<![CDATA[The research is motivated by  studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts that still low and the material that students have was lost from their mind. This reserach is to determine wether studentsâ understanding of   mathematical concepts by using a strategy Hollywood square Review better than studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts by using conventional strategy at VIII Grade of SMP N 1 Koto Baru. Type of this research was experiment. Population in this research was students at VIII grade of SMP N 1 Koto Baru, and sample of this research was students class VIIIA as experimental class and VIIIc as control class. Post-test was as instrumentation in this research, with realibility 0,88. From the data analysis get mean score from studentsâ achievement in experimental class was 66,22 that high rather than in control class that was 35,68. data analysis was done by using hypothesis testing. Tcalculated= 4,15 and ttable= 1,65. so, we can conclude that studentsâ understanding of  mathematical concepts that used Hollywood Square Review better that conventional strategy at VIII Grade of SMP N 1 Koto Baru]]>

<![CDATA[This research based on the lack of comprehension of the mathematical concepts that students look at learning outcomes math class VII student SMPN5 Padang and less active in group discussions. This study aimed to determine whether students comprehension of mathematical concepts with the application of cooperative learning type think pair share a better comprehension of the mathematical concepts that students applying conventional teaching class VII SMPN 5 Padang academic year 2012/2013, and to determine whether the application of Cooperative Learning type Think Pair Share cooperative Mathematics Learning effective. This type of research is experimental research on the subject with a random design. The research instrument is shaped final essay test with a reliability test is r11 = 0.84, and a questionnaire study of learning effectiveness. Based on questionnaire data obtained percentage of the overall indicator of the effectiveness of learning by 85,26% including the highly effective criteria. Hypothesis testing using t-test of the parties with the help of MINITAB, obtained p-value = 0.011 is less than α of 0.05, then reject H0. So, it can be concluded that the students comprehension of mathematical concepts with the application of cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) is better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying conventional learning class and implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share  (TPS) is very effective in learning mathematics.     ]]>

<![CDATA[Based on background knowledge of this research was understanding of mathematical concept still low and their habit was waiting the answer from their friend. This research is to determine whether studentsâ understanding of concept mathematics by using Quiz Team strategy better than studentsâ understanding of concept mathematics by using conventional strategy at VIII SMP N 4 Koto Baru. Type of this research was experiment. Population of this research was students at VIII SMP N 4 Koto Baru, and sample of this research was students class VIII.B as experimental class and VIII.A as control class. Post-Test was as instrumentation in this research, with reliability 0.93. From the data analysis get mean score from studentsâ achievement in experimental class was 56.58 that high rather than in control class that was 36.36. Data analysis was done by using hypothesis testing. Tcalculated= 2.88 and ttable= 1.68. Â so hypothesis was acceptable. So, we can conclude that studentsâ understanding of concept mathematics that used Quiz Team strategy better than conventional strategy at VIII Grade of SMP N 4 Koto Baru.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the students comprehension of mathematics concepts are still low. Learning process tends to take place in one direction. Less resource book. Students do not what to think of doing exercises and would rather wait for an answer from a friend who has more capacity. Based on observations in class VIII SMPN1 Padang Sago Pariaman found in the working practice so that studentsare not accustomedto discuss individual students are more likely to be individual in the study. This study aims to determine whether students comprehension of mathematics concepts by applying active learning strategies Peer Lesson type better than student comprehension of mathematics concepts by applying conventional learning in class VIII SMPN1 Padang Sago Pariaman 2012/2013. This type of researchis is experimental research design randomized trials on the subject. The population in this study were all students of class VIII to class VIII.3 sample as the experimental class and the control class as a class VIII.1. Instrument in this study is a test of comprehension of mathematics concepts in the form of essays with a reliability test is r_11 = 0.784. The data analysis technique used is the t-test with Minitab . Based on the test results obtained by the hypothesis P - value = 0.007 is smaller than the specified significance level of 0.05 . Thus, students comprehension of mathematics concepts by applying active learning strategies Peer Lesson type better than conventional learning in class VIII SMPN1 Padang Sago Pariaman at the level of 95 %]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research told about studentâs concept comprehension that lower so the result of studentâs mathematics learning much of them canât achieve the minimum passing grade yet and students cannot find creative ideas in learning process . The purpose of this research to determine what is mathematics concept comprehension students by applying the method of discussion (Fish Bowl) better than studentâs learning conventional at VIII grade SMPN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014. The population was students VIII grade SMPN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014 consist of two classes. The sample of this research is VIIIb as experiment class and VIII b as class control. Instrument using test comprehension concept studentâs mathematics have essay test with reliability test 0.83. Hypothesis test using MINITAB t-test. The result of the data analysis P-value 0,033 less from α that 0, 05 so the hypothesis was accepted, in concluded that studentâs mathematics concept with applying discussion method (Fish Bowl) better than learning conventional at VIII grade at SMPN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014   ]]>

