Abstract

This paper is presents a microstrap patch with a T-shaped rectangular antenna workings; the T-shaped patch operating at 3.6 GHz resonating frequency range for 5G application (from 2.9 to 4.4 GHz) repectively. The overall size of the proposed antenna is 22×24×0.25 mm3; the feeding technique using a 50 Ω feed line to the antenna. The proposed antenna is printed on compact Rogers RT 588 lz substrate having permittivity (ɛr) 2.00, loss tangent (tan δ) 0.0021, with thikness 0.2 mm. The proposed antenna introducesmany advantages like small size, low profile, and simpler structure. The characteristics such as radiation pattern, reflection coefficient, gain, current distribution, and radiation efficiency are respectively presented and discussed, using CST microwave study in simulating and analysing. Introducing a slot with a rectangular T-shaped patch antenna achieved lower frequency with 98.474% radiation efficiency and peak gain of the proposed antenna at 2.52 dB. The fractional bandwidth is 42.81% (2.90 GHz to 4.48 GHz) with a resonant frequency of 3.6 GHz and return loss at 28.76 dB. This frequency band attributessuited 5 G mobile application.

Abstract

Paper based approach to clinical documentation such as handwritten notes among health care providers are cause of errors in medical field. Therefore, health record system needs to be replaced with electronic health record (EHR). Many health professionals in developing countries specifically in Iraq refuse to use the systems implemented for their benefits due to many reasons. Thus, the use of electronic services is important for successful electronic health implementations. Therefore, this study is intended to identify the main factors affecting the intention of use of the electronic health record in Iraq. Health professional staff who work in the main hospital in Dhi-Qar is chosen because this province is the first local province that implemented many electronic projects. The present study examined use of user acceptance of technology, based on the technology acceptance model (TAM). Moreover, the quantitative method approach for data collection using survey from staff who work in the main hospital in Dhi-Qar. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS. The results indicated significant relationship between Ease of Use, Usefulness, Usefulness, Attitude, and Intention of use of EHR. These finding have implementation for decision makers in Iraq government to improve future implementation of e-health services.

Abstract

Fine-grained visual categorization (FGVC) dealt with objects belonging to one class with intra-class differences into subclasses. FGVC is challenging due to the fact that it is very difficult to collect enough training samples. This study presents a novel image dataset named Cowbreefor FGVC. Cowbree dataset contains 4000 images belongs to eight different cow breeds. Images are properly categorized under different breed names (labels) based on different texture and color features with the help of experts. While evidence shows that the existing dataset are of low quality, targeting few breeds with less number of images. To validate the dataset, three state of the art classifiers sequential minimal optimization (SMO), Multiclass classifier and J48 were used. Their results in term of accuracy are 68.81%, 55.81% and 57.45% respectively. Where results shows that SMO out performed with 68.81% accuracy, 68.4% precision and 68.8% recall.

Abstract

Now more than ever, the government needs to find out that how well the system of Iraq can be transformed to efficiently offer public services to the citizens for consistent development growth. For many reasons, the answer lies in the development, innovation, and application of the latest technologies in Iraq. The use of electronic technology will offer fast and convenient access to public services and will allow the people of Iraq to participate in decision-making and designing and delivery of the services. These technologies assist in government openness, increasing accountability, and boosting public trust. A comprehensive approach that is based on the 4 key pillars to support the e-government transition of Iraq for consistent development growth is presented in this paper. This approach provides guidelines to the government of Iraq that encourage the application of technology for the betterment of people regardless of their age, sex, religious and political beliefs, financial status, disabilities, and area. It highlights the need of e government transition and provides a plan to focus on the key pillars to develop abilities for viable development growth in Iraq.

Abstract

In general, mammogram images contaminated with noise which directly affect images quality. Several methods have been proposed to de-noise these images, however, there is always a risk of losing valuable information. In order to overcome the loss of information, the present study proposed a hybrid denoising method for mammogram images. The proposed hybrid method works in two steps: Firstly, preprocessing with mathematical morphology was applied for image enhancement. Secondly, global unsymmetrical trimmed median filter (GUTM) is applied to de-noise image. Experimental results prove that proposed method work well for mammogram images. Hence, the study provided an alternative method for denoising mammogram images.
