Abstract

This research aims to develop multicultural-based LKPD on SBDP learning in grade V elementary schoo and aims to test the feasibility of multicultural-based LKPD that has been used by students of grade V SDIT Raudhaturrahmah Pekanbaru in March 2021. This type of research is research development R&D (Research and Development) using a 4D model consisting of 4 stages namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. Validation results from experts obtained an overall average at draft 1 of 81.37 with a valid category. The average overall validator rating score in draft 2 is 96.55 with a very valid category. The average assessment score of the overall teacher response questionnaire is 92.5 with a very decent category. Meanwhile, the average assessment score of the overall response of students was 94.78 with a very good category. Based on the data, multicultural-based LKPD is very feasible to be used in SBDP learning in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the achievement of the pedagogical competence of group II elementary school teachers in Kecamatan Batang Peranap, Indragiri Hulu. This study involved 59 elementary school teachers and utilized descriptive quantitative method. To collect the data, the researchers utilized a questionnaire consisting of 40 positive and negative statements. Then, the data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study showed that the pedagogical ability of group II elementary school teachers in Kecamatan Batang Peranap, Indragiri Hulu was classified as high with an achievement percentage of 85.37%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tantangan guru dalam mengajarkan matematika pada saat pandemi Covid-19 di SDN 004 Simpang Pulai. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu mulai dari guru kelas 1 sampai guru kelas 6, yang berjumlah 6 orang guru kelas. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara yang berisikan pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan guru dalam pembelajaran matematika secara daring dapat diklasifikasikan atas dua yang pertama; Tantangan dari dalam diri, pembelajaran matematika secara daring yang dilaksanakan di SDN 004 Simpang Pulai  tidak efekti dari segi ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Kedua; Tantangan dari luar diri, Rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa serta keterlibatan orang tua untuk mendampingi anak dalam pembelajaran matematika baik secara moral maupun material.

Abstract

Multicultural approach is learning to use cultural diversity as a force in carrying out classroom learning. The aim of this research is to analyze the improvement of students' learning outcomes of art concepts between those who obtain learning with a multicultural approach and those who obtain conventional learning. This research is a quasi-experiment study with the nonequivalent control group design method for pre-service elementary school teacher. The research data were analyzed utilized the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results was in the experimental class obtaining an initial test average of 61.13 increased to 78.35 in the final test. While the control class obtained an initial test average of 61.65 and increased to 68.87 in the final test. The results of this research indicate that there are differences in the average score of the initial and final tests, but there is no statistically significant difference in the improvement of learning outcomes of the art concept between students who obtain learning through the application of a multicultural approach with students who are learning as generally.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties experienced by elementary school teacher education students in completing their final assignments during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The data collection technique used in this study used a questionnaire or questionnaire distributed to 78 respondents. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. Sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data. The results of this study are that elementary school teacher education students have high enough motivation because they do not want to be a student any longer, students have difficulty in pouring research results into scientific work, students have difficulty identifying educational problems during the covid-19 pandemic. Due to the limited scope, students have difficulty finding references or literature due to the closure of the library so that students use online references which are sometimes difficult to access due to frequent link errors and limited internet quota, and students have difficulty collecting data in the field due to the Physical Distancing policy.

Abstract

Terjadinya pandemi covid 19 membuat pembelajaran harus diubah cara penyampainnya. Untuk mencegah penyebaran virus, sekolah disenggarakan dengan PJJ (pembelajaran jarak jauh) yang juga dikenal dengan pembelajaran daring. Tidak semua guru siap untuk melaksanakan karena berbagai kendala. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran daring di sekolah dasar. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas 1,2,3,4,5 dan kelas 6, SDN 001 Langgam. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara terbuka. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Analisi data digunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran daring adalah pembelajaran di sekolah dasar tidak efektif dari segi pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran daring memeratkan guru dan orang tua secara moril dan materil. Pembelajaran daring membuat siswa merasa terpisah-pisah dengan temanya dan kmompetensi sikap kompetensi ketrampilan siswa sulit untuk diketahui. Keberhasilan pembelajaran daring sangat tergantung dengan kesadaran dan kepedulian orang tua, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, dan kepedulian guru.

Abstract

The ability to solve story problems is a skill in solving, answering, and working on questions in accordance with the learning objectives and the intent of the questions. The existence of learning mathematics can improve students' ability to count. One of them is solving story problems. This study aims to describe the ability of grade IV students of SD Negeri 9 Bukit Batu in solving math story problems. The ability to solve story problems is seen from the indicators in solving math story problems, while the indicators are: 1) Ability to write down known aspects, 2) Ability to write down aspects in question, 3) Ability to solve mathematical models, 4) Ability to draw conclusions. The type of research that the researcher will use is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques using test techniques, namely in the form of student test results which are then analyzed according to predetermined indicators. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it can be seen from the four indicators that the average value is 63.08. This shows that the ability of grade IV SDN 9 Bukit Batu students is in the sufficient category

Abstract

This study attempts to investigate the positive and the negative impact of negative reinforcement on fifth-grade students’ science learning process. This study was carried out in elementary school 177 Pekanbaru. The kind of research is a qualitative study, and data were collected using video recording, observation, the questionnaire, and interview. Ten learning and teaching activities were conducted in two classrooms, 5 times in VA and 5 times in VB. The results show that the positive impact of negative reinforcement is to increased students’ motivation to study science. While the negative impact of negative reinforcement is, to have students’ ton fear or vexation dislike to their teacher. The students feel discomfort because the teacher often punished students whenever they made mistakes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the correlation between reward and student’s learning motivation. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study is fifth grade students in the seventh cluster of Taman District of Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used by the researchers is the simple random sampling. Researchers took a precision of 10% and the sample used was 115 students. Techniques of collecting data are in the form of questionnaires. Data were analysed using the product moment correlation technique. These results indicate that there is a positive and significant correlation between reward and students learning motivation. The significance value is 0,001 < 0,05. The correlation between reward and students’ motivation is at the low level. The large donations or contributions between reward and student learning motivation is 10,2% from coefficient of determination.

Abstract

The background of this study is learning outcomes of students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru, it is known that has not reached the value according to the standard score which is 75. This research aims to determine how the application of inquiry learning models to science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru. This research was a quasi-experimental study with pretest and two groups (experimental group and control group). The experimental group was the group given inquiry treatment model. Based on the results of the experiment, it was found that there was an effect of the implementation of inquiry learning models on science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru It is known that the t test is higher than t on table (4.60> 2,006), the research hypothesis which says there is an effect of the implementation of inquiry learning model to the results of science learning of fifth grade students of SDN 18 Pekanbaru, is accepted
