Abstract

Desa Dermo adalah salah satu dari 14 desa yang ada di kecamatan mojoroto dengan Luas 5.005 M2 dengan jumlah penduduk sebanyak 5.500 jiwa. Desa Dermo berbatasan langsung dengan desa ngonggot disebelah utara, desa Mrican disebelah selatan, desa Maron disebelah Barat dan Desa Jongbiru disebelah Timur. Desa ini sebagian warganya hidup dari pertanian, kerajinan dan industri batik. Desa Dermo merupakan desa unggulan penghasil batik. Industri Batik merupakan industri rumah tangga yang mampu menopang sebagian penduduk desa Dermo.Permasalahan limbah batik akan menimbulkan permasalahan permasalahan lainnya yaitu Ekologi, Kesehatan, Sosial, bahkan Ekonomi. Limbah batik yang dibuang terbukti merusak ekologi lingkungan, menimbulkan beberapa penyakit gatal pada masyarakat sekitar, serta menimbulkan gesekan pada masyarakat. Masalah limbah batik sampai sekarang belum terselesaikan dengan baik dikarenakan harga pengolah limbah yang mahal bagi masyarakat.Solusi utama yang diberikan untuk mitra adalah Alat pengolah limbah batik yang ramah lingkungan, hemat energy, murah, dan mudah pengoperasiaannya. Penggunaan metode Elektro- Mekanik Technology merupan pilihan yang tepat untuk pengolahan limbah sekala UMKM. Mekanisme Technologi ini yaitu dengan memanfaatkan reaksi Anoda dan Katoda untuk menggumpalkan limbah yang ada dan kemudian menyaringnya secara mekanik.

Abstract

Batik products provide the second largest contribution of 20-30 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in the creative economy sub-sector. In the sub-district of Dermo, some of its residents live from agriculture, handicrafts and the batik industry. From the team's observations, it was found that Dermo Village was the leading village for batik producing. The Batik industry is a home industry that can support a portion of the population of the Dermo Village. The development of batik is very much influenced by the design abilities of the batik makers. The batik groups in Kelurahan Dermo are mostly housewives, so the problem of design is a problem. But no less creative and innovative, handicrafts have become one of the largest creative industries in Indonesia, although they are not as sophisticated as today's electronic devices or gadgets, handicrafts are still one of the alternatives or choices of society to satisfy and please their hearts. Moreover, Indonesian handicrafts are truly unique and different, supported by many natural resources such as rattan, wood, bamboo and human resources in Indonesia, Indonesian people are freer in producing and creating handicraft products in any form, so that businesses like this can has progressed very rapidly and made Indonesian handicrafts can be shipped abroad. However, the time needed to make batik is very long, especially if people order a special motif that does not have many guidelines or examples of batik designs. So this makes batik craftsmen reluctant to accept large quantities of typical batik orders. These can reduce the confidence of consumers who want to make typical batik in large quantities. For this reason, the team tried to develop batik designs with distinctive motifs which were manifested in the form of prints. From the design development that has been done by making batik stamps with typical motifs of the City of Kediri, this is able to reduce the time for batik production and make batik craftsmen more confident in receiving orders in larger quantities than before. So that with this motif stamp, the batik production of Dermo Kediri Village can increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of microwave oven heating power on pineapple leaf fiber on the tensile strength of epoxy matrix composites. In this study, the composite reinforcement used was pineapple leaf fiber without treatment and pineapple leaf fiber heated using a microwave oven with 250W, 440W, and 715W power for 15 minutes after being given 6% NaOH immersion for 2 hours. The composite manufacturing method used is the vacuum assisted resin infusion method. Tensile testing was carried out on pineapple leaf fiber reinforced composite specimens according to ASTM D638-01 standard. The results showed that the higher the heating power of the microwave oven, the higher the tensile strength of the composite due to the better adhesion between the fiber and the epoxy matrix. The highest tensile strength was obtained in the pineapple leaf fiber-reinforced composite with a heating power of 715W of 147.9 MPa, then heating with a power of 440W of 136.6 MPa, heating with a power of 250W of 125.5 MPa, and the lowest on specimens of pineapple leaf fiber composite without treatment of 107.1 MPa. In addition, the SEM results also show that the surface roughness of the fiber increases with the addition of heating power and the wettability results also show that the wettability between the fiber and the epoxy matrix is ​​getting better as the heating power of the microwave oven increases.

