Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) To analyze the effect of the significance of Compensation for Motivation lecturer at the Polytechnic of Malang, (2) To analyze the effect of the significance of Compensation for Performance lecturer at the Polytechnic of Malang, (3) To analyze the effect of the significance of Competence on Motivation lecturer at the Polytechnic of Malang, (4) to analyze the effect of the significance of competence on the performance of a lecturer at the Polytechnic of Malang, (5) to analyze the effect of the significance of motivation on the performance of a lecturer at the Polytechnic of Malang, (6) to analyze the effect of the significance of Compensation and Competence to performance with variable between motivation at Politeknik Negeri Malang. In this study, the design used is the analysis of the design Explanantif Path (Path Analysis) to measure the relationship between variables research or to analyze how the influence of a variable to another variable. Data collection techniques in this study using a survey method, with tools enclosed questionnaire, in which respondents choose one of the answers that have been provided with alternative answers consisted of the interval is 1 - 5. The object of the study was 42 faculty of electrical engineering courses Politeknik Negeri Malang. This study found evidence that: (1) Compensation positive effect but not significant to the motivation of lecturers polytechnic poor, (2) Competence positive and significant effect on the motivation of lecturers polytechnic unfortunate, (3) Compensation positive effect but not significant to the performance professor polytechnic land poor, (4) competence positive effect but not significant to the performance professor polytechnic unfortunate, (5) Motivation positive influence and significant impact on the performance of lecturers polytechnic unfortunate, (6) There is a positive effect and significant compensation, competencies through motivation on the performance of lecturers polytechnic unfortunate. Keywords: Compensation, Competency, Motivation and Performance Lecturer

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to analyze: (1) the effect of study habits to reading motivation of students, (2) the effect of the availability oftextbooks on reading motivation of students, (3) the influence of campusenvironment against reading motivation of students, (4)the effect of learning methods to motivate students to read, (5) the effects of habit of learning on student interest in reading, (6) the effect of the availability of textbooks on reading interest of students, (7) the influence of campus environment against reading interest of students, (8) the effect of teaching methods to the reading interests of students, (9) the influence of motivation to read to reading interest of students, (10) the factors that influence the views from the learning habits of students, availability of textbooks, campus environment and learning methods to interest in reading with variable between motivation, in Politeknik Negeri Malang (Polinema).Sampel used in this research consisted of 137 respondents are students majoring in electrical engineering semesters IV, primary data collected through questionnaires.Technique data analysis using path analysis.This study found evidence that: (1) Study Habits positive influence and significant impact on motivation. (2) Availability of textbooks have a positive influence and significant impact on motivation. (3) environmental campus positive effect significantly to the motivation. (4) learning method influential no significant effect on motivation. (5) Study Habits direct and indirect positive effect and significant interest in reading. (6) Availability of books Lessons are directly and indirectly affect positively but not significant interest in reading (7) Environment campus in direct and indirect positive effect and significant to the interest in reading (8) method of learning directly and not trim a positive effect and significant interest in reading. (9) Motivation positive effect and significant interest in reading. Abstract

Pemuda di lingkungan Perumahan Kota Malang Bagian Barat juga memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi terhadap aplikasi di telepon genggam, laptop, maupun komputer. Namun banyak yang belum menguasai aplikasi-aplikasi yang berkaitan dengan produktivitas yang bisa dipasang di gawai. Pada saat ini, kegiatan di organisasi maupun tugas-tugas di sekolah sangat melibatkan data-data dan angka-angka yang perlu dikelola. Pengolahan data atau angka tersebut bisa sangat sulit dilakukan jika menggunakan aplikasi yang kurang tepat bahkan secara manual. Sebenarnya sudah ada aplikasi yang paling tepat untuk mengolah data dan angka yaitu MS Excel. Aplikasi ini bisa menjadi sangat sulit digunakan jika tidak memahaminya, begitu pula sebaliknya. Berdasarkan kedua kondisi di atas, maka dapat diambil suatu peluang untuk dapat melaksanakan pengabdian pada masyarakat berbentuk pelatihan pengoperasian Microsoft Excel (MS Excel) pada pemuda karang taruna dengan harapan mereka dapat mengenal dan memperoleh pengetahuan di dalam mengoperasikan program komputer berkaitan dengan aplikasi lembar kerja. Sehingga akan mempermudah mereka di dalam mengikuti kegiatan di organisasi maupun dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah atau kuliah.

