Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya pengetahuan mengenai indek kerentanan tanah berdasarkan karakteristik tanah untuk mengurangi dampak kerusakan akibat gempa bumi di Kota Padang sebagai salah satu wilayah rawan gempa di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur efektvitas hasil pengembangan media maket 3D Karakteritstik tanah Kota Padang. Pengukuran efektivitas menggunakan instrument tes hasil belajar berupa soal objektif, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus independent sample t test, sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Sipil Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang berjumlah 20 orang masing-masing kelompok. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Sedangkan skor rata-rata hasil tes kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelompok control. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa penggunaan media maket 3D Karakteristik Tanah Kota Padang untuk memudahkan penyampaian materi terkait dengan karakteristik tanah kota Padang pada mata kuliah mitigasi bencana. Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Media Maket, 3D, Karakteristik Tanah, Mitigasi Bencana

Abstract

The background of this research is that students' understanding of the material for Estimating Construction Costs is not maximal, marked by the low learning outcomes of students in Construction Cost Estimation subjects, teacher-centered learning orientation, students have not been able to learn independently and only rely on explanations of material from the teacher, and materials. the teaching available has not been able to facilitate students to learn independently and thoroughly. The research objective was to develop and reveal the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Student Facilitator and Explaining Cooperative Learning module to increase student activity and learning outcomes through increasing critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, communication skills, and collaboration skills. This research was conducted using the research and development (Research and Development / R&D) method using the Four-D (4D) development model. The Four-D (4D) development procedure is Define (restriction), Design (design), Develop (development), and Disseminate (deployment). The results obtained from this study were the validity of the module based on the Cooperative Type Student Facilitator and Explaining which was declared valid on the material aspects in the module with a total value of validity was 99.3% and the module format aspect was declared valid with a total value of 91.7. The Student Facilitator Cooperative Learning Module Type is stated to be practically based on the teacher's assessment with a practicality value of 88.62% in the very practical category and 88.98% in the very practical category. The module effectiveness value shows an increase in the pretest score of 55.00 to 84.58 in the post-test score with the gain score in the medium category. %. Based on the findings of this study, it is concluded that the module based on the Cooperative Type Student Facilitator and Explaining is valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning medium in the Construction Cost Estimation subject.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Teknik Pemboran merupakan salah satu mata kuliah pada Program Studi Teknik Pertambangan PDD AKNS. Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh penerapan model project based learning terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar praktik pemboran mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan PDD AKNS Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experimen dengan desain Pretest-Postest Control Design yang terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan tahap akhir. Berdasarkan tahap persiapan dilakukan observasi kemampuan awal mahasiswa dan membuat rubrik penilaian kinerja. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan pembagian kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dimana pada kelas eksperimen diterapkan model PjBl sedangkan pada kelas kontrol tetap diterapkan model konvensional. Tahap akhir dilakukan analisis data, pembahasan dan pengambilan kesimpulan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa t hitung (2,95) > t tabel (2,0101)  pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 dan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen mengalami kenaikan sebesar 33%, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya 12%. Dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar praktik pemboran mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan PDD AKNS. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar praktik pemboran mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan PDD AKNS. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan analisa Gain Score dimana pada kelas eksperimen mahasiswa yang mengalami kenaikan nilai sebesar 33% dengan kategori sedang, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya 12% dan dengan kategori rendah.

