Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics through cooperative learning type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) completed with crossword puzzle method in class VIII C SMP Negeri 3 Sawangan Magelang. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research is students of class VIII C SMP Negeri 3 Magelang Sawangan totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques in this research uses observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The results showed that motivation and mathematics learning outcomes has increased. Based on the results of research, math teachers can implement Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) which is completed with crossword puzzle method as a variation in mathematics learning model.

Abstract

The problem of the research is whether the effort of learning using method TPS can improve the student activity and achievement in class VII D MTs. YP. Nurul Huda Tanah Abang Palembang. The aim of the research is to design and apply the TPS in VII D class of MTs. YP. Nurul  Huda  Tanah  Abang  Palembang  to  improve  the  student’s activities and  achievementsin math. The researcher did a class action research through two cycles. Each  cycles consist of: planning, action, observation and reflection. The technique of data collection is through observation, questioner and test. The researcher analyzes the data using test validity and reliability. The result of  is  research  is  there  is  an  improvement  of  the  student’s  activities   and achievement by applying the method TPS in math.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the Jigsaw in order to improve mathematics achievement activeness and tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Magelang. Hypothesis this research is to use the Jigsaw cooperative learning model can improve the mathematics achievement and activity in tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Magelang. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two circles. Percentage of student learning activity in pre-action was 45,70%, circle 1 was 58,21%, and circle 2 was 76,42%. Abstract

the purpose of this study was to improve interest and mathematics achievement in cooperative students of class VII SMP Sanjaya Ngawen Gunungkidul with Jigsaw. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were students of class VII which was 16 students. Research findings indicate that interest and mathematics achievement. It can be shown by an increase in the average yield percentage of student learning interest. Based on the questionnaire for each cycle, in the first cycle of student interest was 65,94% and for the second cycle was 75,31%. While the average value interpretation of students mathematics learning increased from an average initial value of the average of  64,68 up to 67,18 in the first cycle and the second cycle to 75,31

Abstract

the purpose of this research is to improve the activity and mathematics students’ achievement of class VIIB SMPN3 Muntilan through cooperative learning model NHT (Numbered Heads Together). This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycle. The subjects of this research is students of class VII B SMPN 3 Muntilan. Data collection techniques in this research uses observation, tests and documentation.The results showed that after apply the cooperative learning model NHT in class VIIB SMPN3 Muntilan, activity and mathematics achievement of students has increased.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the learning process and mathematics achievement students of class VII B SMP N 2 Pakem with cooperative learning type Teams Games Tournamennts (TGT) model. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this research were students of class VII B which is 32 students. The data collecting technique in this research was done by using observation, documentation and tests. The result of this research showed an increase in the learning process and achievement of students in the learning process. This is indicated by an increase in percentage of students learning process on the first cycle is 59,82%, while on the second cycle increased to 68,75%. The percentage of the KKM students of class VII B also increased, pre-cycle at 15,625% increased to 59,35% in the first cycle, the second cycle again increased to 65,625%.

Abstract

the purpose of this research was to improve the self learning and learning mathematics achievement of students of class VII H SMP N 2 Maos through Who Want To Be A Star Class learning method. The subjects of this research was students of class VII H SMP Negeri 2 Maos totaling 34 students. The object of this research was self learning and mathematics learning outcomes. The result showed that after application of learning method Who Want To Be A Star Class in class VII H SMP N 2 Maos, self learning and mathematics achievement of students has increased. This is indicated by an increase in the result percentage average self learning score of 74,43% in the pre-action, whereas at the first cycle improves with average percentage 81,47%. In the second cycle improve to 84,37%. Mathematics achievement of students also increased. At the beginning of the test the ability is 62,94. In the first cycle, the average result improves to 71,47. In the second cycle the average result improves to 75,88.

Abstract

the purpose of this research was to improve student’s activity and mathematics achievement  students of class VII D SMP N 1 Kretek Bantul with cooperative learning Group Investigation (GI) model. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were students of class VII D which is 28 students. Techniques of data collection in this research was done by using observation, tests, and documentation. Result of this research showed an increase in student’s activity and mathematics achievement of students in the learning process. This is indicated by an increase in percentage of students liveliness on the first cycle is 48,21% with middle classification, while on the second cycle increased to 70,09% with a high classification. Mathematics achievement also increased in each compared with the student first value. The percentage of students who have KKM also increased the pre-cycle at a 3,57%  increased to 53,57% in the first cycle, the second cycle again increased to 78,57%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the learning process Intellectually Auditory Repetition (AIR) that creativity and achievement grade XD mathematics spending the SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungsari Gunung Kidul academic year 2012/2013 can be increased. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were students of class X D. While the object of this research is creativity and the learning achievement of students using learning model AIR. Data was collected by observation sheets, questionnaires, documentation, field notes and tests. Analysis techniques for observation sheets and questionnaires carried out by calculating the average percentage for each cycle and for student achievement is done by calculating the average value and percentage of mastery learning. The results showed that after application of the learning model AIR, creativity and academic achievement increases. From the results of the observation sheet pre-cycle 48.72%, in the first cycle of 66.03%, in the second cycle of 82.69%. From the questionnaire results pre-cycle creativity at 57.23%, 74.99% first cycle and second cycle of 78.54%. In addition the average mathematics achievement of students has risen 63.65 on pre-cycle, the first cycle 74.80, and 79.80 on the second cycle. As for the passing grade 50% pre-cycle, the first  first cycle of 65.38% and 76.92% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The purposes of this study was to improve liveliness and mathematics achievement students VIID in junior high school 1 Srumbung Magelang with cooperative learning TPS (Think Pair Share). This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were students of class VII D which is 34 students who comprised 18 male students and 16 female students. The objects of this research are being active and increase math  achievement. It is shown by an increase in the average yield percentage of being active  student learning  based on the observation sheet. The first cycle was 53,91% became 75,97% in cycle II.
