Abstract

Abstract. The role of the Islamic Religious Education teacher in learning is very important, especially in instilling students’ religious values. With the application of the religious culture of students in daily life at school, it will have a major influence on the attitudes and practice of students’ religious teachings in their daily life. In general, this study aims to describe the efforts of Islamic Education teachers in improving religious culture at SMPN 44 Bandung. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, constraints, and outcomes of the religious culture program at SMPN 44 Bandung. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the PAI teacher in improving religious culture at SMPN 44 Bandung can be said to be quite successful, especially in changing the character or behavior of students. Abstrak. Peranan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pembelajaran sangat penting, khususnya dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai religius siswa. Dengan diterapkannya budaya religius siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah akan besar pengaruhnya terhadap sikap dan pengamalan ajaran agama siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya  guru PAI dalam meningkatkan budaya religius di SMPN 44 Bandung. Secara khusus tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan  perencanaan, pelaksanaan, kendala, dan hasil dari program budaya religius di SMPN 44 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI dalam meningkatkan budaya religius di SMPN 44 Bandung ini bias dikatakan cukup berhasil, khususnya dalam merubah akhlak atau perilaku siswa yang sebelumnya kurang baik menjadi baik.  Kata kunci: Upaya Guru PAI, Budaya Religius, PAI di Sekolah

Abstract

Sejarah terbentuknya mazhab fikih, ilmu kalam, dan tasawuf dalam Islam sangat penting untuk dibahas, serta memiliki keunggulan dari segi menambah wawasan keislaman dalam menghadapi perbedaan di tengah-tengah umat. Tujuan pembahasan ini dalam rangka menganalisis fakta dan perkembangan problematika sejarah terbentuknya mazhab fikih, ilmu kalam, dan tasawuf serta implikasinya dalam membangun ukhuwah Islamiyah. Pembahasan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, kelahiran mazhab fikih dengan pola dan karakteristik tersendiri ini, tak pelak lagi menimbulkan berbagai perbedaan pendapat dan beragamnya produk hukum yang dihasilkan. Para tokoh imam mazhab seperti Imam Hanafi, Imam Maliki, Imam Syafi’i, dan Imam Hambali, masing-masing menawarkan teori, kaidah-kaidah ijtihad dan kerangka metodologi yang menjadi pijakan mereka dalam menetapkan hukum. Adapun sejarah ilmu kalam, berawal dari peristiwa tahkim yang kemudian menimbulkan tiga aliran teologi dalam Islam, yaitu aliran Khawarij, Murji’ah, dan Mu’tazilah. Sementara, sejarah perkataan tasawuf baru dikenal setelah abad ketiga hijriah, tetapi kandungan ajaran tasawuf sudah ada pada diri Nabi dan para sahabat beliau. Walaupun demikian, pendapat ulama tentang sejarah pendirian gerakan tasawuf masih berbeda-beda. Implikasnya, pembahasan ini akan semakin membuka wawasan pemikiran dan akan lebih bijak lagi ketika menghadapi perbedaan di tengah-tengah umat demi terwujudnya ukhuwah Islamiyah.The history of the establishment of fikih, kalam, and Sufism schools of thought (mazhab) in Islam is considered as a crucial thing to discuss and it in fact has advantages in terms of increasing Islamic insight in facing the diversity among people. The purpose of this present study is to analyze the facts and the problem development of the history of the establishment of fikih, kalam, and sufism schools of thought and their implications in building ukhuwah Islamiyah. This present study employed a qualitative approach and literature study methods. Based on the results of the discussion, the establishment of fikih school of thought along with its own patterns and characteristics inevitably led to various differences of opinion and the variety of legal products. The schools of thought (Imam mazhab) figures such as Imam Hanafi, Imam Maliki, Imam Syafi’i, and Imam Hambali, postulated their own theories, rules of ijtihad and methodological frameworks as the basis in establishing a binding ruling of religious matters. In particular, as for the history of the science of kalam, it was started in the time of tahkim event which later led to the three schools of theology in Islam covering the Khawarij, Murji'ah, and Mu’tazilah. On the other hand, the history of Sufism was only known after the third century of hijriah, even though the teaching of Sufism was already embodied in the Prophet and his companions. Nevertheless, the Islamic scholars had different opinions regarding the history of the establishment of Sufism movements. In fact, the implication of this study will open up more insight and it will promote a wise attitude in facing different opinions in the midst of the people in order to realize Islamic Unity (ukhuwah Islamiyah).

