Abstract

Wiralodra 27 rental car is a car service provider in Bogor city. Due to the high potential market in this industry, the car rental company requires an appropriate business model and new strategies in the face of competition. The objectives of this research are 1) to identify present business model of the company using the canvas business model approach; 2) to analyze each element that becomes the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat that affect the business model of the company; 3) formulate strategies to improve the canvas business model; and 4) to make recommendations for the improvement program of the business development of Wiralodra car rental 27. The method used in this research included the canvas business model and SWOT analysis as a tool of analysis. The respondents of this research consisted of 5 members of the Board of Director of the company and one senior employee. In addition, there were also twenty four customer respondents who were selected with purposive sampling. The research results showed recommendations for the improvements of all key elements of the canvas business model. The main priority scales of the improvements are the elements of customer segment, key partnership, revenue stream for associated risk factors of the business. The second priority scales of the improvements are the elements of value propositions, channel, customer relationship, key resources, key activities, and cost structure.Keywords: canvas business model, rental car services, SWOT, Wiralodra

Abstract

Teladan Prima Group (TPG) as one of the palm oil plantations company have a strategic objectives in perspective of financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth with the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). The efforts to improve of high productivity of all resources that owned, are effectiveness managed with cost efficiency is the ultimate goal of company performance measurement. The problems occurred, management is confronted on the issues of the achievement of company performance targets that are not optimal and the strategic objectives of the company have not been cascaded down in a balanced way. The purpose of this research is to analyze of the strategic objectives and the implementation of BSC by using the technique of analysis of fourteen strategic objectives of the company in the four BSC perspectives with the integration of analytic network process (ANP). Results from the processing of primary data obtained through in-depth interviews and pairwise comparison of 7 respondents on the company executive level shows the results: financial perspective has the biggest weighting 42.21%, internal business process perspective 27.45%, customer perspective 16.29% growth and learning perspective 14.04% with consistency ratio (CR) 2.14% which means the respondent opinion is acceptable and consistent.Keywords: strategic objectives, balanced scorecard, ANP, oil palmAbstrak: Teladan Prima Group (TPG) sebagai salah satu perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit memiliki sasaran strategi dalam perspektif kinerja keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal dan pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan dengan penerapan Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Upaya peningkatan produktivitas sumberdaya yang dimiliki, dengan efektivitas pengelolaan dan efisiensi biaya merupakan tujuan akhir dari pengukuran kinerja perusahaan. Permasalahan yang terjadi, manajemen dihadapkan pada isu pencapaian target kinerja perusahaan yang belum optimum dan sasaran strategis perusahaan belum diturunkan secara seimbang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sasaran strategis dan implementasi BSC dengan menggunakan teknik analisis terhadap 14 sasaran strategis perusahaan di dalam empat perspektif BSC dengan integrasi proses jejaring kerja analitik (ANP). Dari hasil pengolahan data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara secara mendalam dan kuesioner perbandingan berpasangan terhadap 7 responden level eksekutif perusahaan menunjukkan hasil: perspektif kinerja keuangan memiliki bobot terbesar 42,21%, kinerja proses bisnis internal 27,45%, kinerja pelanggan 16,29%, dan kinerja pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran SDM 14,04% dengan tingkat rasio inkonsistensi (CR) sebesar 2,14% yang berarti konsistensinya dapat diterima dan konsisten.Kata kunci: sasaran strategis, balanced scorecard, ANP, kelapa sawit

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to formulate to increase the sheep production at CV Mitra Tani Farm (CV MT Farm), Ciampea, Bogor. The research was conducted using descriptive analysis by analyzing the problem experienced by CV. MitraTani Farm. Primary data and secondary data were gathered at this research. The research was also conducted using several analytical methods such as value chain mapping, internal factor evaluation (IFE) and external factor evaluation (EFE) matrix, SWOT and quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM). Based on the value chain analysis, the current production of sheep at CV MT farm is highly depending on the supply from its partners and internal farmers. According to the IFE and EFE results, the differences of each weighted values were respectively 2,120 and 0,686 so the position of the company in the SWOT matrix was situated at Quadrant I. Therefore the company needs to use a growth strategy. The QSPM sequenced the strategy priority as follow (1) increasing the number of lambs, (2) developing the management, (3) strengthening the capital and ownership, (4) improving the quality through technology. The result of the gross profit margin calculation, if the sheep‘s selling is increased up to 1000 sheep per month then the possible annual profit that can be earned by CV MT farm is 40,34% of the total production.Keywords: MT Farm, sheep production, strategies, SWOT, QSPM, gross profit marginABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk memformulasikan strategi peningkatan produksi domba di CV Mitra Tani Farm (CV MT Farm), Ciampea, Bogor. Pendekatan penelitian yang diterapkan adalah analisis deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan mempelajari permasalahan dari objek yang diteliti. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan alat analisis berupa pemetaan rantai nilai,  matriks IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) dan EFE (External Factor Evaluation), SWOT, dan QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Hasil analisis rantai nilai diketahui bahwa produksi domba di CV MT farm saat ini sangat tergantung dari pasokan mitra dan petani internal. Hasil IFE dan EFE diperoleh selisih nilai tertimbang masing-masing sebesar 2,120 dan 0,686 maka diperoleh posisi perusahaan dalam matrik SWOT berada pada kuadran I. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan disarankan untuk menggunakan strategi pertumbuhan. Urutan prioritas strategi berdasarkan QSPM adalah (1) meningkatkan jumlah bakalan, (2) pengembangan manajemen, (3) memperkuat modal dan kepemilikan, (4) meningkatkan kualitas melalui teknologi. Hasil perhitungan gross profit margin diketahui keuntungan yang diperoleh CV MT farm setiap tahunnya jika meningkatkan penjualan domba mencapai 1000 ekor/bulan adalah sebesar 40,34% dari total produksi. Abstract

