Abstract

Research on Unit Cost Analysis of Students in Planning Graduate Program In Education Financing (PEF) at the Open University aims to determine the costs of students who take the program PPs-UT, in order to obtain this financing real terms by analyzing three aspects of the unit cost, which is fixed costs (fixed costs), variable cost (variable cost), and opportunity costs are the responsibility of the student. For the long term, the expected results of this study can serve as guidelines and financial planning education for prospective students who wish to continue their education in Distance Education Program in accordance with the Open University Pascasarana UPBJJ-UT character of each area. The research was conducted at UT PPS program, with sample PPs UT students in semester IV. Sampling for this study using proportional random sampling. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The results showed that the fixed costs (fixed cost) has the same magnitude value for each item to be paid, except for the new student registration fee, examination fee hearing, as well as the cost Thesis Guidance Residential (BTR). For the variable costs, the amount depending on the location of the students are, especially related to tutotial face to face and dependents live. For the opportunity cost (opportunity cost), students feel not lose the opportunity to work during the lecture at UT PPs, because the online college system as well as face to face tutorials (TTM) which was held on Saturday and Sunday do not interfere with their work schedule. Meanwhile, to plan their future education, student education financing plan by setting aside income. Penelitian mengenai Analisis Unit Cost Mahasiswa Dalam Perencanaan Pembiayaan Pendidikan Pada Program Pascasarjana (PPs) di Universitas Terbuka ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biaya yang harus dikeluarkan mahasiswa yang mengikuti program PPs-UT, agar didapatkan satuan riil pembiayaan ini dengan menganalisis 3 aspek unit cost, yakni fixed cost (biaya tetap), variable cost (biaya variabel), dan opportunity cost yang menjadi tanggung jawab mahasiswa. Untuk jangka panjangnya, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman dan perencanaan pembiayaan pendidikan bagi calon mahasiswa yang ingin melanjutkan pendidikan pada Pendidikan Jarak Jauh Program Pascasarana Universitas Terbuka sesuai dengan karakter UPBJJ-UT masing-masing wilayah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada program PPs UT, dengan sampel mahasiswa PPs UT pada semester IV. Pengambilan sampel untuk penelitian ini menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya tetap (fixed cost) memiliki besaran nilai yang sama untuk setiap item yang harus dibayarkan, kecuali untuk biaya registrasi mahasiswa baru, biaya ujian sidang, serta biaya Bimbingan Tesis Residensial (BTR). Untuk biaya variabel, besarannya tergantung dari lokasi mahasiswa berasal, terutama terkait dengan tutotial tatap muka dan tanggungan hidup. Untuk biaya kesempatan (opportunity cost), mahasiswa merasa tidak kehilangan kesempatan untuk bekerja selama mengikuti perkuliahan di PPs UT, dikarenakan sistem kuliah online serta tutorial tatap muka (TTM) yang diadakan hari Sabtu dan Minggu tidak mengganggu jadwal pekerjaan mereka. Sementara itu, untuk merencanakan pendidikan mereka ke depan, mahasiswa merencanakan pembiayaan pendidikannya dengan menyisihkan penghasilan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of adversity intelligence and work performance on the professionalism of teachers .This research is quantitative correlational research. The sample was determined using a random sampling technique of 135 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire of adversity intelligence, work performance, and teacher professionalism. The data analysis tool was performed using the Structural Equation Modeling Method (SEM LISREL 8.30). The results showed that there was a significant effect of adversity intelligence on teacher professionalism .There is a significant effect of adversity intelligence on work performance. There is a significant effect on work performance on teacher professionalism. The results of this study imply that adversity intelligence and work performance are two factors that affect teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is an influence of motivation on teacher performance, analyze whether there is an effect of job satisfaction on teacher performance, analyze whether there is an influence of education on teacher performance, analyze whether there is an influence of work experience on teacher performance and to analyze whether there is an influence of motivation, satisfaction work, education, and work experience on teacher performance. This research was conducted in elementary schools throughout Rantau Selatan in Labuhanbatu. Sampling using Multistage random sampling with criteria using purposive sampling (self choice) and by means of Cluster Random Sampling (CRS). The instrument used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire instrument in the form of a Likert scale with the number of motivational questionnaire items is 20 items, job satisfaction is 12 items and teacher performance is 20 items. The data analysis technique used assumption test in the form of univariate test, while hypothesis test used multivariate test at significant level a=0.05. The results showed that: There is an effect of motivation, job satisfaction, education, and work experience on teacher performance seen by the value of Fcount (3.302) > Ftable (2.55) significant value 0.017 <0.05, and R square value of 0.203