Abstract

Manusia memiliki cara yang berbeda dalam menanggapi permasalahan hidup, tidak jarang mereka melakukan kesalahan karena tidak mampu mengelola emosi. Kajian ini terinspirasi dari kehebatan Rasulullah saw. saat dihadapkan pada permasalahan, yang mana bagi manusia biasa, hal tersebut bisa mendatangkan perasaan menderita. Namun tidak semua pengikutnya bisa memunculkan semangat yang sama dalam menghilangkan perasaan menderita yang dialami, maka muncul pertanyaan mengenai, apakah sebagian besar umat terdahulu juga merasa menderita ketika mendapatkan permasalahan hidup?, dan bagaimana Alquran memiliki penjelasan dalam memaknai derajat manusia untuk menanggapi penderitaan yang manusia dapatkan?. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan Tafsir Tematik dan dibantu metode Quran Digital, dengan menelusuri kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan kajian ini, beserta devariatnya. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa baik dulu maupun sekarang, dibutuhkan kemauan dan ilmu dalam mengelola emosi, tingginya derajat seseorang tidak sebatas dia cukup beriman saja, tetapi diperlukan amal yang lebih besar, serta dibarengi kerelaan saat dihadapkan pada situasi sulit yang membuatnya menderita. Bahkan derajat seseorang bisa saja menurun saat ia tidak bersabar menjalani penderitaan, namun saat ia sadar atas kesalahannya tersebut Allah masih terus memberikan kesempatan bagi manusia yang mau terus belajar. Kajian ini memiliki implikasi, yakni bisa berdampak dalam membangun persepsi baru seseorang dalam memaknai permasalahan di sekitar ruang lingkup kehidupannya.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi itu berlangsung selama proses belajar mengajar yang diselenggarakan oleh pendidik, dan peserta didik tidak hanya sebagai objek pendidikan tetapi juga sebagai subjek. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi literatur. Dalam dunia pendidikan, pembelajaran dapat memberdayakan peserta didik menjadi manusia yang mandiri dan mampu merebut berbagai peluang dalam kehidupan saat ini yang sangat kompetitif. Hal ini jika dikaitkan dengan pedagogik spiritual, hasil yang diharapkan sebagai bahan evaluasi oleh seorang pendidik adalah ketika peserta didiknya menanamkan sifat-sifat ketauhidan didalam dirinya sehingga menjadi khalifah Allah yang amanah di muka bumi dengan mengembangkan segala potensi yang ada dalam dirinya tersebut. Keberhasilan dari proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi tersebut, tidak akan terlepas dari komponen-komponen penunjang di dunia pendidikan yakni komponen visi, misi, tujuan, kurikulum, proses belajar mengajar, pendidik, peserta didik, manajemen pengelolaan, pembiayaan, sarana prasarana, lingkungan, jaringan komunikasi dan kerja sama, serta evaluasi pendidikan dan dasar strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan

Abstract

The purpose of this present study is to identify the Tyler curriculum development model and its implications in learning Islamic Religious Education in school.  This study employed a qualitative approach and literature study method. The results of this study showed that the conditions as the time progresses undeniably were in demands of curriculum development. The Tyler curriculum model had its own strengths and weaknesses. In fact, the model only emphasized the aspect of objectives, regardless of the ongoing educational process. Therefore, as an implication, it is obvious that the Tyler curriculum development model needed to be developed and it in fact should be viewed from various aspects, especially with regard to Islamic Religious Education which had its own distinguishing characteristics in establishing the values of faith, piety, and noble character. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education teaching and learning processes undeniably should focus on the ongoing educational processes, not merely to the evaluation held at the end of the learning process.

Abstract

Religious tolerance is one of the competencies listed in Indonesia higher education curriculum. There is a need to design learning model that can increase students’ religious tolerance in higher education. This study aims to produce a learning model for religious education which is based on the Quran to nurture students’ religious tolerance. To answer the problem of this study, a quasi-R&D model was chosen. This research is multi-years. In the first year (2019) a learning model was tested. The research findings showed that the lecture model was carried out in six stages: describing the Qur'anic view of the faith of adherents of non-Islamic religions; reminding students of the dangers of takfir; describing students’ common mistakes in assessing other religions; describing the main teachings of other religions correctly; searching for common denominator between Islam and other religions; and developing inclusive attitudes and religious tolerance. After being tested, this learning model has proven to be effective in increasing students' understanding of the basic teachings of other religions, in understanding of the basic teachings of Islam, in developing more robust understanding in their Islamic aqeedah, and being more inclusive and tolerant to adherents of other religions.

This study applied qualitative approach and literature study methods. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum is in line with the times. The curriculum also develops to meet the demands of current education systems. To achieve a goal in the educational process requires a design in implementation. Therefore, the curriculum is a design in which there are systematically designed programs to set a goal. It needs to be selected for its material and developed according to the needs and competencies of students and has use of value for students. Systematically, this paper implies that it tries to provide an overview of the Saylor, Alexander, and Lewis curriculum models and can guide carrying out activities and their implementation in Islamic education.
