Abstract

This research aims to explore the distribution and the implementation of school policies in maintaining school culture for students during the COVID-19 pandemic in private schools in Duri. During the Pandemic Covid 19, it was a terrible situation in teaching and learning implementation process for students, especially in terms of maintaining an effective school culture such as the 5S culture, worship on time, learning discipline, and carrying out 10 student competencies according to JSIT standards, and also providing excellent services to students. The research method was qualitative with interviewing the principal, student representatives, and the student's parents represented by the school committee and document analysis was used in this research. The research data were analyzed with descriptively by describing and explaining the data from the interview findings of the principal, student representatives, teachers and parents of students, policy documents as well as photos and learning media. The finding revealed that the school policiesimplemented in maintaining school culture for students were not optimal even though all students responded to programs that had been compiled and socialized by the school.Teachers of a foundation implemented character-based learning to maintain School Culture that reflects the existence of an applied school culture such as the 5 S, study of the Koran delivered by the teacher at the beginning of learning, and monitoring sheets provided by student representatives who will be responded to by the students' parents then reported to the homeroom teacher every month. In the process of socializing the policy from the principal, it has been going well where the school has conducted outreach to vice principals, teachers and provided a school culture training system to students online and to teachers and explains learning information to parents. However, due to network limitations and network disruption, it becomes an obstacle in the implementation of monitoring school culture. In this case the teacher composed a monitoring questionnaire manual report material and distributes it to the parents of students. Although the student did not get involveda 100% due to several factors such as network disruption, for those parents who works and parents who do not have facilities in the form of an internet package or do not have an Android cellphone, the process of monitoring school culture continues with the help of manual media provided to parents students. It can be concluded that the dissemination of learning policies during the outbreak has been running from the top-down (Top-Down) socialization process, but implementation needs to be improved in terms of service and the school culture evaluation process can be maintained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui kegiatan Kegiatan Bermain Menggambar Dekoratif pada anak TK Dwi Karya Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas secara kolaboratif antara peneliti dengan guru kelas. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 16 anak yang terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 11 anak perempuan. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan motorik halus anak. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik halus anak meningkat setelah adanya tindakan melalui kegiatan Kegiatan Bermain Menggambar Dekoratif. Pada saat dilakukan observasi pratindakan, anak yang kriteria baik hanya 2 anak dengan persentase 12,5%. Setelah dilakukannya tindakan Siklus I meningkat menjadi 6 anak denagn pesentase 37,5% dan pada Siklus II meningkat lebih baik lagi menjadi 9 anak dengan persentase 56,25%. Langkah-langkah yang ditempuh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak adalah guru mempersiapkan media dan mendemonstrasikan cara menempel/kolase. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus naak melalui kegiatan Kegiatan Bermain Menggambar Dekoratif.

Abstract

This research was aimed as follows : to get empirical data and analyze the effects of teaching media and language attitudes on students’ listening skill at junior high schools in Bekasi. This Reseach by using the experimental research method. The result of the research that were: 1). Teaching media give the significant effect to the student’s listening skill. Then, there was a significant difference towards student’s speaking skill in the application of audiovisual and conventional as teaching media. 2). Language attitudes give the significant effect to the student’s listening skill of the ninth grade students of SMPN 6 Bekasi, then the conclusion is that there was a significant different towards student’s listening skill who have positive and negative attitude on learning language. 3). Teaching media and language atttudes give not significant interactive effects to student’s listening skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui bagaimana speaking skill siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK YPLP PGRI Bangkinang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 sebagai subjek penelitian. Subjek dari penelitian ini berjumlah 24 siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Descriptive Research. Design dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptive collaburative yaitu bekerja sama dengan guru bahasa Inggris sebagai kolaborator. Penulis menggunakan 3 instruments dalam penelitian ini yaitu, Observasi, Test, dan questionnaire yang di berikan kepada siswa tentang speaking siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata dalam observasi siswa yang aktif di kelas dimulai dari pembukaan sampai penutup adalah 11 atau 44% siswa. Kemudian, dari hasil test, menunjukan bahwa hanya 4 atau 17% siswa yang mencapai KKM . Selanjutnya, hasil dari questionnaire diketahui bahwa 11 atau 46% siswa menyukai pembelajaran bahasa inggris. Siswa bisa berbicara bahasa inggris dan paham tentang itu. Siswa juga merasa percaya diri ketika berbicara bahasa inggris. Sementara, 13 or 54% siswa tidak menyukai pembelajaran bahasa inggris tentang speaking. Siswa tidak bisa berbicara bahasa inggris dan kurang paham tentang apa yang dia bicarakan. Siswa juga merasa malu ketika berbicara bahasa inggris. Itu artinya, kemampuan berbicara siswa di kelas ini adalah rendah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui teknik pemberian hadiah di kelas IV SDN 008 Langgini Kabupaten Kampar, yang dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah apakah melalui teknik pemberian hadiah dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV SDN 008 Langgini Kabupaten Kampar? Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV tahun pelajaran 2015-2016 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 35 orang, yang terdiri dari 20 orang laki-laki, dan 15 orang perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan penerapan teknik pemberian hadiah di siklus I masih banyak yang harus diperbaiki pada siklus II, sedangkan pada siklus II guru dan siswa telah melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dengan sangat baik, tahap demi tahap penerapan teknik Ego-Involvement dapat terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Meningkatnya aktivitas guru dan siswa pada siklus II disebabkan guru telah menindaklanjuti kekurangan-kekurangan yang terjadi pada siklus sebelumnya dan memperbaikinya dengan pada siklus II. Sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I masih tergolong rendah, walaupun terjadi peningkatkan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dari pra tindakan. Di siklus II diketahui bahwa: 1) siswa hadir dengan tepat waktu, dan tidak pernah keluar masuk kelas jika tidak terlalu penting. 2) Siswa sangat termotivasi untuk menjawab pertanyaan guru, walaupun jawaban mereka salah. 3) siswa sangat berkosentrasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, karena siswa mampu mengulang penjelasan guru yang telah disampaikan.

