Abstract

Muhammadiyah 3 Middle School in Purwokerto is the school that organizes the Low-Income Students Scholarship (BSM) program every first semester held in each new school year. During this time, processing student data and other equipment have been processed with manual calculations, as well as data storage using only Microsoft Excel. In selecting ranking, it still uses paper. The paper calculation on the selection of BSM recipients in the previous year is often lost and hard to find already needed, also there is no particular system for processing the data so that the subjective method is still needed by relying trusts on personal. The purpose of this study is the creation of a Decision Support System (DSS) application for Determining Low-Income Students Scholarship (BSM) using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method at Muhammadiyah 3 Middle School in Purwokerto so that the selection process of Low-Income Students Scholarship (BSM) can be used. So that it is right on target to students who are entitled to BSM and can store data safely. The system development method used is a waterfall.

Abstract

Due to the increasing importance placed on customer equity in today's business environment, many companies are focusing on the notion of customer loyalty and profitability to increase market share. Building a successful Customer Relationship Management (CRM), a company starts from identifying true value and customer loyalty because customer value can provide basic information to spread more targeted and personalized marketing. In this paper, customer lifetime value (CLV) is used for customer segmentation in non-contracted businesses. The results obtained from this study are very acceptable. CLV has successfully analyzed and produced a fairly strong assumption about the value possessed by each customer whether they will make a return transaction or not.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the similarity of the answers to the description by using alternative answers as reference answers provided by the lecturer with a view to overcoming the diversity of student answers. This research focuses more on Indonesian language questions and answers by combining the jaccard similarity algorithm and keyword similarity. The results obtained indicate that by adding alternative reference answers, it can increase the correlation value to 0.78% and reduce MAE to 0.55. Likewise, after combining the jaccard similarity algorithm and keyword similarity, the correlation value increased to 0.78% and MAE decreased to 0.49.
