Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to improve the achievement of learners on termochemistry subject in XI MIA class SMAN 1 Tanjungpinang. This research was a kind of experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 1 Tanjungpinang the samples of the research were the students of XI MIA1 class as the experimental class and students of XI MIA2 class as the control class which were determined randomly after doing normality test and the homogeneity test. The learning process of experimental class and control class used scientific approach which was based on the curriculum in 2013. Experimental class was a class which was given the treatment that used cooperative learning model snowball throwing while the control class was not. Based on the result of data analysis test, we obtained tcount ttabel 4,27 1,67. It meant that the use of cooperative learning model snowball throwing could improve students learning achievement on termochemistry subject in XI MIA class SMAN 1 Tanjungpinang.Key Words : Snowball Throwing , Learning Outcomes, Termochemitry

Abstract

Abstract : The objective of this research was to develop the constructivism-based student’s activity sheet in the subject of ionic equilibrium and pH of saline solution. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model which covers Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Because of the limited time and place, this research was only done until the development step and was followed by the limited trial. This research was conducted in the Faculty of Education and Teachers Training University of Riau. The object of this research was constructivism-based student’s activity sheet. The data analysis technique was descriptive statistical analysis by calculating the percentage of validation’s score. The student’s activity sheet validation of eligibility result by 3 lecturers as the experts was 92.19% which categorize as valid and has already fulfilled the eligibility of contents, language, presentation, and the graphic. The student’s activity sheet validation of eligibility result by 3 teachers as the users was 93.92% with valid categorize, It can be concluded that the student’s activity sheet that already developed can be used in the teaching and learning process. Based on the limited trial that already done to 15 students, the respond showed 92% which in the positive criterion.Keywords: student’s activity sheet, constructivism, ionic equilibrium and pH of saline solution.

Abstract

Abstract : The research about use of media monopoly game has been applied to improve students learning result on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. Form of research is experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of three classes, that is X1, X2, and X3. The sample used, that is X2 as experiment class and X1 as control class that randomly determined after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given treatment with using media monopoly game while the control class without use media monopoly game. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore > ttable (3,06 > 1,67), it means that the use of media monopoly game can improve students learning result on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of students learning achievement in experiment class was high category (N-gain =0,75) and in control class was medium category (N-gain =0,69).Key Words : Media Monopoly Game, Learning Result, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: The research about implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E has been done with purpose to improve learning result of students on the atomic structure and elements periodic system subject at the class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. Learning model Learning Cycle 7E is cycle model that involve student actively through the 7 phase in learning process that is elicit, engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate and extend. This research plan is experiment research by using One Group pretest-posttest Design. The sample consisted of 30 students who are members of the experimental class is class X MIA 5. The technic of data analyze used is t-test paired sample. Tabulation of data result obtained arithmetic-t bigger than table-t that is 46,26 bigger than 2,756; it’s mean there is a significant differences of the student’s learning result with the use of learning model Learning Cycle 7E on the atomic structure and elements periodic system subject at the class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning Model Learning Cycle 7E, Learning Result, Atomic Structure andElements Periodic System Subject.

Abstract

Lactalbumin is a major protein found in milk which has great function to human body. It is a component of wheyprotein in milk. Lactalbumin was isolated from cow’s milk of Fries Holdstein breed by centrifugation at high speed9500 rpm and gel filtration chromatography using sephadex G-50 produced Lactalbumin dissolved in Tris buffersolvent. Characterization of Lactalbumin by measuring the UV absorbance spectrum at 240 – 320 nm comparedwith the spectrum of standard Lactalbumin showed maximum peak at the same wavelength, 280 nm. Lactalbumincontent in milk determined by Lowry method was about 0,66 mg/ml in milk or 9,2% of whey.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an assessment instrument to assess the ability to think creatively on hydrocarbon material and determine the validity of the assessment instrument. The research method used the research and development model of Borg and Gall. This research stage was carried out until the development stage. The assessment instrument developed in this study consisted of twenty-four items in the essay test, which referred to creative thinking indicators, which consisted of 4 indicators. Validation of the instrument for assessing the ability to think creatively was carried out by three validators with expert validity and validation of the measurement of creative thinking skills by experts measured using the Guttman scale. Based on the validity according to the expert, namely the material, construction and language aspects with the Aikens formula, it was obtained that the average expert validation ranged from 0.87 to 0.94 for the very good category, and 12 questions were declared valid. The validity of measuring the ability to think creatively using the Guttman scale obtained the results of 97.2% declared valid. 12 The developed test instrument is considered valid so that it can be used as a measuring tool to determine students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

