Abstract

Platform yang menggunakan teknologi open-source untuk robot pengintai rumahan masih jarang ditemukan, khususnya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi sistem robot mobile untuk pengintaian rumah. Penelitian ini tidak hanya berfokus dalam pembuatan alat, namun diperluas menjadi sebuah platform murah dan handal untuk membuat robot pengintai rumahan. Platform yang dibuat bernama Govinda Rover (Mark II) memiliki kemampuan memantau area rumah dari jarak jauh dan mengambil aksi secara otomatis ketika terdapat gangguan. Single-board computer digunakan sebagai perangkat pemroses inti platform, dan mikrokontroler sebagai pengontrol bagian mekanik. Kombinasi modul kamera beresolusi tinggi, sensor suhu dan adapter Wi-Fi dapat digunakan sebagai sensor visi dan lingkungan, seperti merekam video dan gambar beresolusi tinggi dari jarak jauh. Antarmuka platform menggunakan teknologi HTML5 Multi-touch dan responsif pada berbagai macam perangkat. Antarmuka berkomunikasi dengan software server pada robot yang dibangun menggunakan Tornado Web Framework melalui HTML5 WebSocket, meniadakan paradigma request/response untuk memberikan respon kendali super cepat. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukan semua komponen sistem dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.Kata kunci: Platform robot pengintai rumahan open-source, Single-board computer, HTML5 WebSocket, HTML5 Multi-touch

Abstract

Greenhouses provide not only solution to problems faced by conventional farming systems but also play an important role to improve the energy efficiency and environmentally friendly awareness. To achieve benefits of greenhouse farming system in terms of energy efficiency, research related to this issue have been done by many researchers. However, resources that concern on how to practically implement the particular energy-saving technology for greenhouses need to be improved. In this research, field experiment results related to low-power communication between nodes have been reported by implementing universal prototype modules. The pros and cons of existing communication technology, the proposed architecture of network and module analysis, and the performance evaluation of the proposed module dedicated to intelligent greenhouse farming system were also discussed.

Abstract

Electric energy consumption in a residential household is one of the key factors that affect the overall national electricity demand. Household appliances are one of the most electricity consumers in a residential household. Therefore, it is crucial to make a proper prediction for the electricity consumption of these appliances. This research implemented feature engineering technique and long short-term memory (LSTM) as a model predictor. Principal component analysis (PCA) was implemented as a feature extractor by reducing the final 62 features to 25 principal components for the LSTM inputs. Based on the experiments, the two-layered LSTM model (composed by 25 and 20 neurons for the first and second later respectively) with lookback number of 3 found to give the best performance with the error rates of 62.013 and 26.982 for RMSE and MAE, respectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menerapkan salah satu jenis mikrokomputer, yaitu Raspberry Pi Tipe B yang digunakan sebagai perangkat pemroses inti sebuah sistem pengelola konten berbasis web pada digital signage untuk kepentingan akademik. Sistem pengelola konten yang dibangun pada penelitian ini menggunakan framewok berbasis Drupal 7 dan sistem operasi Raspbian Wheezy. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya, penggunaan digital signage sebagai media untuk menyebarkan informasi memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibandingkan dengan media konvensional, seperti media cetak. Digital signage mampu menampilkan informasi yang lebih atrakif dan dapat menarik pengunjung lebih banyak. Kelebihan yang dimiliki oleh sebuah mikrokomputer, seperti harga yang relatif terjangkau, ukurannya yang kecil (seukuran kartu ATM), dan konsumsi daya yang rendah (3,5 Watt) bisa dipadukan dengan penggunaan digital signage dalam hal pemilihan perangkat pemroses inti. Dari hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan peneliti selama eksperimen, mikrokomputer mampu menjalankan antarmuka berbasis web dinamis yang menampilkan konten multimedia seperti gambar dan efek transisi yang atraktif dengan baik untuk keperluan penyampaian informasi akademik di Laboratorium Robotics and Embedded Systems STMIK STIKOM Bali.This study implements a kind of microcomputers which is called Raspberry Pi type B as a core processing device of digital signage for academic purposes. The content management systems constructed in this study used Drupal framewok and Raspbian Wheezy as operating systems. Compared to the conventional method (printed brochures, etc.), the use of microcomputers for displaying information offer some advantages. According to the previous work, it is concluded that digital signage can be more attractively invite the audiences. A relatively affordable price, small size (at the size of an ATM card), and low power consumption (approximately 3.5 Watts), make the microcomputer as an ideal choice for digital signage. According to the obtained results, the microcomputer is capable to run a dynamic web-based interface that displays a multimedia content such as images and transition effects etc. for academic information systems implemented at the Laboratory of Robotics and Embedded Systems STMIK STIKOM Bali.

