Abstract

Enhancement of paddies production in Lampung done with implementation of agriculture technology innovation. The effort done with farmer field school of integrated crops management (FFS-ICM) of paddies. The learning of field school occured on various ethnic community of rice farmers. The effectivity of learning process can be occured with impersonation by the stages of attention, retention, behavior production process and motivation. The purpose of this study to analyze the difference effectiveness of learning farmer field school for farmers from ethnic Lampung, Java and Bali. The research methods with survey on rice farmers FFS-ICM of paddies participant. The sample total 286 farmers.The research located in Lampung. The research carried out Juni-September 2013. The data analysis done with the difference variance. The result indicate that only the motivate stages of process learning FFS-ICM between Bali-Java ethnic shows that the obvious difference.That implications need a preparation of learning material which capable to increase farmers motivation, need an improvement empowerment of farmers group, empowering figure roles and farmer society figures.Keywords: stages of learning, farmer field school, paddies, Lampung-Bali-Java ethnic

Abstract

Studies in transgenic sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) demonstrated that sucrose transporter (SUT) genes were essential in sucrose translocations. Sucrose transporter gene isolated from sugarcane were designated as SoSUT1 and SoSOSUT2 respectively as encode protein of 518 and 747 amino acids. The genes were constructed into plasmid pYES2 for SoSUT1, and pYX112 for SoSOSUT2. cDNA SoSOSUT2 had also constructed into plasmid pBIN-At-GFP which was possible to trace the gene inserted. The constructed plasmid was transformed into yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and grown in minimal medium (SD–urasil) as selection medium. The transformed colony was confirmed using PCR. The functional expression was studied by growing yeast in YPD medium with 2% Sucrose, then the sucrose uptake was measured in number interval time using resorcinol method. The result showed that yeast INVSc1-pYES2-SoSUT1 and BF264- pYX112-SoSOSUT2 had higher ability in sucrose transport compared to the control-INVSc1 for SoSUT1 and control-BF264 for SoUT2. Moreover, the result showed that SoSUT1 had higher ability to transport sucrose than SoSOSUT2. Confocal microscope observation showed that transformation gene SoSOSUT2 was successful, which was indicated by green exposure of GFP protein.Keyword: sugarcane, sucrose transporter, yeast

Abstract

Evolusi cepat teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) membawa perubahan drastis bagi masyarakat dan industri. Apakah perubahan sosial yang begitu besar akan berhasil dan tembok penerimaan sosial akan diruntuhkan oleh masyarakat 5.0 adalah pertanyaan yang akan terjawab dalam paparan berikut ini dalam antisipasi masa depan. Membuat prediksi dalam hal ini adalah menyiapkan reformasi pendidikan yang seharusnya menjadi tanggung jawab kita bersama. Menarik sekali apa yang telah dimulai Finlandia dengan menerapkan 50 strategi pendidikan/ pembelajaran mengantisipasi perubahan jaman termasuk memasuki masyarakat 5.0.

Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum 2013 berfokus pada pembelajaran berbasis riset (PBR) yang sesuai paradigma konstruktivistik; PBR diyakini mampu mewujudkan keunggulan pendidikan di Indonesia menghadapi persaingan global. Permaslahan dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan: 1) apakah PBR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa? Jika dapat, seberapa besar sumbangan PBR tehadap hasil belajar siswa? dan 2) apakah PBR tepat diimplementasikan dalam kurikulum 2013? Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekundair melalui studi dokumen atas hasil-hasil penelitian yang terbit tahun 2010 - 2018. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelusuri jurnal pada media elektronik; Dari hasil penelusuran yang diperoleh, dipilih 20 hasil yang memenuhi kriteria untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut dalam bentuk % gain yang diperoleh. Kemudian dilakukan analisis kualitatif sekaligus pembahasan untuk menjawab masalah 2. Studi ini telah membuktikan bahwa PBR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 24,23% terutama yang terkait dengan pengembangan keterampilan tingkat tinggi pada proses mencari pengetahuan dan pemahaman baru. PBR yang terbagi menjadi tiga fitur ini memang tepat diimplementasikan dalam kurikulum 2013 karena telah terbukti meningkatkan kualitas dan hasil pembelajaran siswa. Walaupun begitu, dalam implementasi­nya harus dijamin tidak ada siswa yang memiliki pahaman yang salah, atau tidak lengkap atau tidak teratur pengetahuannya sejak awal pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas 5 pada mata pelajaran IPS di SD Negeri Gilirejo Kecamatan Wonosegoro, Kabupaten Boyolali dengan model PBL (Problem Based LearningI) yang berbantukan Role Playing. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam 2 siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket untuk mengukur motivasi siswa dan soal tes untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Tekhik analisis data  yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tehknik deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran PBL berbantu Role Playing motivasi siswa meningkat; 2) demikian juga hasil belajar  IPS mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II.