Abstract

This research was carried out based on researcher’s preliminary study at State Senior High School 2 Kuok at tent grade in academic year 2016/2017. In this research, the researcher use quasi experimental research with post test only. The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the use Hero Quest Strategy in teaching writing skills on recount text. The researcher took two classes as the samples were class X1 as thecontrol group and class X 2 as the experimental class. Total sampling technique was used by the researcher to take the sample. The technique of data collection was test. Meanwhile, to analyze the data, the researcher used Independent Samples T-test formula by using SPSS 20.0 Version. Based on the analysis data the result showed that the average student post test in experimental class were 72.47, and in control class has average students post test were 54.31.The researcher used T-test, the result of the average test calculating (T-test) 0.000. It was proved that this research was 0.000 <0.05. Finally, the researcher concluded that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. After calculating effect size, it was obtained that there was a small effect size (0.025). It was conclude that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, there is a significant effect of using hero quest strategy on students writing skill of recount text of the tenth grade at state senior school 2 Kuok.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kognitif anak. Hal ini diduga disebabkan oleh kurang menariknya media yang digunakan oleh guru Dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui permainan Ludo di paud Kijang rejo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan pembelajaran secara kelompok dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik Paud Kijang Rejo pada kelompok usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 19 peserta didik pada semester II tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing&nbsp; 3 kali hasil pertemuan dilaksanakan di PAUD Kijang Rejo kecamatan Tapung kabupaten Kampar. Teknik pengumpulan data&nbsp; menggunaka observasi. Meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui permainan tradisional ludo, Sebelum dilakukan penelitian dengan persentase 31,9%, siklus I mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase 58,7%, dan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan lagi dengan persentase 77,1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui permainan tradisional Ludo dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini 5-6 tahun dalam aspek mengenal bentuk geometri, mengenal bilangan, dan mengelompokkan warna. &nbsp;

Abstract

Think, pair, share strategy is one of speaking strategies that can be used by the teacher. this strategy is a great way to help the students to figure out how to speak english well. it gives students to opportunity to discuss their ideas. it is important because students start to construct their knowledge in discussions and also to find out what they do and do to know. this research was an experimental research. it was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Koto Kampar hulu which located on kampar regency. the population of this research is the second year students of sma negeri 1 koto kampar hulu. the sample of this research are class xi. 1 as experimental group which consits of 23 students and class xi. 2 consist of 19students as control group. this research focuses of think, pair, share strategy on students speaking ability. The instrument of this research is speaking test in from of speaking performance. the results of these tests were taken as data of this research. the data collection technique that writer used to analyzed data is t-test.

Abstract

Learning method inovation will influence learning media used and it is hoped to improve learning qualities. This research was done to know the students activities in learning critical listening by using interactive multimedia and to measure the effetiveness of that multimedia in improving students listening skill. The data was taken through test, observation, and interview. The result of the research were (1) the students created active, creative, and effective learning process independenly in measuring and developing each step of listening learning model. (2) Interactive multimedia was effective learning media to improve students listening skill. It could be seen from improving listening skill in limited test at experiment class was 42,98%, whereas at control class the rise was only 7,36%. For extensive test, the improving of listening skill at experiment class was 33,88%, while control class was only up at 2,62%. . (3) Learning media with interactive multimedia can improve students listening skill than audio learning media because listening is not only aural aspet but also visual aspect integrated with multimedia.
