Abstract

Learning Balinese leads to mastering language theory, literature theory, and four language skills.To reach these objectives are influencedby many factors among others: choosing method of teaching, language attitude of language community (students). Based on the analysis conducting on learning process in elementary school on the fifth and sixth year, there is indication that students find difficulties in learning Balinese. The difficulties can be analyzed from mastering four language skills. The difficulties are caused by there is no variation of teaching method, and language attitude of student.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan menganalisis teks anekdot siswa kelas X antara siswa yang belajar dengan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R dengan siswa yang belajar dengan strategi pembelajaran langsung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan X IPA 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan uji T. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan diperoleh temuan: Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menganalisis teks anekdot antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R dan kelompok  siswa  yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran langsung (nilai thitung > ttabel (4,316 > 1,668) dengan df=74  dan taraf signifikansi 5%), Kata kunci : Strategi belajar PQ4R dan kemampuan menganalisis teks.  Abstract This study aims to analyze differences in the ability to analyze anecdotal text of class X students between students learning with PQ4R learning strategies with students learning with direct learning strategies. The population in this study were students of class X IPA 1 as experimental group and X IPA 2 as control group.. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistic and T test. Based on the result of data analysis and discussion, it was found that there were differences in the ability of analyzing anecdotal text between groups of students who were taught by PQ4R learning strategy and group of students who were taught by direct learning strategy (tcount value> ttable 4,316> 1,668) with df = 74 and a significance level of 5%), Keywords: PQ4R learning strategy and ability to analyze text.Â