<![CDATA[The high school of students SMAN 3 Solok Selatan have a matter about the lack of Understanding of mathematical concepts. This study aims to determine whether students understanding of mathematical conceps with the aplication of Cooperative Learning Model type Think Talk Write (TTW) accompanied quiz better thanthestudents understanding of mathematical conceps by using convensional learning isthe class X  SMAN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014. This type of research is experimental Thee study population was a tenth grade the high school of students class X SMAN 3 Solok Selatan. Techniques in sampling is random,which was selected as the experimental class is X.4 and control class is X.3. The instrument used was the ultimate test with indikator understanding of mathematical conceps. Form used is the essay test with a reliabiliti of 0,92. Result of students skill is treated by one person. Obtained P-value = 0,005 is less then the significan  level a = 0,05. The resulted in H1 is accepted and it can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical conceps with the application of Cooperative Learning Model type Think Talk Write (TTW) accompanied quiz better then understanding of the mathematical conceps that students applying conventional learning the high school of students class X SMAN 3 Solok Selatan 2013/2014]]>

This study aims to determine the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies Hollywood Squares Review type is better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning in class X SMAN 3 Lengayang. This type of research is experimental research study design Against Random Subjects. Instrument in this study is the final test with indicator of understanding the concept. The data analysis technique used is the one party t test with the help of Minitab software. Hypothesis test results obtained P-value = 0.004 is less than α = 0.05, then the hypothesis in this study received. It can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying Active Learning Strategies Hollywood Squares Review type is better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning in class X SMAN 3 Lengayang. ]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research is due to the lack of mathematical concept understanding of VIII grade students in SMPN 1 BatangAnai.This problem is assumed to be caused by students which are less focused on teacherâs explanation and studentsâ noting which are still less attractive and effective. The purpose of this research is to know whether studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts with the application of Mind Map learning methods and studentsâ worksheets is better than studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts with convensional teaching for VIII grade students in SMPN 1 BatangAnai. The type of this research is experimental research with Randomized Control Group Only Design. Random technique is used to take the samples. The instrument used in this research is final test in the form of essay which contains the indicators of concept understanding. The test reability is 0,78. The data is analyzed by using one party t-test and with the help of Minitab. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained that the p-value = 0,000 smaller than  = 0,05. In conclusion, the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts which applies Mind Map learning method and studentsâ worksheets is better than the conventional one.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is background by the studentsâ understanding of mathematics concepts still low and a small portion of students can not sit still for more than two minutes in the learning process. This study aims to determine whether studentsâ understanding of mathematics concepts by applying techniques Quick On The Draw is better than the studentsâ understanding of concepts mathematics by applying conventional learning class VII SMP N 1 Lengayang. This is experimental with randomized trials on the subject. The population in this study were all enrolled students of class VII in the school year 2012/2013. Samples were VII6 class as the experimental class and the control class VII7 class. The research instrument is the ultimate test with reliability = 0,79. Based on the analysis of the data found that the samples are normally distributed and homogeneous on the real level α = 0,05. Test results hypothesis by t test using MINITAB software obtained P-value = 0,032 is less than α = 0,05. So it can be concluded that the studentsâ understanding of mathematics concepts by using the Quick On The Draw Technique is better than the studentsâ understanding of mathematics concepts by using conventional learning in class VII SMP N 1 Lengayang at 95% confidence level.]]>

This is looked from the result of studentsâ mathematics learning at class VIII MTsN Tarusan. The purpose of this research is to know studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept that applay active learning model type trading places which is more good than studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept that applay convensional learning at class VIII MTsN Tarusan. The type of this research is experiment research with random sampling. The data analysis uses uji t,   and = 1,645. Because of  . Thus, the hypothesis in this research is accepted.
