Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of supervisory support on work life balance and organizational citizenship behavior. Data was collected from 209 five-star hotels and four-star hotels staff in Malang, East Java, Indonesia, using a questionnaire. Data was analyzed using GeSCA. The research findings show that supervisory support has a significant effect on work life balance, but supervisory support does not have a significant direct effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Meanwhile work life balance has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. These findings provide insight to managers that employees need emotional support and instrumental so that they can balance work life with their personal lives. A good life balance work will foster organizational citizenship behavior that has an important role in improving the performance and competitiveness of the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the potential of the urban housewives to run an in-house nurseries business. Applying a survey method, the sample of this study consisted of 54 respondents. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the research respondents and then analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results showed that the urban housewives had the potential to run an in-house nurseries business that focused on seven aspects, i.e., the aspects of marketing, technical, financial, organizational & human resources, law, environment, and social & economy. However, they should mainly focus on the technical aspect of the business. This research is still in the phase of the conceptual study. Therefore, future studies should explore the practical study approach so that the proposed business model of the in-house nurseries can be applied by the urban housewives. Abstract

Budaya organisasi adalah kebiasaan, norma, aturan yang dipahami dan disepakati bersama seluruh anggota organisasi. Budaya organisasi lebih kepada hal yang benar yang harus dipatuhi dan dilaksanakan dan hal buruk yang dilarang dan akan mendapat sanksi jika ada yang melanggar. Budaya organisasi sangat melekat dalam organisasi, baik dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan, berkomunikasi sesama anggota dan kebiasaan-kebiasaan lain yang sifatnya turun temurun. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka budaya organisasi adalah hal penting atau memiliki peran penting dalam keseluruhan aktifitas organisasi. Dalam penelitian ini, hipotesa yang dimunculkan adalah diduga adanya pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja organisasi. Maka, untuk membuktikan hipotesa disusunlah alat analisis yang dapat mengukur dan mengetahui. Informasi diperoleh dengan metode kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden. Diharapkan, hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi perusahaan sebagai objek penelitian, masyarakat luas, dan penelitian selanjutnya tentang topik yang serupa. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan dukungan untuk teori Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM).

Abstract

This research was aimed to make an inventory card in terms to improve the process of stock-taking materials at Ramanda Beauty Shop Ampeldento, Malang. This research was an action research with 4 stages such as from Plan, Action, Observation, and also Reflection. The data was collected by interview method. To make sure that the owner of Ramanda Beauty Shop are able to use inventory card easily, researcher use a Technology Acceptance Model questionaire. The result of this research was the owner feel helped by the inventory card to record and inventarize the raw materials easily, because each time when there was a raw materials arrived, it must be recorded on the card, and if the employee wants to use the raw materials, the employee must update the card, so the movement of raw materials becomes more controlled and it can reduce excessive expends from the business owner's side.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of Work performance and Employee Work Discipline on Promotion Position in Perum Jasa Tirta I Malang. This research is an explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires, interviews. The sampling method uses saturated sampling with a sample of 40 people. The results of this study indicate that Work performance has a significant effect on Promotion Position. Employee Work Discipline has a significant effect on Promotion Position.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Leadership Style and Motivation on employee performance at Matahari Department Store Malang Town Square. This type of research is quantitative. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires, interviews. The sampling method using Probability Sampling using Slovin formula, then the samples obtained were 83 respondents. Data analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS 24. The results of this study indicate that Leadership Style has a significant effect on employee performance, motivation has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine whether PT FIF Central Malang has implemented the concept of Learning Organization to its full potential in achieving company goals. This type of research is a qualitative study with a questionnaire as a data collection tools. The sample of this research was 38 people using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis method uses data triangulation. The results showed positive and significant results, so based on the triangulation of data that had been done it could be explained that PT FIF Central Malang had applied the concept of a learning organization in achieving company goals. These results are in line with research conducted by several previous studies that the concept of learning organization could positively and significantly affected to the performance improvement of an organization.

Abstract

Organizational culture is a habit, norms, rules that are understood and agreed upon by all members of the organization. Organizational culture is more to the right thing that must be obeyed and implemented and bad things are prohibited and will be sanctioned if there is a violation. Organizational culture is very embedded in the organization, both in carrying out work, communicating with fellow members and other habits that are hereditary. Based on this, the organizational culture is important or has an important role in the overall activities of the organization. In this study, the hypothesis raised was the alleged influence of organizational culture on organizational performance. So, to prove the hypothesis, an analytical tool is developed that can measure and know. Information is obtained by questionnaire method distributed to respondents. Hopefully, the results of this study contribute to the company as the object of research, the wider community, and further research on similar topics. This research is also expected to provide support forthe theory of Human Resource Management

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of personality on employee performance. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. Sampling technique using non probability sampling method with saturated sampling technique that is taking the entire amount of the population to be sampled that is a number of 30 respondents. Methods of data collection by interview, questionnaire and observation. For data analysis used simple linear regression. Based on the analysis of data processing that has been tested in this study stated valid and reliable. The result of simple linear regression equation is Y = 26,309 + 2,061X. Results of the hypothesis test are known to be> ttable> 5,025> 2.048. Coefficient of determination of 0.474. While the percentage of the magnitude of the influence between the variable personality and employee performance variables of 49.2% and the rest of 50.8% influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

A successful company is a company that has employees in accordance with company needs, namely employees who have high work discipline who automatically have high productivity as well. This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline on work productivity of PG Krebet Baru Malang employees. The population of all employees of PG Krebet Baru Malang in the KB Installation Section II totaling 301 people. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression using the SPSS 24.0 application. The results of the study concluded that work discipline has an effect on work productivity.