Abstract

Warga Perumahan Permata Bandara Pakis kab. Malang berjumlah sekitar 50 kepala keluarga, namun karena perumahan ini merupakan komplek baru dan ditujukan untuk keluarga baru kepala keluarga yang menempati rumah di komplek tersebut hanya berjumlah 20 kepala keluarga. Kondisi perumahan cukup sepi pada malam hari dan gelap. Mayoritas warga di perumahan permata bandara adalah pekerja kantoran yang lokasi kerjanya berada di kota Malang, Singosari, Lawang, Pandaan, bahkan ada yang di Surabaya. Kondisi ini menyebabkan pada saat mulai gelap yaitu malam hari terkadang warga masih belum sampai di rumah masing – masing sehingga kondisi perumahan sangat gelap. Bahkan pedagang keliling pun masih jarang lewat di sekitaran perumahan karena akses jalan masuk menuju perumahan belum memiliki akses penerangan yang cukup memadai. Instalasi PJU menggunakan saklar otomatis photocell ini merupakan solusi untuk bisa membuat perumahan lebih aman dan nyaman yaitu dengan membuat penerangan jalan yang bisa menyala secara otomatis tanpa perlu ada warga yang harus menyalakan secara manual. Karena penyalaan secara manual oleh warga akan terkendala saat hujan turun dan berbahaya terkena kejut listrik ketika membuka panel listrik utama saat basah. Penamabahan lampu jalan umum di akses menuju perumahan akan membuat pedagang keliling lebih merasa aman dan nyaman untuk melintasi jalan sehingga geliat ekonomi bisa semakin kuat di kawasan ini.

Abstract

Ketersediaan sumber energy yang semakin langka menyebabkan kemungkinan terjadinya krisis energi. Pemakaian energy yang semakin meningkat setiap tahunnya, sejalan dengan semakin banyaknya jumlah penduduk dan majunya peralatan yang digunakan. Rumah tangga merupakan salah satu pengguna energi listrik karena banyak menggunakan peralatan elektronik tetapi, konsumsi energi di kalangan rumah tangga tergolong boros. Kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengkonsumsi energi listrik di dalam rumah tangga yang belum baik menjadi salah satu penyebab tingginya tingkat keborosan penggunaan energi dalam rumah tangga. Tujuan dari pada penelitian ini adalah mencari peluang penghematan energi listrik dengan melakukan analisa pemakaian listrik rumah tangga. Dari hasil analisa tersebut dapat disusun langkah-langkah dan strategi yang akan dilakukan guna mendapatkan penghematan konsumsi energi listrik pada rumah tangga. Sistem penghematan yang dirancang dibuat sesederhana mungkin sehingga dapat dengan mudah diterapkan dalam masyarakat.

Abstract

An audit energy needs to be carried out because the value of Energy Consumption Intensity in 2020 is 251 kWh / m2 / year and in 2021 it is 221 kWh / m2 / year and the value of Specific Energy Consumption in 2020 is 0.26 GJ / Ton and in 2021 is 0.29 GJ/Ton. The energy audit method used is to calculate the value of Energy Consumption Intensity and Specific Energy Consumption. The savings opportunities made are on the air conditioning system, lighting system, and electric motor load. From the results of the analysis and calculation of savings in the air conditioning system, savings of 50.1% or 67.70 kWatt were obtained using a psychrometric diagram to determine the cooling system according to the needs of the room, then for the lighting system, savings of 21.9% or 6 kWatt by replacing the installed lighting system with energy-saving lamps, then the load of the electric motor is using capacitor to improve the power factor value which was originally 0.77 to 0.85 with the aim that the motor speed does not change which will result in the precision of the production obtained savings in the use of apparent power of 7.13% or 126.52 kVA. The total recommended power saving obtained from the calculation results is 73.7 kWatt. So based on the calculation of the energy audit that has been done, it can reduce production costs and energy use efficiency

