Abstract

ABSTRAKRevitalisasi adalah proses, cara, perbuatan menghidupkan atau menggiatkan kembali. Dalam konteks ini, revitalisasi pertanian mengandung arti sebagai kesadaran untuk menempatkan kembali arti penting sektor pertanian secara proporsional dan kontekstual, dalam arti menyegarkan kembali vitalitas, memberdayakan kemampuan dan meningkatkan kinerja pertanian dalam pembangunan dengan tanpa mengabaikan sektor lainnya. Pemerintah mewujudkan hal ini dengan mendorong sektor pertanian kopi sebagai salah satu penguat daya saing Indonesia di pasar internasional. Berbicara kopi di Indonesia tidak akan pernah bisa lepas dari sejarah kopi di Jawa. Kopi Jawa (java coffee) yang kemudian sering disebut ini merupakan salah satu cikal bakal dikenalnya Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara terbesar penghasil kopi di dunia. Berdasar uraian tersebut, web series dipilih sebagai media ungkap dalam upaya peran serta memajukan para petani kopi menuju kemandirian serta kedaulatan ekonomi menuju desa berdaya melalui potensi masyarakat desa. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam perancangan web series ini. Hal ini dilakukan guna mendapatkan data-data penting secara substantif dalam penyusunan unsur naratif (cerita) berkenaan dengan Kopi Kaliangkrik di Desa Ngawonggo, Kecamatan Kaliangkrik, Kabupaten Magelang, Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Perancangan web series ini bertujuan mewujudkan film dokumenter sebagai salah satu media revitalisasi kopi, terutama kopi jawa. Hasil yang dicapai dalam perancangan web series ini adalah peran serta media sebagai salah satu sarana dalam upaya peningkatan nilai tambah (creating value add) produk pertanian kopi di Indonesia.    Revitalization is the process, method, act of reviving or activating it. In this context, agricultural revitalization implies awareness to place proportional and contextual importance in the agricultural sector, in the sense of refreshing vitality, empowering capabilities and improving agricultural performance in development without ignoring other sectors. The government makes this happen by encouraging the coffee agriculture sector as one of the strengthens of Indonesia's competitiveness in the international market. Talking about coffee in Indonesia can never be separated from the history of coffee in Java. Java coffee (java coffee) which is then often referred to is one of the forerunners of the recognition of Indonesia as one of the largest coffee producing countries in the world. Based on this description, the web series was chosen as a media to express in an effort to participate in advancing coffee farmers towards independence and economic sovereignty towards empowered villages through the potential of rural communities. Qualitative descriptive methods are used in designing this web series. This was done in order to obtain important data substantively in the compilation of narrative elements (stories) regarding Kaliangkrik Coffee in Ngawonggo Village, Kaliangkrik District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. The web series design aims to realize documentary films as one of the coffee revitalization media, especially Java coffee. The results achieved in the design of this web series are the role of the media as one of the means in an effort to increase the added value (creating value add) of coffee agricultural products in Indonesia.

Abstract

Semarang city has twice the city branding efforts. Some studies suggest that both efforts have failedbecause they are not based on research and benchmarking optimally. This study will try to do theexperimental creation of city branding to Semarang with the involvement of public participation throughvisualization method with aids such as visual recording production by targeting Simpanglima regionas an area that is considered to represent the city of Semarang. Visual recording media is expected tobe a help to uncover the public memory of Semarang and their daily practices against Simpanglimaand the surrounding regions in which it is expected to appear visions that can form the key words indetermining city branding that can represent the visions of its citizens.Keywords: Visual Media, visualization, city branding and participation

Abstract

Old building representing the indies colony was abandoned in several heritage districtsin Yogyakarta. The Government did not conduct a serious plan and act to conservethe heritage buildings based on the rules of heritage law. The old buildings in Yogyakartahas been mostly over 50th years old, and they have been considered as the heritagebuildings based on the Yogyakarta’s history and the unique architecture. The Governmentand society should be concerned to conserve the heritage buildings in the self ways orcollaborate. This documentary video is one of the efforts of conserving the heritagebuilding in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Today the musical theatre is a new performance art that was created by famous Indonesian filmmakers. Convensional elements in the film production combine with visual display on the musical performances creatively and elegantly. The drastically change in film became a medium of show, provide a change not merely in terms of visual-physical, but more change in the context, especially meaning, the message will be delivered by the musical art. It is  a new phenomenon in the Indonesian entertainment.Keywords: performing arts, musical theatre, post-cinema.

Abstract

The condition of disabled artists in Indonesia has a variety of artistic fields in their activities. They pursue several fields of art such as music, painting, literature, theater, and dance. The variety of disabilities they experience also varies. They use all their abilities to keep working. The works of artists with disabilities in Indonesia (in general) show the presence of their experience as people with disabilities and some are purely artistic works without showing that a creator is a person with a disability. Kusdono Rastika is one of the many Cirebon glass painters. Glass painting is unique in its way, both the media used and the technique. Unfortunately, from this uniqueness, the fate of current glass painting artists like Kusdono Rastika can be said to be far from the "beauty reflection" of the colors emitted. The lack of appreciation in the form of exhibitions of works and media exposure, makes Kusdono and his glass paintings seem to have “lost their luster” in the repertoire of contemporary Indonesian painting. Qualitative descriptive methods in the form of notes, documentation, and archiving of Kusdono Rastika's story can be used as an example of how determination and struggle to advance glass painting towards independence and economic sovereignty can be seen through this expository style documentary.

Abstract

Daerah perbatasan memiliki potensi terjadinya kerentanan masyarakat penerima manfaat dari Diskriminasi terhadap penyandang disabilitas merupakan hal yang masih kerap terjadi di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu diperlukan advokasi dan edukasi untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut. Salah satu faktor yang memungkinkan untuk mendorong perubahan pandangan masyarakat terhadap penyandang disabilitas adalah adanya informasi memadai, terutama narasi yang dimunculkan dari perspektif diri para penyandang disabilitas itu sendiri. Membangun narasi dan citra tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui berbagai media, salah satunya adalah dengan visual story telling berupa foto dan video, seperti yang dilakukan oleh siswa Tuli dari SLB YKK Pacitan. Melalui pelatihan yang diberikan oleh dosen dari Jurusan Media Rekam Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta, siswa Tuli belajar untuk memotret dan merekam video. Para siswa Tuli tersebut dapat “bercerita” tentang diri sendiri menggunakan serangkaian foto dan video.Siswa Tuli melalukan praktik mulai dari menyusun cerita, mengatur angle dan shoot, komposisi, mengarahkan, hingga akhirnya berhasil membuat karya visual story telling yang layak ditayangkan. Hasil dari foto dan video tersebut nantinya dapat disebarluaskan ke publik melalui berbagai media.
