Many exposure of foreign languages, in this case is English, in daily communication could give significant impact towards oral and written language to the Indonesian speech community. That phenomenon was the result of language contact which is widespread in this digital era. This research aimed to identify English vocabulary which found in the caption on social media Instagram account of Ministry and Non-Ministerial Government Agencies in Indonesia. Data in this research were the English loanwords vocabulary and interference which are obtained by applying observation method with screenshot and note taking technique. Data source used is the social media Instagram account of Ministry and Non-Ministerial Government Agencies in Indonesia, such as @bekrafid, @kemdikbud.ri, @ristekdikti, @kemlu.ri, @kemenpar, @infobmkg, and @kemenhub151. The results found of this study were loanwords, loanblends, and loanshifts, also phonological, morphological, and lexical interference.

The pluralities of French can be found in both writing and oral . In writing, there are the additions of -x and -s, or the others variations which depend on the rules of nouns and adjectives . There are the concordances between nouns and adjectives or subjects and predicates in past tense, passive voice, and complete sentence with que . On the other hand, in oral, there are the pronunciations of the articles of nouns and liaison . The pluralities in Indonesian are in repetitions of nouns, verbs, adjectives, the numeral, and the adjectives that have plural meaning .

The inclusion of French loanwords in the Indonesian language cannot be separated from the fact that there have been contacts between the two languages. In the process the French words underwent interference due to the different systems between the Indonesian Language and French, such as phonetic and ortographic system, in addition to the different structure of word formation of both languages. This phenomenon is closely linked to the status of French loanwords in the Indonesian language, whether they are interference or already integrated with the Indonesian language. In light of this, this study aims to examine whether French loanwords in the Indonesian Language are in the state of interference or already have integration status. This Study shows that the majority of French loanwords in Indonesian are still in the forms of interference. This is because these loanwords are still in their original forms – French words. Other French loanwords are already integrated with the Indonesian language, especially those having undergone consistent adjustments through their spoken and written use.

Onomatopoeia is a linguistic term that can be interpreted as a vocabulary that is formed based on the sound or sounds issued by the word. Each language has a distinctive onomatopoeia that is adjusted with the socio-cultural conditions of the speakers of that language. This affects the onomatopoeic translation due to cultural differences between the source language and the target language, such as from English into Indonesian. This study aims to analyze the techniques used in onomatopoeic translation in the trilogy novel The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins translated into Indonesian by Desy Rachmaindah. In analyzing the data, the writer uses the translation technique of Molina & Albir (2002). The results of this study indicate that onomatopoeic translation used 9 translation techniques and literal translation techniques dominated because it was translated according to the meaning based on the dictionary.

Kehidupan perempuan yang dianggap bergantung kepada laki-laki membuat perempuan diperlakukan semena-mena dan tidak adil. Claudine en Menage (1902) adalah novel karya seorang pengarang Prancis, Colette. Novel ini menceritakan tentang seorang perempuan yang hidup sebagai istri yang mengalami eksploitasi berlapis karena ras, budaya, dan seksualitasnya yang dilakukan oleh orang-orang terdekatnya, yaitu ayah dan suaminya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi ideologi dari novel terkait dengan perlawanan perempuan terhadap eksploitasi laki-laki dan mengajak pembaca untuk membuka paradigma baru yang lebih luas mengenai perlawanan perempuan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori perlawanan perempuan dari Hélène Cixous, yang berpendapat bahwa perempuan dengan keahlian dan kemampuannya menulis mampu keluar dari belenggu penindasan yang mereka alami. Teori interseksionalitas dari Kimberlé Crénshaw, yang menerangkan tentang diskriminasi ganda perempuan yang bersifat interseksional yang memuat aspek ras, budaya, agama, serta seksualitas juga dijadikan lensa pendukung di dalam tulisan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi cerita dengan fokus pengumpulan data dan analisis data pada kemampuan perempuan keluar dari belenggu patriarki dan mampu menjadi perempuan independen dengan kemampuan yang mereka miliki.Women's lives are seen as dependent on men, and as such they are prone to abuse and unfair treatment. Claudine en Menage (1902) is a novel written by the French author Colette, which narrates a woman's experiences with racial, cultural, and sexual exploitation at the hands of her father and husband. This study seeks to explore the novel's ideology, as related to its depiction of women's resistance to male exploitation and its invitation to readers to explore broader paradigms about said resistance. This study employs Hélène Cixous' theory of struggle, which holds that women are able to penetrate the barriers of oppression through their writing skills and abilities, and Kimberlé Crénshaw's theory of intersectionality, which holds that sexual discrimination intersects with racial, cultural, religious, and sexuality discrimination. This study uses content analysis methode, with a particular focus on collecting and analyzing data that depict women's ability to shatter barriers of patriarchy and become independent through their own abilities.