The research present describe the implementation Health of Minister decisions Number: 1204/Menkes/Sk/X/2004 about environmental health characteristic in rules Hospital of head district in Health and Medical Service Chevron Pacific Indonesia District Duri. Waste management likes liquid or solid form can be a disaster for paramedics and human. The research use the methode are qualitative methodes that analyze problem research by describe the subject and object conditions based on real fact. This research use location in Health and Medical Service Chevron Pacific Indonesia District Duri and researcher collect data from literature study, government regulation, website and deep interview with staff in Health and Medical Service Chevron Pacific Indonesia District Duri, Business Partner Health and Medical Service Chevron Pacific Indonesia District Duri. The conclusion of this research are the implementation of medic waste management in Health and Medical Service Chevron Pacific Indonesia District Duri are have done by cooperation with the Hasakona Binacipta as a Business Partner with the steps are containered waste, collected waste, carry away waste, managed waste by incinerator machine.quality had a strong connection, water quality parameters were measured at 64.8% affected total bacteria and 35.2% were influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi dasar siswa menyelesaikan UjianNasional pada mata pelajaran kimia di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Provinsi Riau. Dalam penelitianini juga mengkaji aspek penyebab rendahnya kompetensi dasar siswa dan mencari alternatifpemecahahan masalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dasar siswa. Sampel penelitian 46 orang tenagapendidik dan tenaga kependidikan SMA Kota Pekanbaru, Kabupaten Siak dan Kabupaten Palalawan,sedangkan data penelitian hasil ujian nasional tahun ajaran 2007-2009, angket, observasi dan wawancara.Hasil penelitian ditemukan 22 soal tahun ajaran 2007/2008, 8 soal tahun ajaran 2008/2009 dan 23soal tahun ajaran 2009/2010 soal Paket A serta 8 soal tahun ajaran 2009/2010 soal paket B. Hasilpenelitian juga menunjukkan ada beberapa aspek dari Delapan Standar Nasional Pendidikan yangbelum berjalan secara efektif sehingga perlu adanya pembenahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media komputer program eXe Learningdengan Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (SPBM), sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan hasilbelajar dan hubungannya terhadap motivasi mahasiswa pada matakuliah Kimia Dasar I. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa tingkat pertama Jurusan PMIPA FKIP UR angkatan 2014 yangterdiri dari empat program studi, yaitu program studi pendidikan biologi, fisika, kimia dan matematika.Sampel penelitian diambil secara acak. Uji persyaratan analisis data digunakan uji kolmogorov-smirnovuntuk uji normalitas dan analisis varians untuk uji homogenitas. Pengujian hipotesis data motivasi belajardan hasil belajar menggunakan Independen sampel T-test SPSS-17. Hipotesis motivasi dan hasilbelajar diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) < á =0,05 maka Ha1 dan Ha2 diterima, jadi terdapat perbedaan yangsignifikan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang diajarkan menggunakan strategi pembelajaranberbasis masalah dibandingkan dengan motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang diajarkan menggunakanstrategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang diintegrasikan media komputer program eXe learning.Pengujian hipotesis hubungan motivasi dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa menggunakan CorrelationsSPSS 17. Pada kelas yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah diperoleh Sig.(2-tailed) > á =0,05 yang artinya Ha3 ditolak, jadi tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antaramotivasi dan hasil belajar. Sementara pada kelas yang diajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasismasalah yang diintegrasikan dengan media komputer program eXe learning diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed)< á =0,05 maka Ha4 diterima, jadi terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi dan hasil belajar.Kata Kunci: Hasil belajar, motivasi belajar, media eXe Learning, strategi pembelajaran berbasismasalah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, motivasidan hubungannyadalampembelajaran Problem Based Solving(PBS) tipe Search, Solve, Create Dan Share (SSCS) denganMolymodterhadap mahasiswa program studipendidikan kimia pada pembelajaran Kimia Organik II diprogram studi pendidikan Kimia FKIP Unversitas Riau tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode Kuasi Eksperiment. Sampel kajian merupakan populasi total dari mahasiswayang mengikuti mata kuliah Kimia organik II sebanyak 44 orang. Dapatan kajian dianalisis menggunakanstatistik Non parametrik (Mann-WhitneyU) untuk melihat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar sertamenggunakan Korelasi Rank Kendalluntuk melihat hubungan antara kelompok eksperimen dengankelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan motivasidan hasil belajar mahasiswakelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol.Hasil analisis Rank Kendalldisimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswayang menggunakan pembelajaran PBS tipe Search, Solve, Create Dan Share(SSCS) dengan Molymod.
