Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop digital class learning models using social learning network Schoology in elementary mathematics learning that is practical, valid and effective so that it can improve the quality of learning being carried out. This study focuses on designing learning tools used in digital classes in elementary schools, learning frameworks are expected to be valid and practical and effective. This research development uses the ADDIE model. Targeted outputs in research are digital class learning models using social learning network workogy and learning tools in the form of lesson plans, student activity sheets, student books, teacher books, and learning assessments. Digital class learning models using social learning netrwork schoology are targeted to be valid, practical, and effective in increasing the competency of elementary school students. In addition to learning models and tools, research output targets are JME (Journal on Mathematics Education / Scopus) international journals, accredited national journals namely International of Trends in Mathematics Education Research (IJTMER), proceedings of international seminars Journal of Physics and Astronomy, and proceedings of national seminars . The proposed level of technological readiness (TKT) of the proposed research is 3. The target of the TKT to be achieved in this study is 4. The results of the study can add references about models and learning tools for Digital Class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students in solving mathematical problems. This research uses the qualitative approach with descriptive method. We used observation, interview, and test to collect data. This study shows that 6.67% of the samples scored between 60 and 69 in the fair category. A total of 98 students or 81.67% scored between 45 and 59 who belonged to the below average category, and 14 students or 11.67% scored between 0 and 44 which were classified as a poor category. This result proves that the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students in solving mathematics problems is still low.

Abstract

The innovation of education is an important point of Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), one of them through traditional dance as a context of national cultural. Dance that collaborated with concept of mathematics, it is called Math Traditional Dance. This research aims to produce learning line (specific) the material of reflection and symmetry. The research method used is design research that consisted of preparing for the experiments, teaching experiments, and retrospective analysis. Data collected through observation, interviews, documentation and field notes. This research was conducted with 22 students in MIN 2 Palembang. From the try out that is obtained from the formal to the informal learning described in the learning process, so that support learning process of mirroring and symmetry for the students in grade four in elementary school.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to develop a problem-based model of science and mathematics integration for use by PGSD students that were valid and feasible to use in learning, to find out the effectiveness of problem-based science and mathematics integration models for basic education developed and help students to understand mathematical concepts and the concept of science and accelerate student graduation. In this study, it has reached the design and develop stage, the product has been validated, but it still needs testing steps to see the effectiveness of the product produced. From the results obtained it can be concluded that the development of the Science and Math Integration Model Development Model is valid in the view of the validators. Keywords:Integrated, Science, Mathematic, PBL

Abstract

Discovery learning model is a learning model that develops the students’ activities in learning by discovering and investigating their own knowledge, so that it is consistent with student-centered integrated thematic learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the Discovery Learning model in integrated thematic learning for elementary school students. This research uses comparative research by comparing some CAR existing literature studies using successful and appropriate Discovery Learning model, so it can be used in elementary school. Based on the descripton and result of the studies, it can be seen that Discovery Learning model can affect integrated yhematic learning in elementary school.

Abstract

AbstractThe need to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS) for prospective primary school teachers in facing society 5.0 has been motivating this research. This development process requires valid data regarding the HOTS description of prospective primary school teachers. The research is aimed to determine the HOTS ability of prospective primary school teachers in facing society 5.0. This is a qualitative descriptive study involving 125 senior students in the department of primary school teacher education. The data collection instrument utilized the validated mathematical HOTS test questions. The resulting score is then converted to an ideal score and mapped. The average score attained by prospective primary school teacher students was 57.01, according to the findings. This score indicates that prospective teachers' HOTS ability is in the fairly good category. The findings of this study can be used to improve HOTS for future teachers.Keywords: HOTS, prospective primary school teacher, mathematics. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya pengembangan HOTS calon guru sekolah dasar (SD) dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Proses pengembangan ini diperlukan data valid mengenai gambaran HOTS calon guru SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kemampuan HOTS calon guru SD pada pembelajaran matematika dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatitif dengan melibatkan sebanyak 125 mahasiwa akhir di jurusan pendidikan guru sekolah dasar. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal test HOTS matematis yang telah divalidasi. Skor yang didapatkan kemudian di tranformasi ke skor ideal dan kemudian dipetakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata yang diperoleh oleh mahasiswa calon guru SD adalah 57,01. Skor ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan HOTS mahasiswa calon guru berada pada kategori cukup baik. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan landasan dalam pengembangan HOTS calon guru ke depan.Kata kunci: HOTS, calon guru SD, matematika.

Abstract

With the development of technology in the 21st century it has been able to provide pro-active learning, easy to understand and comprehensive as a learning environment, so it needs to be created IT-based learning media, namely edugames to help the learning process in elementary schools. The problem encountered in this study is that a small portion of teachers do not understand how to design edugames learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to design edugames learning in mathematics learning. The type of research used is development using the Plomp model. The subjects in this study were teachers of Bukittingi City 02 Pilot School. The instrument in this study was edugames learning media. This research produces edugames media in the learning process created by the teacher

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need of a media that can support student teachers in elementary teacher education in learning mathematics. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop Edmodo-based blended learning media in learning mathematics. This research is a research and development (R&D) that uses the ADDIE procedures. This study results a valid, effective and practical Edmodo-based blended learning media in learning mathematics for student teachers in elementary teacher education. It is implied that Edmodo-based blended learning media can be applied by the lecturers to support student teachers’ learning activities and process.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi banyaknya permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru SD dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada masa pandemic covid-19. Permasalahan ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses blended learning pada proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada masa pandemic covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk guru SD kecamatan X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar sebanyak 30 orang. Kegiatan ini meliputi seminar hakikat pembelajaran Blended learning dan pelatihan penerapan pembelajaran blended learning untuk pembelajaran pada masa pandemi covid-19. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam melaksankan proses blended learning pada proses pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada masa pandemic covid-19. Implikasi pengabdian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan bagi praktisi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam menghadapi pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19 ini.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa factor yaitu lemahnya pengetahuan guru mengenai sistem belajar dari rumah untuk siswa sekolah dasar, lemahnya keterampilan guru dalam merancangan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran dari rumah serta lemahnya keterampilan guru dalam membuat bahan ajar digital untuk proses pembelajaran dari rumah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru mengenai konsep pembelajaran dari rumah serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru untuk mendesaian bahan ajar digital berbasis STEM untuk pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pelatihan mengenai system belajar dari rumah, pelatihan STEM dan pelatihan pengambangan bahan ajar. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan kemampuan guru SD dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dari rumah serta mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar digital berbasis STEM untuk pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19 ini. Implikasi pengabdian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai landasan bagi praktisi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam menghadapi pembelajaran pada masa pandemic covid-19 ini.
