Abstract

Karya tulis ilmiah bukanlah barang baru bagi guru SD. Terdapat beberapa jenis karya tulis yang sangat poupuler dikalangan guru SD, salah satunya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pada umumnya guru menyusun PTK sebagai salah satu syarat kenaikan pangkat, walaupun sebenarnya esensi dari PTK adalah salam rangka menyelesaikan permasalahan pembelajaran di kelas. Namun demikian tidak sedikit guru yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun PTK. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan tersebut perlu diadakan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada para guru. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun PTK. Lokasi pelatihan dan pendampingan di SDN 5 Pemenang Barat, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan secara offline dan online. Tahapan pelatihan dan pendampingan diawali dengan pemantapan teori kemudian dilanjutkan dengan praktek penulisan PTK. Pendampingan dilakukan secara berkala. Proses bimbingan dilakukan secara klasikal dan individual dengan memperhatikan kompetensi yang dimiliki masing-masing guru.  Jumlah peserta pelatihan sebanyak delapan guru. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini secara umum dapat berjalan dengan lancar, namun demikian terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi kompetensi menulis PTK sebagian besar guru dapat menentukan dan mengidentifikasi masalah dengan baik. Sebagian besar guru masih mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat judul, membuat rumusan masalah dan menentukan kerangka pemecahan masalah. Maka dari itu pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru terkait dengan penyusunan PTK perlu dilakukan secara berkelanjutan agar kompetensi guru dalam penulisan karya ilmiah dapat meningkat

Abstract

This study aims to examine how strategies to strengthen student morale through school programs. In analyzing the problem, this study used a descriptive method with observation, interview and documentation study techniques. Some of the findings obtained from the research show that students' moral strengthening strategies are implemented in several aspects; first on the vision and mission of the school where the school sets the vision and mission and goals of the school that imply the values of faith, piety and religion in order to strengthen student morale, secondly in activities both in activities within the school environment or activities outside the school environment related to activities religious values in order to increase religious value, the third application of teacher exemplary aims to provide good moral examples for students so that students learn from existing models, namely teachers, fourth on school facilities and infrastructure, fifth on school rules arranged based on vision mission and school objectives. The results of the research show that this strategy is quite successful in strengthening student morale. There are several findings that can hinder the success of the application of students' moral values, such as: the number of students who are not balanced with the number of classes, the number of teachers who are less than ideal, the utilization of facilities is not optimal, the lack of commitment of the school community, especially the lack of cooperation between parents in strengthening efforts. student morale

Abstract

Literacy is not only the responsibility of formal education institutions. One form of education in society is a community library. This study aimed to describe the roles and problems faced by community library forums in enhancing literacy culture. The subject in this study was a community reading garden as a part of a community library forum. Data were collected in Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. This study applied a qualitative research design with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through surveys, observation, and in-depth interviews. Then, the data were presented in the form of tables, diagrams, and word descriptions. The researchers extended the observation time in order to achieve the validity of findings. The main problems found in this study included: what are the challenges faced by community library forums? What is the role of the community library forum in enhancing the literacy culture of children in Lombok Tengah? The results revealed that the challenges faced by community library forums included problems of regeneration, inadequate facilities, lack of book collections, low literacy culture, and non-optimal support from the government. The role of libraries in enhancing literacy culture was as a facilitator, motivator, creator, and pioneer of the literacy movement in rural areas. With the presence of the community library, the children felt more excited about reading.

Abstract

Children with Special Needs (ABK) have the same rights to obtain an education as a normal child. Based on this, MI NW Tanak Beak received the mandate to organize inclusive education in West Lombok Regency. There are 47 children with special needs in the school who are spread in each class. Each crew is unique and requires different treatments. The teacher plays a major role in this matter. Therefore this study will describe the problems that arise from a teacher of the inclusive class and the actions of teachers in solving these problems. This research is qualitative. Data collection was carried out by interviewing a teacher who had not received training on inclusive education and taught in classes with special needs. The results of the study showed that teachers have difficulty in planning activities, implementing learning in the classroom, and interacting with ABK to fulfill their rights. To solve these difficulties the teacher believes that an effective way is to continue to learn about inclusion education, giving affection, attention, assertiveness, discipline, and inculcation of religious values.

Abstract

We can find various types of electronic devices that are so sophisticated followed by the emergence of various types of modern games or online games that can be so easily accessed by children. So that at this time traditional games are becoming obsolete and modern or online games are preferred. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research and data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The traditional games originating from the province of West Nusa Tenggara, namely, the first traditional games originating from Lombok such as Lunglungse Games, Manuk Kurung Games, Jumpring Games, Shopping Games, and Game Peresean. The Sumbawa Traditional Games are Logok Game, Rabanga Game, Kebo Play Game, and Karaci Game. The Bima Dompu Traditional Games are Mpaa Sila Games, Baleba Games, and Parise Games. The benefits of knowing the types of traditional games so that Indonesian people especially the people of West Nusa Tenggara province can add more insight and are expected to be preserved so that they are not extinct.