Abstract

To assist residents of RW 12 Desa Landungsari in supporting village facilities and infrastructure, especially the problem of street lighting. Where to apply to the related agency is not possible because it is only a rural area, so it is necessary to have the self-help of the residents in lighting up their area at night. This lighting will use solar cells as an energy source with a capacity of 50 Wp Off Grid system with a load of 12 Volt DC LED lights. This is because solar energy is a large enough energy available and is environmentally friendly.This research activity also includes community education on the importance of using solar energy as a source of electrical energy. Based on field testing, the average solar panel output voltage is 17 volts, the maximum charging current is 2.6 A and a load power of 30 watts consists of several LED lights.

Abstract

DC-DC Converter is a direct voltage (DC) power supply device that is produced by converting DC input voltage into a lower or higher DC output voltage. In its development, the application of DC-DC Converter allows an electronic device to function with a small energy source, where the output voltage can be varied as needed. DC-DC Converters have been widely developed because they have various advantages, including: simpler form and has high efficiency. In this thesis, an Arduino Mega 2560-based current controller will be implemented. The type of current controller implemented is hysteresis current control with the well-known, tested and proven considerations. Current control works if the inductor current rises from the lower limit of the hysteresis band to the upper limit then the switch will be turned off (inductor current above the upper reference Ip.Ref) and if this current drops from the upper limit to the lower limit the switch will be turned on (current inductor under low frequency Iv.Ref). This current control also has advantages in overcurrent protection such as when there is a short circuit in the load.

Abstract

Energy is one of the most important needs for humans to support daily life, especially for developing countries such as Indonesia. One of the energies needed in human life is electrical energy. For this reason, innovation was developed, namely a dry-type Single-Phase Transformer with a core geometry approach developed in the AL 1.01 building of the State Polytechnic of Malang. Calculations performed on the tool are to calculate the value of windings per volt (GPV) and the number of primary and secondary windings. Its manufacture uses a toroid-shaped transformer core. The core specification of the transformer is an outer diameter of 15cm, then an inner diameter of 5.8 cm, and a height of 7cm. The toroid transformer core that will be used is previously isolated from the transformer first to avoid leakage current which can cause heat in the transformer core. The density of the email wire from the transformer winding both from the primary and secondary windings will affect the performance of the transformer, the more tightly the email Wire is wrapped in the transformer core, the vibration generated from the transformer will be smaller, this will affect the voltage losses later in the transformer testing phase carried out using different beaban, each load changes the efficiency of the transformer that has been made will also change, this is because each load tested has different factors.

Abstract

Perguruan Tinggi sebagai salah satu lembaga yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan diharapkan mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu menjawab tantangan dan kebutuhan pasar. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan tersebut perguruan tinggi harus mampu meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam mendidik mahasiswa sehingga berhasil memenuhi harapan yang diinginkan stakeholder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah proses belajar mengajar (PBM) dan kediplinan dosen di program studi teknik listrik sudah bisa memenuhi harapan dan memberikan kepuasan terhadap mahasiswa. Manfaat hasil dari penelitian akan sejalan dengan tujuan penelitian , bilamana tujuan diatas dapat dicapai ,maka dapat ditindak-lanjuti secara institusional dalam peningkatan proses belajar mengajar (PBM) dan kedisiplinan dosen dalam melayani mahasiswa sehingga diharapkan pelayanan yang baik kepada mahasiswa dapat dicapai.
