Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure the speaker recognition accuracy in Content-Based Image Retrieval. To support research in speaker recognition accuracy, we use two approaches for recognition system: identification and verification, an identification using fuzzy Mamdani, a verification using Manhattan distance. The test results in this research. The best of distance mean is size 32x32. The best of the verification for distance rate is 965, and the speaker recognition system has a standard error of 5% and the system accuracy is 95%. From these results, we find that there is an increase in accuracy of almost 2.5%. This is due to a combination of two approaches so the system can add to the accuracy of speaker recognition.

Abstract

Stainless steels consist of several types such as Austenitic, Ferritic and Martensitic, Martensitic is one of the stainless steels that has a hardenability property, so it is suitable to be used as cutting tool components which require high hardness and corrosion resistance . The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the hardness of stainless steel martensitic type of hardening results with variations of cooling media. Methods of research used were experiments, ie hardening process by heating the material up to 1100oC temperature, held for 30 minutes, then cooled quickly on water, oil and the air, then heated back to 400oC temperature, cooled slowly, the results tested the hardness of Rockwell C method The results showed the type of stainless steel type martensitic 431 increased significantly after the Hardening process of 21.20 HRC before hardening, and after the hardening process to 47 , 6 HRC with water cooling, 47.9 HRC with oil cooling medium and 46.5 HRC for air cooling media, hardness after tempering down ranges from 6-7 HRC to 41.7 HRC for hardening with water cooling medium 41, 2HRC hardening results with oil cooling medium, and 40,4HRC un tuk hardening results with air conditioning medium.

Abstract

Indonesia has the potential of global solar radiation reaching 4.5 to 5.5 kWh /m2/day. Due to this fact, the utilization of solar energy using solar panel technology is an alternative to use energy from renewable resources. In the present study, the performance of crystalline silicon solar panels (mono and polycrystalline) under malang city climate (7,944o S ;112,613o E) were experimentally compared. The solar radiation, ambient temperature, current and voltage output, were monitored to determine normalized power output efficiency and the performance ratio of the two different solar panels. The obtained results indicate that the performance of solar panel is influenced by solar radiation, weather condition (cloudy and clear day), wind velocity and type of solar panel installation. Finaly, the normalized power output efficiency of the mono and polycrystalline by 70.79% and 66.33%, respectively. Abstract

Stainless steel material (stainless steel) is used in the home industry and the military industry, and also in the nuclear industry. Steel material is divided into five types, namely austenite, ferrite, martensite, duplex and precipitation hardening. Ferritic stainless steel is an attractive alternative in vehicle production because of its corrosion resistance. Different metals have different characteristics from one another, so the welding process of dissimilar metals requires certain techniques. The purpose of this study is to determine the tensile strength of welds in bimetallic welding between low carbon steel plates and stainless-steel plates and to know the hardness of welds in bimetal welding between low carbon steel plates and stainless-steel plates using GTAW welding. The research method used: this research is part of the testing of technical materials conducted by the destructive test method with the category of science and technology development in the field of Mechanical Engineering. There is a trend of increasing tensile strength, yield strength and hardness of bimetallic welding of low carbon steel plates and stainless-steel plates using GTAW welding, that the greater the welding amperes will increase tensile strength, yield strength and hardness. The highest tensile strength was 41.18 Kg / mm2 and the highest yield strength was 41.16 Kgf / mm2 at 60 amperes and the highest hardness was 571.01 BHN at 55 amperes with the corresponding amperage range from the usage table 45 - 65 amperes. In the HAZ area when compared to the parent material, the HAZ area hardness is higher than the parent material and lower than the weld filler.

