Abstract

PT. LF Beauty Manufacturing Indonesia is a Hong Kong-based Li & Fung group of companies engaged in manufacturing services. The Company has 4 regular customers, namely: PT JHHP, PT.Diversey, PT.Topindo and PT.Wavin. During 2015 the company got 12 defect complaints which 8 complaints came from PT. JHHP. This study aims to determine the cause of disability complaints of PT JHHP, provide improvements to existing problems so that it does not occur in the future and as a measure of company productivity to improve production quality. This research method uses Six Sigma with DMAIC stages (Define Measure, Analyze, Improvement, Control). The object of research is the production data of August 2015 in accordance with customer complaints data. The result of analysis of JHPP customer's complaint obtained the biggest defect of kiwi paste product according to the diagram is finish good leak. Factors affecting the defect complaints of the finish good leaked kiwi paste product is the operator often do autocapper engine wind adjusment, unavailability of space thermometer tool in the warehouse area and dry production area, unavailability of wind pressure gauge used to determine the number of bars used in the asemble process and the temperature of the storage area space exceed the standard set. Defect value decreased, before implementation of 3.497 DPMO with sigma level 4.20 to 568 DPMO with 4.75 sigma level

Abstract

PT.XYZ operates in the field of two-wheeled vehicle manufacturing. A product defect is produced in the design, namely scratch defect, which has an average defect percentage of 2.39%, which exceeds the Company's defect standard of 0.2%. This study aims to determine the factors that cause scratch defects and reduce scratch defects using the QCC method on the frame assembly line section. The research method is done with the stage starting from the problem identification stage to find out the problems that need improvement steps. Data collection techniques are done by conducting direct observations in the field and conducting interviews with related personnel as well as performing literature studies to learn the science of literature that has a direct relationship with the research topic. The problem formulation level is done to find out the main problems that are the source of the occurrence of defective products. Stages of activity collecting data obtained based on direct observation results and company defect data. The data processing stage was done using the QCC method with PDCA approach and using 5W + 1H stage for the repair process so that the defect value is 0.56%, in this case, there is a decrease in the percentage of a defect by 1.84% from the previous 2.39%. Abstract

ABSTRAK. Kesehatan menjadi aspek penting yang harus diperhatilkan dalam desain rumah. karena rumah yang sehat akan berdampak pada kenyamanan yang dirasakan oleh penghuni. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan tata ruang rumah tipe kecil ≤ 36 m2 dan pengaruh perubahan tersebut pada aspek kesehatan penghuninya. Kesehatan difokuskan pada sirkulasi udara dan cahaya (penghawaan dan pencahayaan) yang merupakan dua aspek penting pada kesehatan dalam rumah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengambil kasus secara purposif sampling. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah pada perubahan tata ruang rumah tipe kecil selalu ada ruang yang tidak mendapatkan pencahayaan secara maksimal. Arah perubahan pada rumah tipe kecil adalah ke arah samping, belakang dan depan sehingga sirkulasi udara dan cahaya yang awalnya dioptimalkan melalui halaman depan dan belakang menjadi terganggu. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan membuat bukaan berupa jendela dan roster yang cukup lebar sehingga udara dan cahaya dapat masuk ke dalam ruangan. Namun untuk ruang yang tidak mendapatkan cahaya matahari secara langsung akan menjadi gelap dan lembab sehingga mempengaruhi kesehatan penghuninya.Kata kunci: tata ruang, rumah, kesehatanABSTRACT. Health is become an important aspect which should be concerned in designing a house. Healthy house will affect to the conviniency of the occupants. This research is aimed to explore the transformation of house’s layout of small house less than 36 m2 and the impact of the changes to the health aspect for occupants. Health aspect will be focused on air circulation and natural lighting which are very important aspects for health within house. A qualitative descriptive method has been conducted to analyse this research by taking some cases with purposive sampling. A significant result will be presented that the changes of house’s layout of small house will affect to the existence of room which will not suplied by maximum natural lighting as well as good air circulation. The change direction of small house is to the side direction, backwards and forward, thus air circulation and natural lighting which at the beginning will be optimized through rear side and front side will be interrupted. Efforts will be made by providing opened wall such as wide windows and roster, to circulate the air and natural lighting inside the house. For some rooms which will be not supported to get direct natural lighting and air circulation, the rooms will be uncomfortable for occupants, because it will be dark and humid for some reasons and will affect to the health of the occupants.Keywords: layout, house, health