Abstract

Products are goods that are available and provided in stores for sale. Products provided in stores must be arranged properly to order to attract the attention of consumers to buy. Products arranged in a store will depend on the type of store. The product arrangement at a retail store will be different from the product arrangement at a clothing store. Store display will reflect a picture that is in the store so consumers know the types of products sold by product arrangement. An attractive arrangement will stimulate the desire of consumers to buy. In data mining there are several types of methods by use including prediction, association, classification and estimation. In the prediction method there are several techniques including the frequent pattern growth (FP-growth) method. FP-growth algorithm is the development of the apriori algorithm. So, the shortcomings of the apriori algorithm are corrected by the FP-growth algorithm. FP-growth is one alternative algorithm that can be used to determine the set of data that most often appears (frequent itemset) in a data set. Results of research on the application of the FP-growth algorithm to maximizing the display of goods. It is hoped that this research can be used to adjust the product layout according to the level of frequency the product is sought by the customer so that the customer has no difficulty finding the product they want.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kesiapan pengetahuan siswa Kelas XII Teknik Desain Permodelan dan Informasi Bangunan dalam Memasuki Dunia Kerja. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif yang bersifat kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 51 orang siswa yaitu kelas XII Desain Permodelan dan Informasi Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi dan uji coba 54 orang siswa kelas XII Desain Permodelan dan Informasi Bngunan SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert, yang terdiri dari 4 pilihan jawaban dengan 40 pernyataan. Dari penelitian ini terungkap bahwa indikator kesiapan pengetahuan siswa kelas XII Teknik Desain Permodelan dan Informasi Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi dalam memasuki dunia kerja memiliki derajar pencapaian 85,56 % yang berada dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan konstribusi Gaya Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Konstruksi Jalan dan Jembatan Kelas XI TGB SMK N 1 Koto XI Tarusan. Penelitian ini digunakan adalah metode korelasional yang bersifat korelasional dengan jumlah populasi 43 orang siswa yaitu kelas XI Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan dan uji coba dengan 25 orang mahasiswa kelas XII Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan. Instrumen pengumpulam data menggunakan angket dengan sakala likert, yang terdiri dari 4 pilihan jawaban dengan 40 pernyataan. Dari penelitian ini terungkap bahwa indikator konstribusi gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMK Negeri 1 Koto XI Tarusan terdapat konstribusi yang berarti antara gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar.Hasil dari analisis data diperoleh bahwa [1] Terdapat konstribusi yang berarti (32,5%) dari gaya belajar visual terhadap hasil belajar, [2] Terdapat konstribusi yang berarti (36,0%) dari gaya belajar auditorial terhadap hasil belajar, [3] Terdapat konstribusi yang berarti (51,0%) dari gaya belajar kinestetik terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of Building Engineering Education students on job opportunities as teachers. The population in this study were students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program who were taking their thesis in the July-December 2020 semester totaling 70 students and a sample of 40 students. The research data was carried out through a questionnaire given to students who were the research samples to determine student perceptions of job opportunities as teachers using the Likert scale. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the results of the study indicate that the students' perceptions of building engineering education on job opportunities as teachers were 79.72%, the category was quite good. So it can be concluded that Building Engineering Education students who are taking their thesis July-December 2020 semester have a pretty good perception of job opportunities as teachers.

Abstract

The background of this research is the difficulty of students in understanding the material which is not only in the form of theory but also calculations that make students think more critically to understand the lesson. In addition, it is not supported by interactive learning media to understand the material about Construction Cost Estimates. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Powtoon animation media on student learning outcomes in Construction Cost Estimation subjects in the Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) class of SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra. This study uses experimental research with a Non Equivalent Control Group design. The research design used 2 classes, namely class XI DPIB class A as the experimental class and class XI DPIB as the control class. The data obtained are the results of the student's pretest before being given the action and posttest after the action is taken. Hypothesis calculation using t-test obtained t count of 3.609, where the value is greater than t table of 2.039, indicating that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes using Powtoon animation media and those not using the Estimated Construction Cost subject for class XI DPIB at SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to show how the effect of using e-module based on Project-based Learning on learning outcomes in the Road and Bridge Construction subject for class XI students of SMKN 1 West Sumatra. This type of research is quasi experimental and the research design used is nonequivalent.control.group.design. The samples used in this study were 33 students consisting of 15 students in Class A as the experimental class and 18 students in Class B as the control class. The results of the data obtained from this study were obtained from the pretest results before being given teaching and the post-test results after being taught. The results that have been obtained are then analyzed using the t-test to determine the hypothesis of the study. Based on the hypothesis testing, it was found that tcount 2.204> ttable 5% = 2.0231 then it can be analyzed that there is a relevant influence on improving student learning outcomes in learning by using e-module. Roads and Bridges in class XI DPIB SMKN 1 West Sumatra.

Abstract

This research is about the Relationship between Entrepreneurship courses and Student Entrepreneurship Readiness. The problem that arises in this research is the lack of readiness of FT UNP's Building Engineering Education Study Program students in entrepreneurship. This is because most students taking entrepreneurship courses only want to get grades and fulfill the requirements of lectures, so this affects students' desire to become entrepreneurial. This study aims to reveal the relationship between entrepreneurship courses and entrepreneurial readiness of students in the Building Engineering Education Study Program, FT UNP. This type of research is a descriptive correlational study using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results of the correlation test obtained rcount of 0.776. This value is compared with the rtable at the 5% significance level of 0.2759. Then the results obtained rcount ≥ rtable, 0.776 ≥ 0.2759. Furthermore, the results of the significance test obtained tcount of 8.6122. This value is compared with the ttable at the 5% significance level of 2.00758. Then the results obtained tcount ≥ ttable, 8.6122 ≥ 2.00758. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between entrepreneurship courses and entrepreneurial readiness of students of the Building Engineering Education Study Program FT UNP.