Abstract

THE EFFECT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP STYLE AND INFRASTRUCTURE ON THE WORK CULTURE OF TEACHERS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF GROUP 4 PARUNGSARI IN SAJIRA SUB-DISTRICT, LEBAK REGENCY. Work culture in schools is closely related to leadership style and facilities and infrastructure. In this case, the low work culture of elementary school teachers is also commonly found in elementary school teachers in Cluster 4 Parungsari, Sajira District, Lebak Regency. Based on data from the Sajira District education office, it was recorded that 52 teachers or 50% (104 teachers from 12 elementary schools) found a low work culture as indicated by the number of teachers who came late to school, the learning process in the classroom did not match the time allocation, and the teacher's lack of creativity in creating innovative learning. This is quite interesting to be studied and analyzed further. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and infrastructure on the work culture of teachers. This research is quantitative research with Explanatory Survey method. The sample used was 100 elementary school teachers in the Parungsari Village, Group 4, Sajira District, Lebak Regency. Data was collected using a questionnaire/questionnaire. The research results obtained are: 1) There is an influence of Transformational Leadership Style on Teacher Work Culture; 2) There is an influence of Facilities and Infrastructure on the Teacher's Work Culture; 3) There is an influence of Transformational Leadership Style and Infrastructure on Teacher Work Culture.