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi tentang pentingnya pencahayaan dan ruang gerak untuk mewujudkan kenyamanan pada rumah sederhana yang ergonomis. Studi kasus yang diambil adalah Rumah Sederhana Sehat yang ada di Bekasi. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kenyamanan penghuni pada rumah dilihat dari pencahayaan dan ruang gerak yang tersedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengambil kasus secara purposif sampling. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan adanya bukaan yang cukup, cahaya dapat masuk secara merata ke dalam ruangan, perkecualian pada kamar mandi yang terletak di tengah. Dengan adanya cahaya masuk secara merata, maka semua ruangan bisa digunakan untuk beraktivitas. Hal ini membuat semua ruangan di dalam rumah menjadi nyaman. Ukuran bukaan yang terdapat pada rumah sederhana yang diteliti mempunyai ukuran sesuai dengan standar sehingga matahari dapat masuk untuk menerangi ruangan. RSS di Bekasi juga memiliki ruang gerak efektif yang cukup. Rata-rata prosentase ruang gerak pada rumah adalah 79,35% yang tergolong cukup luas untuk beraktivitas. Kata kunci: kenyamanan, pencahayaan, ruang gerak, rumah sederhana yang ergonomis ABSTRACT. This research has been motivated on the significancy of lighting and space in order to create comfort within ergonomic low income house. There are some case studies of Rumah Sederhana Sehat have been conducted within Bekasi area. The aim of this research is to describe the comfort of the dwellers from the aspect of lighting and existing space. The method that has been used is a qualitative descriptive method by taking case studies with sampling purposive method. The result of this research will provide some standard with sufficient windows, prevalent lighting within room, except for bathroom which located in the middle of house. With a prevalent lighting within room, therefore all the room relatively could be used for activities. This condition will create a comfort space within a house. The dimension of windows within case studies have a dimension as a minimum standard requirement which make sunlight could enter all the room. RSS within Bekasi also have a sufficient efective space, which is about 79,35% of house area, and this is regarded as a sufficient space to do activity within a house.     Kata kunci: kenyamanan, pencahayaan, ruang gerak, rumah sederhana yang ergonomis

Abstract

Along with the times, every human level and life will be upgraded automatically. Likewise, the company if it does not adjust to the times, it will be difficult to adjust. As with the production process, there will be differences from time to time. From time immemorial, doing work manually, and in the present era using technological tools. Lifting the car seat manually makes the operator complain of pain, due to the high production volume. To eliminate the complaints from these operators, a proposed tool design was made. The method used is Axiomatic House of Quality. In general, Axiomatic Design can help the product development process be more structured with a focus on design that fits the function of the product. The first step in this research is to collect input from customers. Then after getting input from the customer, it is converted into a customer attribute. Then, develop the concept by making several alternatives based on the combination table. Next, determine the design that will be used and carry out testing and coordinate with the user, namely the assembly operator. Finally, determine the specifications and final design of the tool for lifting a seat whose load exceeds the lifting standard. The results of this study are in the form of a design tool for lifting the seat which is expected to reduce complaints of pain to the operator. So that this design design makes the company a consideration for implementation.

Abstract

The use of composite materials in Indonesia, as a nonmetal alternative material has begun to increase. Composite use has grown from water tanks from fiberglass materials, household appliances, children's toys, sports equipment, furniture/interior design to automotive components and aircraft. Many of the advantages of this composite material include hand, strong, anti-corrosion, finely tuned finish. Its mild nature has a direct impact on energy savings. The prospect of composite materials as a non-metal alternative material is rapidly growing and its use. Various types of reinforce used can be influenced by the prices available, so seek alternatives as a commonly used glass fiber substitute woven rowing. The substitute used is a sack of gourds of the same kind as woven rowing, from which the same type of fiber is tried to find its strength by undergoing a pull test. And as a result of the test the mateial can know its power.

Abstract

Quality is a factor that determines the success of a product penetrate the market, in addition to other major factors such as price and service. Quality products will have great competitiveness and high quality level. Products produced from extracts of natural ingredients, one product is Black Tea extract. To maintain customer satisfaction, the company tries to emphasize the value of DPU that occurs. This study aims to analyze the defect reject from the production of Black Tea Extract for a year using SIPOC diagram (Supplier Input Process Output) and Pareto diagram. Result of research is total production during that period equal to 358 batch x 300 Kg = 107400 kg, total reject of 78 batch x 300 kg = 23400 kg, with total reject for Black tea extract 21,79%. Can be known in the process of Black Tea extract reject largest in reject brix out of spec for 93.67% and Reject Tannin out of spec 6.33%. So it can be concluded that the dominant reject of the production process for black tea extract products is reject brix out of spec.