Abstract

Program doktor mengabdi dilaksanakan di Dusun Sumberwangi, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang. Tujuan dari kegiatan doktor mengabdi ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan memperkuat jejaring pemasaran produk turunan batik melalui pemasaran online dan kegiatan expo. Kelompok batik Dusun Sumberwangi memiliki permasalahan yaitu permintaan produk turunan batik yang masih stagnan dan belum adanya penerapan pemasaran produk. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi antara tim doktor mengabdi dapat diindikasikan bahwa kelompok batik belum memaksimalkan kegiatan promosi untuk memasarkan produk turunan batik. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan kelompok batik Dusun Sumberwangi yaitu dilakukan pendampingan untuk kegiatan promosi dan mendaftarkan serta memasarkan produk-produk turunan batik melalui media online serta mengikuti kegiatan expo. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah produk turunan batik Dusun Sumberwangi semakin dikenal oleh masyarakat umum, kelompok batik Sumberwangi mampu mengelola berbagai metode promosi berbasis online dan mampu memanfaatkannya untuk peningkatan penjualan dan produksi produk turunan batik.

Abstract

Ketahanan pangan merupakan program yang telah di canangkan oleh pemerintah. Dalam pelaksanaanya pembuatan wilayah dengan ketahanan dapat diintegrasikan dengan wilayah penopang ekonomi lainnya seperti daerah wisata sehingga akan didapat sentra Ekonomi yang mampu dijadikan sebagai sumber penghasilan warga setempat. Desa Kebontunggul merupakan desa yang ada di Kecamatan Gondang Kabupaten Mojokerto. Melalu program Matching Fund Kedaireka yang didanai oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Universitas Brawijaya mengadakan program hilirisasi Teknologi berupa pengembangan Kawasan Peternakan sapi perahyang diintegrasikan dengan Kawasan wisata yang ada di daerah setempat yaitu Lembah Mbendcirang yang sebelumnya sudah beroprasi. Tim Matching Fund Universitas Brawijaya mengadakan pemetaan wilayah di desa Kebontunggul terkait potensi lokasi sapi perah, sumberdaya paka, serta akses lokasi integrasi dengan lembah mbencirang. Selanjutnya dengan bantuan drone dan satelit Map Tim Martching Fund Universitas Brawijaya Melakukan pembuatan Materplan dimana dalam pembuatannya juga melibatkan masyarakat setempat sehingga sesuai dengan harapan masyarakat namun tetap memegang aspek Teknolologi yang dikembangkan oleh Universitas Brawiajaya. Selin itu juga dilakukan pelatihan budidaya sapi perah yang dilakukan oleh Tim Matching fund 2022 Universitas Brawijaya

Abstract

Darul Muttaqin Islamic boarding school product production activities are very dependent on the equipment that supports the production of these products. By increasing the reliability of production equipment, production from Islamic boarding schools will increase so that the economic level can be achieved well. Production equipment whose reliability is maintained by maintenance includes chili sauce making machines, tempe chips making machines, transportation equipment and other workshop equipment. The maintenance process is carried out by starting with mapping damage data for each component of the existing equipment. This data is taken from several sources that are close to or equal to existing treatments. From the existing analysis, several care and maintenance processes need to be carried out on certain parts of the equipment. The problem found by the Darul Mutaqin Islamic boarding school is a lack of knowledge regarding the proper maintenance process. This maintenance is carried out by the students of the Darul Mutaqin Islamic boarding school with direction and supervision from the service team from the Mechanical Engineering department of Brawijaya University. This activity will result in an increase in students' skills in the field of maintenance.