Abstract

The current agricultural systems generally uses chemical fertilizers as a growth booster in order to meet the global food needs of 7 billion people and all of their livestock. But unfortunately not all are aware of the great danger behind such an overuse, unmetered application of chemical fertilizers, freely in an open field for the survival of the planet and its population. Thanks to technological advances, especially in the field of instrumentation and communication technology, the problem of increasing efficiency and avoiding such overuse should be minimized properly. In this study, the researchers tried to apply capacitive moisture sensor technology and serverless Internet of Things to the moisture meter instrument in the hydroponic drip fertigation system with roasted husk planting media. Capactive sensor technology has the advantage of corrosion resistance when applied to planting media containing high humidity and low alkalinity. By using a serverless IoT architecture, it is possible to monitor from anywhere via the internet, without involving complicated and expensive infrastructure. Based on the results of the prototype testing, it is known that the instruments built can work properly. The results of monitoring system conditions such as temperature and free heap appear stable. The reading results of the two sensors also run steadily, without fluctuations and variations in the reading that exceed 5%. The process of remote monitoring and data logging to serverless IoT is monitored to be stable with a data recording success rate of 99.8%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe current method of attendance recording can be done in various way. Ranging from conventional method that using a piece of paper, or more advanced technology such as finger print, face recognition, retina, RFID and using a QR Code. From several choices of attendance system methods, especially for recording student attendance, QR Code offers a cheap and effective solution. This is possible thanks to the use of smart phones that have become common needs, students bring their own ponsel pintar or known as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). In this study, the camera feature is used to record attendance using the QR Code (Quick Response Code). The QR Code feature has become a hot topic especially in terms of dynamic publication of URL links such as payment transactions, login processes and attendance systems. By combining the QR Code and BYOD methods, it is expected that the attendance system can be done more cheaply and accurately compared to other methods. So that the attendance process becomes faster and more precise. This study also discusses more deeply the comparison of attendance methods and the attendance prototype design using the QR Code and BYOD.Keywords: Attendance Information System, Quick Response Code, BYOD.ABSTRAKProses absensi saat ini dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, mulai dari absen secara manual dengan menggunakan kertas, secara system dengan menggunakan finger print, face recognition, retina, menggunakan kartu RFID dan yang terbaru dengan menggunakan QR Code. Dari beberapa pilihan metode system absensi, terutama untuk system absensi mahasiswa di sebuah perguruan tinggi, QR Code merupakan pilihan tepat dan murah karena saat mahasiswa memiliki ponsel pintar dan mereka membawa sendiri ponsel pintarnya atau dikenal dengan istilah Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). Pada penelitian ini fitur kamera dimanfaatkan untuk melakukan pencatatan kehadiran dengan menggunakan QR Code(Quick Response Code). Fitur QR Code telah menjadi topik hangat terutama dalam hal publikasi dinamis tautan URL such as transaksi pembayaran, proses login dan system absensi. Dengan penggabungan metode QR Code dan BYOD maka diharapkan system absensi dapat dilakukan dengan lebih murah dan akurat dibandingan dengan metode lainnya. Sehingga proses absensi menjadi lebih cepat dan tepat. Pada penelitian juga dibahas lebih dalam mengenai perbandingan metode-metode absensi dan rancang bangun prototype system absensi dengan menggunakan QR Code dan BYOD.Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Kehadiran, Quick Response Code, BYOD.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on cultural tourism actors in Indonesia having difficulty holding their cultural events again due to financial constraints. And ticket sales are still conventional. The research technique used is descriptive analysis method with literature study. The data collection technique used is literature study. And the software development technique used is the Software Development Life Cycle method with a prototype development model. The results of this research are in the form of a mobile application model that combines two functions, namely as an online ticketing platform and a funding platform, into one complete system that is interconnected with each other. Design design using Adobe Xd tools. Applications can CRUD data from and to the cloud server using the REST API. The cloud server used is Firestore, while the REST API uses Firebase Functions developed with the Javascript programming language (NodeJs) through the Firebase CLI. And also the application runs tests with unit testing, instrumentation testing, and performance testing with good results. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the model or application design resulting from this research is a mobile application that has met the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with an APK format that runs on the Android operating system, namely the native app. Along with other features and specifications described in this paper.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe presence of human resources is an important part of operations of a company and institution, but at this time The attendance approach has problems such as conventional recording or using non integrated devices. This research develops an RFID-based attendance system (Radio Frequency Identification Device, RFID) with a real-time database. Utilizing the authentication method with a real time database will make it easier to monitor the whereabouts of employees in operations. In this system, employee attendance information in the company and institutions can be reviewed quickly without the need to actively request data on the server. In addition, attendance data efficiency statistics can also be promoted to effectively satisfy the daily attendance needs of enterprises and institutions.Keywords: Presensi, Absensi, RFID, realtime, database.ABSTRAKKehadiran sumber daya manusia adalah bagian pnting dari operasional sebuah perusahaan dan lembaga, tapi saat ini pendekatan kehadiran memiliki masalah seperti pencatatan secara konvensional ataupun menggunakan perangkat yang tidak terintegrasi. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem presensi berbasis RFID (Radio Frequency Perangkat Identifikasi, RFID) dengan realtime database. Dengan memanfaatkan metode autentikasi dengan realtime database akan memudahkan dalam memonitoring keberadaan karyawan dalam operasional. Dalam sistem ini, informasi kehadiran karyawan di perusahaan dan lembaga dapat ditinjau dengan cepat tanpa perlu aktif meminta data pada server. Selain itu, statistic efisiensi data kehadiran juga dapat dipromosikan secara efektif memuaskan kebutuhan kehadiran harian perusahaan dan institusi.Kata Kunci: Presensi, Absensi, RFID, realtime, database.