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap industry yang menerapkan zero waste, mendorong semakin banyaknya kajian dan riset mengenai pemanfaatan bahan alam yang berasal dari hasil samping suatu industry, baik skala kecil maupun besar. Padi merupakan komoditi bahan pangan pokok bagi masyarakat Indonesia dan produksinya melimpah, sehingga hasil sampingnyapun cukup banyak, seperti sekam, jerami, dedak, bekatul. Dedak padi adalah salah satu hasil samping agroindustri pengolahan padi dan di dalamnya terkandung berbagai macam bahan yang bermanfaat seperti protein, mineral, serat, dan minyak, serta berbagai bioaktif seperti feluric acid, g-oryzanol. Adapun Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis pasar dan produk terhadap produk perawatan tubuh dengan menggunakan bioaditif bersumber dari hasil samping industry agro, selanjutnya menginterpretasikan dan pengolahan data serta menentukan spesifikasi produk yang diinginkan oleh masyarakat. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah 1). Melakukan pengumpulan data mengenai kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap produk hasil diversivikasi dedak padi untuk keperluan non pangan 2).  Melakukan interpretasi dan pengolahan data; 3). Menentukan Spesifikasi Produk yang diinginkan konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil penyebaran dan olahan kusioner untuk produk Tamanu Cleansing Oil dapat disimpulkan bahwa layak untuk diproduksi dan dipasarkan ke konsumen sebagai pembersih kulit muka, dengan perbaikan yang harus dilakukan yaitu tekstur dibuat menjadi lebih lembut sehingga nyaman digunakan. Sedangkan produk Body Lotion Pitoe layak untuk diproduksi dan dipasarkan ke konsumen dengan beberapa perbaikan seperti : Tekstur dari body lotion pitoe lebih dilembutkan dan tidak encer.

Abstract

Mesin Air Blast Freezer (ABF) adalah salah satu alat pembeku makanan dalam dunia refrigerasi. Dalam perancangan Air Blast Freezer ini, tahapan yang paling menentukan adalah saat perhitungan beban kalor yang akan menjadi acuan bagi perancang dalam pemilihan kompresor. PT. XYZ dalam hal ini untuk memenuhi permintaan pelanggan untuk 2 unit ruangan ABF dengan kebutuhan membekukan adonan roti berkapasitas 250 kg/jam di tiap ruangan melakukan perhitungan beban kalor ABF dengan asumsi total beban kalor sebesar 41,5 kW dan menggunakan kompresor 62WBHE 900rpm sebagai penopangnya. Sehingga saat ini terdapat 2 kompresor tipe 62WBHE 900rpm yang berjalan, dan 2 unit kompresor yang sama direncanakan untuk projek 2 ABF selanjutnya. Kondisi aktual yang didapatkan dengan cara observasi dan analisa perhitungan serta pemilihan kompresor, beban kalor ternyata hanya 37,81 kW, dan cukup apabila hanya menggunakan kompresor 42WBHE 900rpm yang ukurannya lebih kecil dan kebutuhan dayanya juga lebih kecil.

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi ini, guru tidak lagi berperan sebagai sumber utama pembelajaran. Sebaliknya, mereka sekarang berperan sebagai fasilitator yang dibutuhkan untuk menggunakan teknologi yang berkembang untuk mendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh. Untuk membantu mitra dalam hal ini, dengan guru-guru Raudhatul Athfal (RA) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) di Yayasan Baitul Ulum, diberikan pelatihan pembuatan blog. Blog juga digunakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran tambahan dan sebagai alat literasi digital guru. Platform ini berfungsi sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis blogger dan menerapkan pendekatan konstektual untuk hasil Pendidikan secara daring.  Metode yang digunakan diantaranya (1) Konsep pemanfaatan weblog dalam penyebaran informasi di bidang Pendidikan, (2) Pengenalan blog yang akan digunakan blogspot, (3) Praktik cara menggunakan blog secara dasar (4) Praktik cara mengisi konten dalam blog, berupa: teks, gambar, maupun video dan (5) pengenalan media pembelajaran lainnya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran ini, kami telah menemukan bahwa blog dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah media pembelajaran yang berbeda di sekolah. Diharapkan ke depan, guru-guru dapat menggunakan blog sebagai alat pembelajaran untuk menarik perhatian dan minat siswa.