Abstract

Rendahnya keragaman genetik dan produktivitas tanaman sorgum menjadi permasalahan dalam pengembangan tanaman sorgum. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan pendekatan bioteknologi terutama untuk mendapatkan tanaman transgenik. Pendekatan bioteknologi didukung oleh bahan tanam yang baik dengan menggunakan teknik kultur jaringan untuk mendapatkan kalus tanaman sorgum. Perbanyakan kalus dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kultur jaringan dengan menambahkan konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh 2,4-D. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jember. Penelitian ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan faktor tunggal yaitu pemberian 2,4-D berbagai konsentrasi antara lain A0 (kontrol), A1 2 ppm, A2 3 ppm, A3 4 ppm, A4 5 ppm, dan A5 6 ppm dimana setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Variabel pengamatan yang dilakukan secara kuantitatif yaitu perhitungan kedinian kemunculan kalus, jumlah kalus, dan berat kalus. Variabel pengamatan secara kualitatif yaitu menentukan warna kalus dan tekstur kalus yang diamati secara visual. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan berbeda sangat nyata pada setiap pengamatan kuantitatif dan menunjukkan hasil terbaik pada pengamatan kualitatif. Perlakuan 2 ppm 2,4-D menunjukkan hasil terbaik dibandingkan perlakuan 2,4-D yang lain yaitu mampu menginduksi kalus tanaman sorgum cenderung lebih cepat yaitu 7,6 HST, presentase jumlah kalus 90%, berat kalus 0,6 gram serta kalus berwarna putih kekuningan (5Y 8/6) dan kalus bersifat friable (remah).

Abstract

Abstrack: Improving Motivation and Learning Results Through Discovery Learning Approach. The purpose of learning to get good results, this study aims to improve motivation results that match the expected criteria. The technique used is Discovery Learning approach. The result of motivation research on cycle I are 4 high student category, 5 medium category category and 3 other low category students. In the second cycle, the motivation to learn 9 students of high category, 2 categories of middle students, and 1 low category students. Student learning outcomes cycle I, 9 students achieve mastery and 3 students have not been completed. In cycle II 12 students achieve the value of mastery of learning or 100%. Based on the results of research, discovery learning approach can improve learning motivation and student learning.Keywords: Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Discovery Learning.Abstrak: Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar IPA Melalui Pendekatan Discovery Learning. Tujuan dari belajar mendapatkan hasil yang baik, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi sehingga hasil belajar sesuai kriteria yang diharapkan. Teknik yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Discovery Learning. Hasil penelitian motivasi pada siklus I adalah 4 siswa kategori tinggi, 5 siswa kategori sedang dan 3 siswa lainnya kategori rendah. Pada siklus II, motivasi belajar 9 siswa kategori tinggi, 2 siswa kategori sedang, dan 1 siswa kategori rendah. Hasil belajar siswa siklus I, 9 siswa mencapai penguasaan dan 3 siswa belum tuntas. Pada siklus II 12 siswa mencapai nilai penguasaan belajar atau 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pendekatan discovery learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Hasil Belajar, Discovery Learning.