Limbah industri tapioka berasal dari proses pencucian dan proses ekstraksi yang kaya akan kandungan bahan organik seperti pati, serat protein, dan gula. Komponen limbah ini merupakan bagian sisa pati yang tidak terekstrak dan komponen selain pati yang terlarut dalam air. Salah satu upaya pemanfaatan gas hasil industri tapioka dapat digunakan sebagai sumber bioenergi. Pemanfaatan teknologi anaerobik dengan memberikan perlakuan tertentu terhadap limbah cair tapioka dapat meningkatkan produksi biogas dan kadar gas metan yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi status keberlanjutan biogas, mengetahui faktor eksternal dan internal biogas, dan memformulasi alternatif strategi keberlanjutan untuk menyokong implementasi biogas pada industri tapioka. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara purposive random sampling. Responden berasal dari divisi pemasaran, operasional, administrasi, keuangan, dan pakar pada bidang terkait dengan total 6 responden. Untuk memperoleh strategi terbaik, studi kasus pada perusahaan agroindustri tapioka di PD XYZ, Pesawaran, Lampung, menggabungkan analisis keberlanjutan, analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), dan analisis QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Untuk skala multidimensi, biogas memiliki status “cukup berkelanjutan” dan dengan analisis SWOT dan didapatkan delapan faktor internal dan delapan faktor eksternal. Strategi terbaik ialah menyusun kerangka konseptual terintegrasi dengan melibatkan seluruh stakeholders dalam pengembangan biogas.

Abstract

 Cooking loss and elongation are primary noodle quality parameters that depend on microstructure of the noodle. The noodle microstructure is strongly influenced by degree of gelatinization, moisture content, and shear force experienced by the dough. These parameters are controlled by temperature and screw speed of the extruder. The objective of this research was to optimize three processing variables i.e., corn flour moisture (70, 75, 80% dry basis), extruder temperature (80, 85, 90°C), and screw speed (110, 120, 130 rpm). Corn noodles were processed using Scientific Laboratory Single Screw Extruder type LE25-30/C. Optimizations Using Response Surface Methodology were based on four parameters, i.e., hardness, stickiness, elongation, and cooking loss characteristics .Results showed that the optimum processing condition was obtained at moisture of 70% (dry basis), extruder temperature 90°C, and screw speed 130 rpm. Under this condition, corn noodles has hardness of 3039.79 gf, stickiness of -116.2 gf, elongation of 318.68%, and cooking loss of 4.56%.

Abstract

Tumpi-tumpi is a traditional food from South and West Sulawesi (ethnic Bugis-Makassar) using fishas raw material. The quality parameters of tumpi-tumpi, especially in terms of oil absorption, color andtexture were affected by the condition of the frying process (including the percentage of coating materials,temperature and frying time). This study was aimed to assess the production technology of the tumpi-tumpithrough frying process optimization of deep fat frying using Design Expert 7.0® software with ResponseSurface Methodology (RSM) Box-Behnken Design producing an optimal response. The results showed thatthe response of color (L value, ohue) and texture (hardness, cohesiveness) of tumpi-tupi were significantlyinfluenced by the percentage of coating materials as well as frying temperature and time. The optimizationusing software Design Expert 7.0® with RSM Box-Behnken produced the optimal processing formula of1.5% coating materials, 150oC frying temperature and 30 s frying time produced the tumpi-tumpi withproperties as follows: 62.25 of L (lightness) value indicating a bit light, 78.73 of ohue indicating yellow redcolor, 15407.60 gs hardness reflecting moderat hardness and 0.51 g/g cohesiveness impressing slight chewy.