Abstract. Suicide is one of the causes of death that occurs in a global scope but always causes divisive perspectives in various circles of society. For most people, suicide is a taboo topic, but not for other groups. The film Monsieur Lazhar (2011) is a film that shows the different perspectives between different age groups, namely the adult age group and the young age group, on a suicide that occurred at an elementary school in Montreal, Canada. This study aims at determining the different perspectives of the two different parties on suicide and the reasons for these differences in views. Pierre Bourdieu’s Champ de Force theory is the lens used in this research. The difference in perspective is influenced by the disposition system which Bourdieu calls the habitus. Habitus operates in a realm (champ). In the film, the domain in question is school. Meanwhile, Durkheim’s theory of suicide was chosen to determine the relationship of social problems to suicide. The method used in this research is content analysis. The data used are the chronological text of the scenes and the transcript of the conversations from the film. From the research, it was found that the school, which is the adult age group, has a counter and stigmatic view of suicide, reinforced by perceptions of psychological problems and social taboos. Meanwhile, students, who are in the young age group, tend to view suicide as a problem related to personal aspects and personal experiences so that they do not have a judgmental attitude like the school. Learning French for residents and homestay employees in the homestay village, Dusun Ngaran, DesaBorobudur is carried out by the French Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences,UGM as a community service activity in 2018. Tis learning is a follow-up of French languagetraining for homestay owners who have done in 2017. Using a tutorial system in small groups andcommunicative approaches, residents and homestay employees have been able and feel confdent ingreeting, oﬀering, explaining, giving choices, and other verbal activities related to guests or potentialguests in French (francophones) through simple communicative expressions. Simple French languageskills are a powerful capital to attract more francophones guests to visit the homestays. Te supportof French Literature Study Program on tourism development in Borobudur Homestay Village wasalso given in the form of assistance in promoting the region's tourism potential through refnementof French language pages and brochures. Tus, francophones tourists can fnd out more easily andmore quickly their whereabouts and get to know the area in order to attract more tourists to stay ata homestay. Other results of this service are French language teaching materials in the form of textand documentary videos.

French for tourism training especially for tourism practitians and homestay owners is a community service program carried out by French Literature program in Samiran Tourism Village, Selo, Boyolali. The program involved all the French Literature’s civitas academica, lecturers, students, administrative staff and the community of Samiran. This program aims to practice practical French for tourism and to translate the tourism village website into French for expanding the marketing network for francophone community. In the future, this program can be expected to increase the welfare of the community by the presence of foreign tourists especially from francophone countries.----------------------------------------------------------------Program pembelajaran bahasa Prancis bagi pelaku pariwisata merupakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Program Studi Sastra Prancis FIB UGM di Desa Samiran, Kecamatan Selo, Kabupaten Boyolali. Kegiatan ini melibatkan civitas academica, yaitu dosen, mahasiswa, dan staf administrasi di lingkungan Prodi Sastra Prancis dan masyarakat Desa Samiran, Kecamatan Selo, Boyolali. Kegiatan ini bertujuan melatih bahasa Prancis praktis bagi pelaku pariwisata dan penerjemahan website desa wisata ke dalam bahasa Prancis untuk memperluas jaringan pemasaran bagi masyarakat francophone. Kegiatan ini ke depan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa tersebut dengan hadirnya wisatawan mancanegara, terutama dari negara-negara francophone.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of human life, including to the fashion sector. The negative impact of the pandemic has disrupted the business operations of MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) players, that exports cannot be carried out so that production does not run properly. This program, in collaboration with FFTI (Forum Fair Trade Indonesia) and IFC (Indonesian Fashion Chamber), aims to assist MSMEs in preparing products that can be made and marketed during the new normal in the local and global markets. The online seminar, which was held twice by presenting competent speakers, is expected to be able to help as well as open the insights of MSMEs in the fashion sector to be ready to run their business during the pandemic and new normal by continuing to be creative and think positively.====Pandemi Covid-19 telah berpengaruh terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam bidang fashion. Dampak negatif pandemi mengganggu jalannya bisnis para pelaku UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah), di antaranya ekspor tidak bisa dilakukan sehingga produksi tidak berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Program yang bekerja sama dengan FFTI (Forum Fair Trade Indonesia) dan IFC (Indonesian Fashion Chamber) ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi UMKM dalam menyiapkan produk yang dapat dibuat dan dipasarkan selama masa new normal di pasar lokal dan pasar global. Seminar daring yang dilakukan sebanyak dua kali dengan menghadirkan narasumber yang kompeten diharapkan dapat membantu sekaligus membuka wawasan para pelaku UMKM bidang fashion untuk siap menjalani bisnisnya pada masa pandemi dan new normal dengan terus berkreasi serta berpikir positif.

This research discusses the speech act equivalence involves in audiovisual translation of English-Indonesian subtitle on Enola Holmes Netflix movie. Since pragmatic equivalence is consider as to be the suitable one to be analyzed in Audiovisual Translation (AVT), this research look closely in case of translating the subtitle especially the movie with genre of adventure and mystery. This audiovisual translation research employs qualitative descriptive with the research design of content analysis. Also, there is involvement of analysis contrastive to be able to figure out the speech act equivalency. The data is taken from the subtitle Netflix movie of Enola Holmes. According to the result of this research, it shows some circumstances firstly the ST that is translated equivalent according to the speech act type can present the message equivalent with the context of the story. Secondly, the translation that cannot reach the speech act equivalency is less able to bring the context of the story into the TT translation. In addition, the implication exists in utterances present in ST can be conveyed in the TT if the speech act equivalency is achieved. Otherwise, there are also found that implication which exists in utterances present in ST cannot be portrayed in TT if the speech act equivalency cannot be achieved.