Abstract

Youth who have positions with strategic location surrounded by a variety of campus is not always all its members feel mengenyam lecture bench. Some of them are good carpenters and construction workers and construction laborers until now have not had a steady job, sometimes idle. For the Polytechnic of Malang as vocational education institutions felt compelled to help provide a solution in the form of life skills that can be an alternative job or source of livelihood should not require significant funding. One such alternative is the electric welding workshop for the manufacture of trellises, fencing and canopy management can be done together.On the activities of Community Services was conducted education and training SMAW welding pipe joints for members Karangtaruna RT 06 RW 01 Sub Sumbersari Lowokwaru District Malang, as an effort to provide knowledge and skills that can be used to find or create new livelihood alternatives. Training provided includes knowledge and skills about safety in the welding industry, the basic theory Las SMAW, practice basic welding make ridges welding and plate work, the process of measuring and cutting the pipe, the process of grinding, process penyikuan pipe, and welding processes SMAW pipe connection ,Results of the evaluation of training Youth RT 06 RW 01 Sub Sumbersari Lowokwaru District Malang shows that the participants have been able to weld pipe joints with the process SMAW, so that they can obtain alternative employment by working in the workshops welding and has been given a set of welding equipment inverter SMAW they can continue to practice and make the business group's own welding workshop.

Abstract

Desa Merjosari, Kota Malang adalah desa yang sedang berkembang terlebih lagi kegiatan karang taruna. Karang taruna desa Merjosari beberapa tahun yang lalu adalah salah satu dari penerima mesin las dari dana PKM Polinema yang mana mesin las tersebut sudah banyak digunakan untuk membuat pagar, tenda untuk masjid setempat dan portal. Setelah mendapat mesin las, para pemuda karang taruna tersebut ingin sekali untuk belajar desain gambar dengan AutoCAD sehingga dapat membuat beraneka desain untuk pagar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah mengadakan pelatihan dasar-dasar AutoCAD 2D dan 3D untuk para pemuda karang taruna RW 01 Desa Merjosari, Kota Malang dengan tetap mengikuti protokol kesehatan. Tim Polinema mengajarkan AutoCAD kepada karang taruna mulai dari awal karena tidak ada seorangpun dari anggota karang taruna yang bisa menggambar dengan AutoCAD. Dari hasil pelatihan menggambar 2D dan 3D dengan AutoCAD yang telah dilaksanakan, Para pemuda karang taruna telah dapat menggambar dengan AutoCAD 2D dan 3D yang tadinya tidak bisa sama sekali menjadi bisa menggambar desain dengan AutoCAD 2D dan 3D

Abstract

Serves as a vertical windmill power generation derived from wind speeds that occur in areas that have a function of wind speed as power plants. so as to move / rotate to the next windmill can rotate the dynamo that can generate electrical energy. In this study, researchers wanted to develop a system by adding a dynamic fin, where fin is equipped with hinges that functioned as a reduction of pressure on the side of the lai. For more details can be followed in the design of a complete explanation on the basic theory pembahasa. At the end of this study can determine deferent between the fin and the fins remain dynamic in the manufacture of prototype vertical windmill. So in the end it can be seen which system is better , whether fixed or fins fin system dynamic , hoped this research can provide better advice to design a vertical axis windmill better.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran di bidang Ilmu Pengetahuan tertulis tentang kompetensi pesantren yaitu menunjukkan perilaku ilmiah. Beberapa permasalahan untuk mewujudkan perilaku ilmiah. Disamping itu pengetahuan ustads tentang pemanfaatan energi matahari masih kurang serta belum tersedianya trainer/alat peraga pembelajaran sel surya beserta modul praktikumnya yang sesuai dengan siswa Pondok Pesantren. Kegiatan pengabdian yang diusulkan melalui skema ini akan dilakssantrian dengan beberapa tahapan meliputi: (1) Mengadakan pelatihan kepada ustads -ustads  yang mengampu pembelajaran   tentang sel surya; (2) Membuat modul pembelajaran terkait trainer sel surya berdiskusi dengan ustads  pengampu; (3) Melakukan pendampingan dalam pembelajaran trainer sel surya agar didapatkan hasil pembelajaran yang diharapkan yaitu menumbuhkan perilaku ilmiah, kreatif, inovatif, dan rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi; (4) Melakukan evaluasi terhadap output dan outcome dengan memberikan kuisioner kepada ustads  dan murid terkait dengan model pembelajaran menggunakan trainer sel surya yang dihasilkan. Pengujian dari trainer sel surya ini dilakukan di pondok pesantren mitra yaitu Pondok pesantren putra baitul qur’an al-khusyu.