Abstract

Mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) is a horticultural plant that is beneficial to health. Land conversion is one of the problems with the limited land for agricultural cultivation, causing the level of consumption of mustard greens to decrease, so cultivating plants indoors uses additional light, namely LED growlights as an alternative. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of irradiation time and LED (Light Emitting Diode) grow light power on the growth and yield of mustard greens. The study was conducted indoors using a randomized block design with four replications. The first factor was the treatment of irradiation time control of 12 hours of irradiation and white LED (L0), 12 hours of irradiation and LED growlight (L1), 16 hours of irradiation and LED growlight (L2), 20 hours of irradiation and LED growlight (L3). The second factor is LED power with a power of 6 (W1) watts and 18 watts (W2). There was an interaction between light treatment duration and LED growlight power which was significantly different for leaf area variables with 20 hours of light duration and 6 watts of LED power and root length with 12 hours of light and 6 watts of power. INTISARISawi hijau (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan tanaman hortikultura bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Alih fungsi lahan menjadi salah satu masalah keterbatasan lahan budidaya pertanian sehingga menyebabkan tingkat konsumsi sawi hijau menurun maka melakukan budidaya tanaman didalam ruangan menggunakan cahaya tambahan yaitu LED (Light Emitting Diode) growlight sebagai alternatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama penyinaran dan daya LED growlight terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi hijau. Penelitian dilakukan di dalam ruangan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan empat ulangan. Faktor pertama perlakuan lama penyinaran kontrol lama penyinaran 12 jam dan LED warna putih (L0), penyinaran 12 jam dan LED growlight (L1) , penyinaran 16 jam dan LED growlight (L2), penyinaran 20 jam dan LED growlight (L3). Faktor kedua daya LED dengan daya 6 (W1) watt dan 18 watt (W2).  Terdapat interaksi perlakuan lama penyinaran dan daya LED growlight berbeda nyata terhadap variabel luas daun dengan lama penyinaran 20 jam dan daya LED 6 watt dan panjang akar dengan lama penyinaran 12 jam dan daya 6 watt.

Abstract

The problem in this research was related to the effectiveness of supervision programs implemented by the school superintendent and formulated by: 1) What were the steps supervision was conducted by a school supervisor? 2) How were the results of supervision for teachers in improving the quality of education? 3) What were the constraints and any supporting factors faced by school inspectors in carrying out its duties and functions? This study used a study document on the results of previous studies. The data collected by searching through Google Scholar journal. From the search results obtained by 26 then selected to obtain 9 journals which fill in criteria needed. From these 9 journals then conducted a meta-analysis. The results related to measures of supervision performed by school inspectors programmed, structured attention to the vision, mission and goals of partner schools and their regulations: include academic supervision carried out by applying the techniques of individuals and groups. Evaluation results were obtained surveillance program varies, ranging from moderate to attribute positive results. Evaluation of the implementation of supervision was ranged from the low category to very well performance. The evaluations toward the result supervision were also varying from low category, moderate to perform effectively. Constraints faced by school inspectors in carrying out their duties and functions to be involved in external conditions and internal inspectors concerned.

Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate certified teachers performance in Temanggung regency district of Gugus Mangga. This study was evalitative research using qualitative dessciptive approach. Subject of this research are teachers, principals and supervisors. Data were collected through interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that performance of certified teachers in planning aspect of learning and evaluation is in good category. While the performance of certified teachers in presentation and capacity building is in the less than good category. The recommendation given for teachers in preparing lesson plan (RPP) should included aspect of communication and information technologies and also followed by the development of activities. Recommendation for schools is organizing textbooks procurement so that students can have a good process of learning. Recommendation for regional government is to provide assistance of textbooks procurement for schools which has not enough textbook. Besides that the education office recommended to make self-development program for teachers in order to develop and improve the quality of education.
