Abstract

The general objective of this community service activity is facilitating the theoretical and practical BK services in Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Special Program in Surakarta and MIM Kartasura in implementing Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014 in an effort to improve the professionalism of teachers. In particular, the purpose of the community service is to facilitate the understanding the partner schools in Counselling services in the areas of personal, social, learning, and career. The service activities include socialization Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014 concerning guidance and counseling services in primary school, a discussion on the basic concept of guidance and counseling, and workshops on the implementation of guidance and counseling in Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Special Program in Surakarta and MIM Kartasura. Community service activities have received positive responses namely the formation of a formal institution Institute of Guidance and Counseling in each school. These institutions equipped with the personnel in charge, coordinator and teacher who oversees areas: personal, social, learning, and career.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to 1) identify knowledge of children's personal protection from sexual abuse; 2) identifying children's personal protection skills from sexual abuse; and 3) describe efforts to prevent sexual abuse that have been carried out by the school. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. The research subjects were fifth grade students. The technique of collecting data are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques use the concepts conveyed by Miles and Hubermen. The validity of the data was obtained through source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the research indicate that 1) the child's ability to identify appropriate touch situations is good and the child's ability to identify touch situations that are not appropriate is very good. This are indicated by the child knowing that the appropriate touches such as the touch of the parents when caring for the body, the touch of doctors and nurses when examining the disease and inappropriate touches such as the touch of a housemaid or neighbor; 2) the child's knowledge and skills in reporting are very low, this are indicated by the child being unable to tell other people and children protect themselves by shouting, angry and running; 3) school prevention efforts have been carried out by schools through health education on reproduction and puberty in two stages, namely in the health and religious.

Abstract

Permasalahan karakter yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian adalah degradasi moral pada anak sekolah dasar di Kota Magelang. Pemerintah Kota Magelang mempunyai program unggulan yaitu masyarakat religius menuju masyarakat madani. Adanya program unggulan dari pemerintah Kota Magelang, merupakan solusi menangani permasalahan karakter dengan menanamkan karakter religius pada anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan capaian program unggulan masyarakat religius menuju masyarakat madani di sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah Kota Magelang. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah evaluasi program CIPP (Context, Input, Process, dan Product). metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah Kota Magelang, dengan melibatkan siswa, guru, kepala sekolah, bahkan orang tua siswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini berupa observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen, maupun angket yang mengungkap data mengenai analisis program masyarakat religius menuju masyarakat madani di sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah Kota Magelang. Hasil analisis evaluasi dari tahapan, disimpulkan bahwa program masyarakat religius menuju masyarakat madani yang telah dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah 1 dan 2 Alternatif Kota Magelang, dapat dikategorikan efektif. Namun masih terdapat kesenjangan pada masing-masing tahapan  evaluasi

Abstract

Kompetensi literasi numerasi sebagai prasyarat kecakapan hidup di era 4.0 dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan pendidikan dalam keluarga,sekolah, dan masyarakat. Penguasaan literasi numerasi menjadi sangat penting tidak hanya bagi siswa, tetapi juga bagi orang tua dan warga masyarakat. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mendeskripsikan kegiatan pembelajaran berorientasi literasi numerasi melalui kegiatan kurikuler di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Kota Surakarta dan (2) Mendeskripsikan  kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berorientasi literasi numerasi di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tahap: (1) mengidentifikasi masalah dalam pembelajaran literasi numerasi (2) menentukan fokus masalah  yaitu pembelajaran literasi numerasi di Sekolah Dasar  dalam kegiatan kurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler, (3) menetapkan subyek penelitian, (4) menghimpun data penelitian melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, (5) melakukan analisis menggunakan model alir-interaktif, dan (6) membuat simpulan berdasarkan analisis data dan teori yang ada. Subyek penelitian yang ditentukan adalah kepala sekolah, dua guru kelas V, dan dua penanggung jawab ekstrakurikuler cooking class di SD Muhammadiyah Kota Surakarta. Untuk menguji validitas data penelitian menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan member check. Diperoleh hasil penelitian (1) kegiatan pembelajaran berorientasi literasi numerasi melalui kegiatan kurikuler dilakukan dengan perencanaan (media, bahan belajar,pelaksanaan, dan soal HOTS), pelaksanaan dilakukan secara online dan mandiri, pengendalian melalui kegiatan supervisi dan refleksi. 2) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang berorientasi literasi numerasi dilakukan melalui cooking class

