Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa factor yaitu lemahnya pengetahuan guru mengenai sistem belajar dari rumah untuk siswa sekolah dasar, lemahnya keterampilan guru dalam merancangan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran dari rumah serta lemahnya keterampilan guru dalam membuat bahan ajar digital untuk proses pembelajaran dari rumah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru mengenai konsep pembelajaran dari rumah serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru untuk mendesaian bahan ajar digital berbasis STEM untuk pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pelatihan mengenai system belajar dari rumah, pelatihan STEM dan pelatihan pengambangan bahan ajar. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan kemampuan guru SD dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dari rumah serta mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar digital berbasis STEM untuk pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19 ini. Implikasi pengabdian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan bagi praktisi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam menghadapi pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19 ini.

Abstract

This research is motivated by presence of mathematical problem in life, to develop someone's ability to deal with a problem. Therefore problem solving skills are the main focus in mathematics learning. This study aims to determine the effect of using PjBL model on students' problem solving abilities. This type of research is Quasi Experimental. The technique of the sampling is using cluster random sampling. The instrument used is an Essay test. Based on the calculation of the results analysis, t-test with a significance level of 0.05 obtained t-count (11.3363) and t-table (2.162). So that t-count > t-table, where 11,363> 2,162. Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that there is the effect of using the PjBL model on problem solving skills in data presentation material of fifth grade students of SD Gugus IV Kecamatan Padang Utara.  Keywords: Project Based Learning, Problem Solving Skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students in solving mathematical problems. This research uses the qualitative approach with descriptive method. We used observation, interview, and test to collect data. This study shows that 6.67% of the samples scored between 60 and 69 in the fair category. A total of 98 students or 81.67% scored between 45 and 59 who belonged to the below average category, and 14 students or 11.67% scored between 0 and 44 which were classified as a poor category. This result proves that the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students in solving mathematics problems is still low.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of data presentation in Elementary School Cluster II District Guguak District 50 City. The type of this research is quantitative research with the experimental method and the design of Quasi Exsperiment, with the form of Nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample technique used was cluster random sampling with a sample consisting of two classes. The results showed that the average value of the Experimental Post-test class using the Project Based Learning model was 77, 6 and the control class using conventional learning was 65.6. This shows that learning outcomes with the Project Based Learning model are influential compared to conventional learning. Analysis of the data of the two groups using the t test, obtained results of tcount 4.61 and ttable at a significant level of 0.05 of 2.010 so that tcount> t table. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought many obstacles for education in Indonesia. The learning process moves from school to learning at home. To increase students' interest in learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to design new innovations such as the use of the context of karate in mathematics learning. This study aims to develop learning materials using the context of karate based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education with the topic arithmetic operations. This research is a development research using Plomp model. Three stages are used in the development of the Plomp model: 1) Initial research stage; 2) Prototype stage; 3) Assessment stage. In the initial stages, researchers conducted the data collection and gathered information through observation. In the second stage, the researcher designed the product and evaluated their validity through the expert team. In third stage, the researchers made a revision based on evaluation from the expert team and redo the validation assessment until the expert team states the product is valid for use in learning. Lesson plan of modules, teaching materials, and learning videos are stated valid with an average value of three validators 73.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil wawancara dan penyebaran angket yang pengabdi lakukan ditemukan bahwa masih banyak nya guru yang tidak mengurus kenaikan jabatan fungsional dikarenakan terbatasnya kemampuan guru dalam membuat artikel ilmiah. Hal ini perlu segera diatasi agar permasalahan yang terjadi dapat diselesaikan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang proses kenaikan jabatan fungsional dan meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan artikel ilmiah. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan IV Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar dengan melibatkan 30 orang guru sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan menggunakan dua metode yaitu dengan memberikan seminar tentang proses kenaikan jabatang fungsional dan pelatihan menulis artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan ini telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu guru telah memahami dengan baik proses kenaikan jabatan fungsional yang tertuang dalam PAN RB Nomor 16 Tahun 2009 dengan mendapatkan skor 84,86. Selain itu guru juga telah mampu mengembangkan artikel ilmiah dengan baik dengan mendapatkan skor rata-rata 85,64. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan guru mengenai proses kenaikan jabatan fungsional dan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan artikel ilmiah. Implikasi kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan guru tentang proses kenaikan jabatan fungsional guru dan kemampuan menulis artikel guru

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan informasi dan membahas tentang penggunaan media power point interaktif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar matematika siswa SD Negeri 19 Kuamang. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 19 Kuamang Kabupaten Pasaman. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 17 orang. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari dua siklus dengan empat tahap peneletian mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media power point interaktif dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar matematika siswa di kelas VI SD Negeri 19 Kuamang. Hal ini dibuktikan dari peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa yang meningkat mulai dari pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe an integrated thematic learning process improvement to the model of problem based learning in fourth grade elementary school 14 Gadut Tilatang Kamang. The approach used in this research is qualitative and quantitative. The type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research data were obtained from lesson plan observation sheets, teacher aspects, student aspects and test sheets. The research aspects of the teacher first cyclethe average value of 86% with good qualification, in the second cycle to 93% with excellent qualifications. Aspects of the students' first cycle the average value of 86% with good qualification,in the second cycle to 93%, with excellent qualifications. The student learning outcomes first cycle with an average value of 81, increased in the second cycle to 93. This the model of problem based learning can enhance the learning process and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mathematics is considered to be one of the most difficult subjects for most students. The negative effect of this is that many students feel anti-and fearful of learning mathematics before they actually learn mathematics. To increase students' interest in learning mathematics, new innovations are needed, such as the use of the context of karate in learning mathematics. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students by developing teaching materials using the context of karate sports based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education in learning mathematics on arithmetic operations. This research is a development research (Development) which leads to the Plomp development model. Three stages were used in the development of the Plomp model: 1) The initial research stage; 2) The prototype stage; 3) Assessment stage. This study obtained the results of the validity of teaching materials with an average total value of 62 in the very valid category. The results of the practicality level are stated to be practical, this can be seen from the results of teacher responses and student responses. Thus, PMRI-based mathematics teaching materials using the context of karate are declared valid with high and practical categories.

Abstract

This study aims at developing QR-Code-based data presentation learning media which are valid and practical to improve the learning outcomes of the fourth year elementary school students. This study used a research and development (R&D) model consisting of such stages as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of this study included 2 experts, 2 teachers and 26 students at class IV-B of SDN 15 Ulu Gadut, Padang. The instrument used in this study included expert validation sheets and questionnaires distributed to the teachers and students. The results indicate that (1) the use of QR-Code-based data presentation learning media to improve the learning outcomes of the fourth year elementary school students is valid according to the material expert and very valid according to the linguistic expert and media expert with the validity average of 95,41; (2) based on the response of the teachers and students, the use of QR-Code-based data presentation learning media to improve the learning outcomes of the fourth year elementary school students is very practical with the average of 95% and 88%.
