Abstract

Schools as an educational institution face two demands, namely the demands of the community and the demands of the business world, the researcher wants to find out more about how the implementation of Principal Leadership Management in Quality of Learning at the 34 Banyuasin III State Elementary School. The research used descriptive qualitative research method. Qualitative method used to analyze data in the form of information, such as observations, documentation, using two ways of thinking and for the informant were administrative staff at the 34 Banyuasin III State Elementary School. From the results of this study, it was found that the principal always distributes educators in accordance with the fields they are skilled in and assigns tasks to education personnel in accordance with their disciplines. In relation to the world of education, learning facilities can be positioned as part of supporting student success which is called student learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of the researchers in conducting this study was to find out and describe the influence of the leadership of the school principal and the role of the school committee together on the performance of teachers of public junior high schools in the District of Pangkalan Lampam. The time for conducting this research was from August to October 2022, and it was carried out at the public middle school in Pangkalan Lampam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study employed correlational quantitative research, employing the method after the fact. The sample in this research is made up of 81 participants. From the results of the research, it was found that the influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of state junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District amounted to 16.1%. The size of the contribution of the influence of the school committee on the performance of state junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam Subdistrict was 8.5%. And the size of the contribution of the influence of the principal's leadership and the role of the school committee together on the performance of state junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam Subdistrict was 21.5%. while the remaining 78.5% is influenced by other factors that are not included in this research.

Abstract

This research is based on a need for a better understanding of the characteristics and conditions of students when evaluating assessments. as well as the existence of a large proportion of teachers who have not been able to apply information technology in an effort to increase the effectiveness of student learning. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the influence of pedagogic competence and professional competence together on the performance of teachers in state middle schools in Pangkalan Lampam District. This research was conducted in all public middle schools in Pangkalan Lampam District, namely Public Middle School 1 Pangkalan Lampam, Middle School 2 Pangkalan Lampam, Middle School 3 Pangkalan Lampam, Middle School 4 Pangkalan Lampam and Middle School 5 Pangkalan Lampam, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and took place from June to October 2022. This study used a type of correlational quantitative research method after the fact. Sampling techniques that can be used include technical probability sampling as well as non-probability sampling. The total number of state Junior high school teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District is 102. F valuecount of 19.286 and the value of FTable of 3.11 then Fcount > FTable which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the pedagogic competency and professional competency variables have a significant effect on teacher performance variables. The R Square value is 0.331, thus the coefficient of determination is 33.1%, so it can be concluded that the influence of pedagogical competence and professional competence on teacher performance is 33.1%, and the remaining 67% is influenced by other factors not included in this variable.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether there is a significant effect of teacher’s competence and academic supervision either partially or simultaneously on school effectiveness in Sekolah Penggerak (Driving School) Senior High School level in Palembang City. To achieve this goal, a quantitative approach is used. Data were collected using questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The results of the study show that teacher’s competence and academic supervision have a significant effect on school effectiveness both partially and simultaneously. The novelty of this research lies in the location and study that focuses on Sekolah Penggerak. This research contributes to teachers and the community in proving the magnitude of the influence of teacher’s competence and academic supervision on school effectiveness and helps socialize the Sekolah Penggerak program which is considered as a new government policy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang, mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh motivasi guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang, dan mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, populasi penelitian adalah seluruh guru di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Muara Telang dan sampel penelitian ini diperoleh sebanyak 88 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas menggunaan validitas konstruksi dan validitas isi. Sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha. Uji Prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas, liniearitas dan heterokedastisitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan supervisi kepala sekolah dan motivasi guru terhadap kinerja guru dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,731 dengan presentasi hubungan sebesar 53,5% sedangkan 46,5% ditentukan oleh faktor lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide a description of the impact of leadership and work discipline on teacher’s job satisfaction at SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. A quantitative technique was used in the research. According to the findings of the study, partial leadership has a favorable and substantial impact on teacher work satisfaction at SMA PGRI 2 Palembang. Similarly, it is suggested that there is a favorable and significant impact of partial assessment of work discipline on teacher’s job satisfaction. The examination of leadership and work discipline at the same time has a good and significant influence on teacher’s job satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh pada masa pademi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena memenuhi karakteristik penelitian kualitatif, terutama dalam hal pengungkapan data secara mendalam melalui wawancara, observasi dan kajian dokumen terhadap apa yang dilakukan para informan. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa kepala SMA Negeri 6 Palembang sudah melakukan perannya dengan baik sebagai pemimpin dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru SMA Negeri 6 Palembang pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Hambatan yang dialami adalah rendahnya kualitas guru dalam penguasaan dan penerapan berbagai aplikasi pembelajaran jarak jauh yang merbasis IT, masih kurangnya motivasi guru SMA Negeri 6 Palembang untuk menyesaikan tugas kegiatan pembelajaran, lingkungan kerja, dan kelengkapan sarana prasarana. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru antara lain dengan menciptakan suasana yang kondusif, mengeratkan hubungan antar pribadi guru satu sama lainnya, memberikan kesempatan seluas-luasnya kepada guru untuk mengikuti kegiatan pengembangan diri.

Abstract

This study examined the organizational culture and work discipline on teacher’s professionalism. This study belongs to qualitative method. The data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. The results showed organizational culture and work discipline significantly influences the professionalism of SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing teachers both partially and simultaneously. This study reveals the principals to more pay attention the organizational culture and work discipline where they will gain teacher’s professionalism.

Abstract

The results showed organizational culture and teacher’s motivation partially and together have a significant effect on the performance of SMA Negeri 1 Belimbing teachers. This study states to focus the organizational culture and work motivation in order to achieve good teacher’s performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between the principal’s participatory leadership and school culture on the job satisfaction of teachers of SMA Negeri in Prabumulih Timur District. The population of this study were teachers at State Senior High Schools in East Prabumulih District, namely State Senior High School 3 and State Senior High School 7 Prabumulih, totaling 167 teachers and the research sample was taken using the Slovin formula as many as 96 teachers. This type of research uses quantitative research with correlation and quantitative descriptive research methods, while the sampling is done by random sampling. the research instrument uses a questionnaire or questionnaire that has been tested for validity and tested for reliability. The results of the research hypothesis using the regression test, namely simple linear regression and multiple linear regression using SPSS indicate that there is a significant influence between the principal’s participatory leadership on teacher job satisfaction, school culture on teacher job satisfaction in SMA Neger in Prabumulih Timur District with a significant value of p <0 .05, namely 0.000, it can be concluded if the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Then between the principal’s participatory leadership and school culture on the job satisfaction of public high school teachers in East Prabumulih District is at a level of p <0.05 which is equal to 0.000, so the alternative hypothesis is accepted which means that there is a significant influence simultaneously between the principal’s participatory leadership and culture schools on the job satisfaction of public high school teachers in East Prabumulih District.