Abstract

Tata kelola penyelenggaraan pendidikan dan pembelajaran jenjang sekolah dasar dihadapkan banyak tantangan dan persoalan pada era komunikasi dan komputasi global ini. Layanan kegiatan bimbingan dan konseling dari guru kepada siswa dan orang tua/wali memerlukan adaptasi cepat supaya pendidikan dan pembelajaran mampu mengikuti perkembangan dan tunturan perubahan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberdayakan dan meningkatkan layanan bimbingan konseling bagi guru-guru SD/MI Muhammadiyah Se-Surakarta pada era komunikasi dan komputasi global. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan holistik reflektif partisipatif (HRP). Kegiatan dirancang bersama dengan melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru unggulan sebagai model layanan bimbingan. Kegiatan diteruskan dengan totorial KDT (Kelompok Disukusi Terpumpun), dan partisipasi aktif serta diakhiri dengan refleksi secara holistik. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah bahwa guru-guru SD/MI kemampuan layanan bimbingan dan konselingnya diperlukan pengayaan dan pemutakhiran secara berkala dan terus-menerus. Layanan bimbingan dan konseling guru-guru SD/MI perlu menyeimbangkan antara kompetensi profesional dan kompetensi sosial. Kompetensi sosial ini memerlukan jangka waktu dan proses yang lebih lama karena berhubungan dengan hakikat kemampuan dan kemandirian anak dalam berkehidupan bermasyarakat. Layanan bimbingan konseleling dari guru kepada anak-anak dan orang tua/wali pada era komunikasi dan komputasi global memerlukan adaptasi teknik dan strategi yang kontekstual.

Abstract

Anak-anak bergejala disleksia perlu diidentifikasi sedini mungkin, gejala-gejala yang dimilikinya harus diketahui sejak dini supaya tidak berdampak buruk pada perkembangan sosial dan emosionalnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi eksplorasi bentuk-bentuk gejala disleksia pada anak SD kelas awal. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di tiga sekolah dasar yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Karanganyar (Sekolah X), Kabupaten Sukoharjo (Sekolah Y), dan Kota Surakarta (Sekolah Z). Objek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 120 siswa kelas awal dan 12 guru pendamping beserta kepala sekolah. Berdasarkan objek yang dipilih ditemukan 9 siswa yang bergejala disleksia. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dilanjutkan dengan studi terpumpun.  Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan pertanyaan yang diadaptasi dari Thompson (2010). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Dari hasil penelitian, ditemukan gejala disleksia terkait perilaku, membaca, mengeja, tulisan tangan, teknik penulisan, dan pemahaman tanda baca yang keseluruhannya siswa bergejala disleksia memiliki hambatan perihal kemampuan membaca, menulis, dan mengeja.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning of Teacher Creativity in Learning in the New Normal at SDN 3 Bulusan, to describe the implementation of Teacher Creativity in Learning in the New Normal at SDN 3 Bulusan, to describe the evaluation of Teacher Creativity in Learning in the New Normal at SDN 3 Bulusan. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative research approach design. The type of research used in this descriptive qualitative research is the place of research at SDN 3 Bulusan Karangdowo with the object of research being teachers and students, the research subject is learning in the classroom with data sources from interviews, documents, and observations. The results of the research are teacher creativity in the use of online learning media at SDN Bulusan, classroom and subject teachers adjust learning media with material that will be delivered to students to achieve learning objectives. The teacher's creativity in using learning methods at SDN 3 Bulusan is that the teacher can use the question and answer method to make learning interesting and not boring, so that students take an active role in online learning. The obstacle faced by teachers at SDN 3 Bulusan lies in its implementation which makes online learning less effective and efficient. 4.