Abstract

CORRELATION BETWEEN PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP AND ACADEMIC SUPERVISION ON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER PERFORMANCE IN LEBAKGEDONG DISTRICT, LEBAK REGENCY. The low performance is one of the key factors affecting student success. Teachers are expected to meet and materialize stakeholders’ hopes and needs in helping students achieving the learning goals. Literatures have shown that teacher’s performance is also affected by many factors, among others are the leaderships of the school principal and the academic supervision offered by the school principal. This paper reports the findings of a study that was intended to see the correlation between school principal leaderships and academic supervision with teacher performance. The study is quantitative research from 64 teachers sample in an Elementary School in Lebakgedong, Lebak Regency. Data was collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and was analyzed using Chi square test. The result show that both the principal leadership (X1) and academic supervision (X2) have positive significant relationships with teacher performance (Y), partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan bantuan operasional sekolah (BOS ) di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 126 Pekanbaru beserta faktor yang mempengaruhi  dalam  mengimplementasikan kebijakan tersebut. Fokus penelitian ini pada aspek gaji guru honorer sekolah, pengadaan alat multimedia dan buku wajib bagi siswa yang didasarkan pada Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 8 Tahun 2020 Tentang Petunjuk Teknis Bantuan Operasional Sekolah.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan informan sebanyak 10 orang dengan teknik purposive sampling . Penelitian ini menggunakan teori implementasi menurut Edward III dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapati bahwa pelaksanaan bantuan operasional sekolah berjalan lancar dan ketentuan administrasi dilaksanakan dengan baik. pada aspek komunikasi, terjalin komunikasi efektif antara pemangku kepentingan dan sasaran kebijakan. Untuk aspek sumber daya, tersedianya staff yang berkompeten dalam mengelola BOS.  Pada aspek struktur birokrasi, pengelola BOS menunjukkan bahwa dalam penggunaan anggaran mengacu dan berpedoman pada petunjuk teknis BOS. Terdapat 2 faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan BOS tahun 2020 di SD Negeri 126 Pekanbaru yakni faktor pendukung  yang terdiri dari SOP, komunikasi, disposisi dan sumber daya sedangkan  faktor penghambat terdiri dari struktur birokrasi, wewenang dan LSM. Walaupun terdapat faktor penghambat  dalam implementasinya, namun secara umum peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa  implementasi program bantuan operasional sekolah pada satuan pendidikan sekolah dasar negeri 126 pekanbaru tahun 2020 telah berjalan  dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan karismatik dan kompetensi kepribadian terhadap disiplin kerja guru sekolah dasar. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic deskriptif dan inferensial yaitu SEM dan analisis jalur (metode simultan yaitu uji-F). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan Karismatik berpengaruh signifikan dan positif diterima terhadap disiplin kerja guru, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan Thitung >Ttabel (3,49>1,97) dan nilai koefisien loading faktor  sebesar 0,33; (2) kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh signifikan dan positif diterima, hal ini dapat dibuktikan  dengan Thitung >Ttabel (6,67>1,97) dan nilai koefisien loading faktor 0,65; (3) hasil uji bersama-sama kepemimpin karismatik dan kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja guru, hal ini dapat dibuktikan  dengan F hitung sebesar 5.155, nilai prob<alpha (0.007<5%), dan nilai R-square sebesar 51,44% sudah baik karena memiliki nilai lebih dari 50%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan karismatik dan kompetensi kepribadian guru yang baik memiliki tingkat disiplin kerja guru yang tinggi.The research aims to analyze the influences charismatic leadership and personality competence of teacher towards the discipline of work of states elementary teacher. The primary data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics that is SEM and path analysis (simultan method that is uji-F).  The result showed that: Firt, charismatic leadership significant influence and be accepted positively on the discipline of work of states elementary teacher, this was proved by  Thitung >Ttabel (3,49>1,97) and factor loading coefficient value equal to 0,33. Secondly, personality competence of teacher significant influence and be accepted positively on the discipline of work of states elementary teacher, this was proved by Thitung >Ttabel (6,67>1,97) dan factor loading coefficient value equal to 0,65. Third, the test results together charismatic leadership and personality competence of teacher towards the discipline of work of states elementary teacher, this was proved by F hitung amounting to 5.155, prob score<alpha (0.007<5%), dan R-square equal to 51,44% is good because it has a value of more than 50%. So it can be concluded that charismatic leadership and good teacher personality competence have a high level of teacher work discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the impacts of implementing Transformational Leadership (TL) and Information Communication and Technology (ICT) in the education sector to increase Customer Satisfaction especially during uncertainties and in pandemic situations. Using the quantitative approach, this research argues the importance of customer satisfaction in education influenced by the communication skills implemented in Transformational Leadership and ICT. The research setting is in a private school located in Jakarta. Data from 286 respondents using stratified data sampling are gathered and analysed using SMART PLS. The results showed that TL has a stronger influence than ICT in improving customer satisfaction with a value of 0.547 and 0.329, respectively, especially to overcome problems in the learning process during pandemic times. Therefore, we can conclude that both Transformational Leadership and ICT are vital to increase Customer Satisfaction with a higher strength on Leadership. This study indicates the importance of Communication to build relationships in Transformational Leadership to improve Customer Satisfaction in education. Customer Satisfaction is also an essential focus in education, and the correct type of Leadership is needed. With transformational Leadership and the application of ICT, educational institutions can provide better service and, as an implication, can improve Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study was to analyze the effect of leadership style and principal's motivation on teacher performance in SD Sekupang District, Batam.This research is a correlation research.From the results of multiple regression analysis that the principal's motivational style variable has a greater value in influencing teacher performance.From the test results, it can be concluded that the leadership style and motivation of the principal simultaneously and significantly affect the performance of elementary school teachers in Sekupang District, Batam.From the results of the t test, it can be concluded that the leadership style variable has a significant influence on performance.Likewise, the principal's motivation has a significant effect on performance with a significant level of  0.05

Abstract

Penilaian Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) telah di atur dalam PP no 30 Tahun 2019. Hasil valuasi sistem akuntabilitas kinerja pada Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan menunjukan bahwa pencapaian kinerja Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Paser selama tahun 2019 dan 2020 mengalami penurunan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Paser. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix methods. Pada penelitian mix methodes ini menggunakan jenis sequential explanatory yakni menjabarkan data kuantitatif terlebih dahulu dan kemudian diperkuat dengan data kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai yang ada di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Paser sebanyak 50 orang yang terdiri dari PNS dan PTT. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan total sampling karena jumlah populasi terhitung sedikit. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan dua instrument penelitian yakni kuisioner serta daftar pertanyaan terstruktur. Hasil perhitungan uji parsial antara kemampuan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dari tabel koefisien diperoleh nilai signifikansi adalah sebesar 0,24, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kemampuan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja. Hasil perhitungan uji parsial antara lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dari tabel koefisien diperoleh nilai signifikansi adalah sebesar 0,01, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa koefisien regresi variabel lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Diharapkan pimpinan instansi dapat menggilir setiap pegawainya dalam mengikuti pelatihan, sehingga semua pegawai dapat mengembangkan keterampilan dan bakatnya untuk menunjang pekerjaannyaPerlu diadakan evaluasi fisik terhadap ruangan, infrastruktur yang tidak lagi dapat menunjang kinerja pegawai agar segera bisa diganti, dilengkapi dan diadakan.