Abstract

Professional teachers are not only required to teach well but also must possess good writing skills. Scientific work for teachers is part of professional development. However, not a few teachers still have difficulty writing scientific papers. This study intends to analyze the difficulties of teachers in compiling scientific papers. This research utilized descriptive quantitative. The research took place at SDN 1 and SDN 5 Pemenang Barat, North Lombok district. The research was conducted from August to September 2020. The number of teachers being the research sample was 20 teachers. Data collection used survey methods. The instruments were in the form of an open questionnaire and a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results showed that most teachers found it difficult to compile scientific papers. The contributing factors included lack of motivation, lack of understanding of the concept of scientific work, the feeling of not having time, and the low intensity of writing scientific papers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang festival Bau Nyale sebagai pengenalan dan pelestarian budaya. Pelestarian budaya menjadi tugas setiap warga negara terutama generasi muda karena budaya atau suatu tradisi menjadi identitas suatu bangsa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada saat pelaksanaan festival pesona Bau Nyale 2020 yang diadakan pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam festival dan masyarakat yang berperan sebagai penonton. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles & Huberman, yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa melalui festival Bau Nyale pada tahun 2020 menjadi wadah pengenalan dan pelestarian budaya suku sasak. Dimana melalui festival ini peserta dan penonton disajikan treatrikal legenda putri mandalika sebagai awal sejarah lahirnya tradisi Bau Nyale kemudian mendapatkan pemahaman nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam tradisi Bau Nyale hingga pada penentuan tanggal tradisi Bau Nyale dilaksanakan. Selain itu pada Festival Bau Nyale ini juga diselipkan untuk mengenal pakain khas sasak seperti baju lambung, untuk perempuan dan baju pegong untuk laki-laki selain itu dimeriahkan oleh kesenian tradisional Gendang Beleq yang menjadi kesenian khas suku sasak

Abstract

Pandemi memaksa pembelajaran dilakukan secara jarak jauh. Dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh kebutuhan media tidak dapat dihindari, salah satunya media belajar online. Guru dituntut memiliki kompetensi yang cukup dalam menggunakan media belajar online agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik. Kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan media dapat mempengaruhi efektifitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru sekolah dasar dalam penggunaan media belajar online di sekolah dasar. Penelitian dirancang dalam bentuk penelitian survei. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara tertutup. Subjek penelitian adalah guru pada salah satu sekolah dasar di kabupaten Lombok Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menemukan fakta bahwa kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan media belajar online masih terbatas. Hanya sedikit guru yang telah menggunakan media online dalam pembelajaran. Rata-rata guru belum memanfaatkan media online dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar selama pandemi. Pembelajaran jarak jauh  terpaksa dilakukan melalui teknik penugasan dan home visit. Guru sangat membutuhkan pelatihan terkait dengan pemanfaatan media online untuk kegiatan pembelajaran

Abstract

Social studies education is one of the compulsory subjects in elementary schools. At the elementary school level, social studies need to be taught because it contains material that teaches about social interaction as a provision for students to be able to socialize, communicate and collaborate as part of community members. The scope of Social Studies which studies humans, space, and time as well as change and continuity has the aim that students can develop values, attitudes, and skills both as individual beings and as social beings. The main purpose of social studies education is to equip students to be able to play a role as good citizens in their daily lives. By studying social studies students are expected to have awareness and concern for social issues and problems, as well as be able to make critical analyses and be able to take appropriate action to resolve them. Social studies education in its development does not escape changes, both in terms of the organization of learning materials and learning techniques. These changes are a consequence of changes in the learning curriculum which is always updated according to the demands of the times. Through a search of various relevant literature in this article, we will review how the concept, history, and position of social studies education in the learning curriculum in elementary schools.

Abstract

Membaca merupakan salah satu bagian dari literasi yang paling mendasar. Permasalahan literasi dasar harus dituntaskan sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran lebih jauh. Jika aspek literasi masih mengalami kendala dapat dipastikan pembelajaran pada level berikutnya akan mengalami kesulitan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan membaca siswa selama pandemi ditinjau dari perbedaan gender. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa di sekolah dasar. Jumlah responden yang diteliti sebanyak 78 siswa. Responden siswa laki-laki sebanyak 31 siswa sedangkan reponden siswa perempuan sebanyak 47 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan membaca. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca siswa perempuan lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan siswa laki-laki. Siswa perempuan yang telah lancar membaca mencapai 53.19%, sedangkan siswa laki-laki hanya 38.71%. Jumlah siswa laki-laki yang tidak dapat membaca/belum mengenal huruf sebanyak 12.90%, sedangkan pada siswa perempuan hanya 4.26%. Disamping faktor kematangan psikologis yang berbeda, beberapa faktor yang diduga menjadi penyebab siswa laki-laki mengalami kesulitan membaca antara lain perilaku belajar, etos belajar, tanggungjawab belajar dan kemandirian belajar yang kurang baik pada siswa laki-laki.
