assignment sampling. The instruments of study consisted questionaire and test. The questionaire was used to obtain the data of self-confidence, while test was used to gain the data of students’ academic achievement (outcomes). The questionaire contained 20 questions in accordance with compatibility and incompatibility of reaserch sample with the existing statement item while the test instrument contained 25 multiple choice questions. Both of instruments were pilot tested on the students to determine its usability as well as to gain its validity and realiability. The independent sample t-test was used to measure the mean scores of differences between achievement scores of experiment group and control group on pretest while the paired sample t-test was used to measure to measure the mean scores differences between achievement scores of experiment and control group on posttest. The two way analysis of varian (two-way anova) was used to measure the main effect (different teaching methods on students’ academic achievement) and interaction effect (different teaching methods and self-confidence on students’ academic achievement). The risults shew that jigsaw cooperative learning method helps students to obtain higher academic achievement than demontration teaching method. The risult was also revealed that the academic achievement of experiment group that at higer self-confidence gets higher score than another one. Lastly, there was not significant interaction effect between the two variables (teaching methods and self-confidence) on students’ academic achievement. Otherwise, it indicated that the two variables had a separate effect. This study recommanded that the next study should be done in accordance with these risults by adding or changing the independent variables

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the efforts in improving the parental involvement in children’s education along with supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The research method which is used is qualitative method that is presented descriptively. The result of the study indicates that the effort which are presented are as follows: (1) involving parents in the Commemoration of Islamic Holidays and Commemoration of National Holidays: (2) holding parenting activities; (3) mutual cooperation to build school; (4) meeting concern problem of school; (5) meeting in taking report purpose. Supporting factors come from the principal, figures or elders of the school, and teachers. The inhibiting factor comes from parents.

Abstract

Revolution of industrial 4.0 is requires education to meet. so that education can meet the needs of human resources in the future. The digitization of the education system requires teachers to have additional competencies namely digital competencies. Digital literacy for teachers is a necessity in using information and communication technology to assist teachers in carrying out effective and efficient teacher tasks. Strengthening digital literacy can be done for teachers by explaining, by use of information and communication technology in helping to carry out tasks as a teacher among others, by use of digital technology as an additional source of learning, by use of digital technology-based learning media, the provision of rapid information, school promotion, connecting to students, as well as the publication of work and information. In practice, strengthening digital literacy can be done in the form of training.

Abstract

Distance learning is a solution for the implementation of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. In implementing distance learning, every institution have their own obstacle. This research is a descriptive qualitative research approach that aims to describe the implementation of distance learning in private Islamic colleges in the regions. The results of this study are, the implementation of distance learning is carried out via WhatsApp, Google Meet, Google Classroom, and Zoom. In its implementation, there are obstacles that cause the implementation of online learning to be less effective.

Abstract

The development of learning media changes along with technological developments. Technological advances can be used by teachers to create creative and innovative learning media. Applications for making learning media include: (1) Cup Cut and Kinemaster for making audio-visual learning media; (2) Kahoot, Quizizz, Educandy, Wordwall, Academy Khan Kids, and Boombazle for educational games; (3) Powtoon and animaker applications for making animation learning media.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) to find out the character values in scouting education at MI Mambaul Ulum Dagan Solokuro Lamongan; (2) knowing the factors supporting and inhibiting the cultivation of character values in scouting education at MI Mambaul Ulum Dagan Solokuro Lamongan. The research uses a qualitative approach with case study analysis. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Checking the validity of the data through technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study are: (1) character values in scouting education consist of religious character values, character values related to oneself such as independence, creativity, and discipline, and character values related to others and the environment. (2) supporting factors for inculcating character values in scouting education are having loyal coaches, good cooperation from institutions and parents in scout extracurricular activities, complete facilities ranging from fields and outdoors to scouting tools and scout studios all of them are supportive, and the awareness and interest of student to take extracurricular activities is very high. The inhibiting factor is that the scout members are busy when delivering scouting material so that disrupts the activity process, some students need special attention due to certain conditions, the implementation of scouts is closed during school exams so that scouting activities must stop in a few days.

Abstract

The price of an abundant chili harvest is often not comparable to the cheap selling price of chilies. Therefore, the farmers suffer losses. Sundari chilies have advantages more then the others. But it has the similar selling price. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the selling price of chilies to improve the economic of Lembor's community. The empowerment through processing Sundari chili into sundari chili floss is expected to be a stimulus for the community to be more creative and innovative in processing agricultural products. This community service is carried out using the PAR method with 9 PAR tools. The results of this community service are: 1. Participants have skills in processing Sundari chili into shredded sundari chili; 2. Participants get skill of attractive product packaging.They will also know the procedures for processing industrial licence from the Lamongan district cooperative office; 3. Participant also can know the skill for marketing techniques via online and offline. Then, they also can share their experiences from micro-entrepreneurs to attract participant motivation.
