Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran Instalasi Tenaga Listrik yang valid dan praktis di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model 4D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TITL di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang pada semester satu tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh validitas media 90.0% dengan kategori valid. Validitas materi rata-rata sebesar 87.50% dengan kategori valid. Uji praktikalitas dengan responden guru rata-rata sebesar 86,55% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan responden siswa kelas XI TITL SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang dengan nilai rata-rata 84,52% menyatakan modul pembelajaran instalasi tenaga listrik dikategori sangat praktis. Disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran Instalasi Tenaga Listrik adalah valid dan praktis dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang menunjang pembelajaran daring pada mata kuliah Pengukuran dan instrumen di Jurusan Teknik Elektro FT UNP. Mata kuliah ini merupakan mata kuliah dasar yang sangat penting untuk menunjang mata kuliah lain di semester berikutnya. Dari hasil observasi diketahui bahwa dalam pembelajaran daring yang menggunakan LMS mahasiswa kesulitan dalam menemukan referensi untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan. Hal ini terjadi karena masih terbatasnya sumber belajar online yang dapat diakses oleh para mahasiswa untuk mata kuliah ini. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul elektronik yang valid untuk mata kuliah pengukuran dan instrument. Modul elektronik yang dikembangkan diuji validitasnya dengan menggunakan angket validitas dan meminta pendapat ahli media dan ahli materi, lalu dianalisis dengan rumus uji validitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis rata-rata angket validitas diperoleh tingkat validitas modul elektronik adalah termasuk kategori valid baik sebagai media pembelajaran maupun dari sisi materi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul elektronik untuk mata kuliah Pengukuran dan Instrumen termasuk kategori valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai referensi dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi membawa banyak manfaat bagi kehidupan manusia. Dengan bantuan teknologi pekerjaan yang semula dilakukan manusia secara manual dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama bisa diubah menjadi otomatis dan praktis. Salah satu teknologi yang terus berkembang sampai saat ini adalah mikrokontroler. Mikrokontroller merupakan keluarga mikroprosesor yang berupa chip yang dapat melakukan pemrosesan data secara digital melalui program. Mikrokontroler digunakan untuk membuat suatu alat dengan biaya yang lebih murah. Salah satu aplikasi mikrokontroler adalah dalam perancangan alat penjemur pakaian otomatis. Sensor SHT11 digunakan sebagai pendeteksi suhu dan kelembapan yang hasil pengukurannya akan ditampilkan pada LCD. Alat ini dapat mengeringkan tiga jenis bahan pakaian yang berbeda yaitu pakaian jenis kaos, jaket dan jeans. Pakaian yang akan dikeringkan adalah pakaian basah yang sudah diperas dengan tangan. Sistem pengeringan pakaian ini menggunakan lampu pijar 20Watt sebagai alat pemanas dan kipas 12V untuk menghembuskan angin secara menyeluruh dalam ruangan. Dari hasil pengujian alat diperoleh bahwa untuk mengeringkan pakaian kaos memerlukan waktu 3-4 jam, jaket 4,5-5,5 jam dan jaket 5-6 jam. Sensor SHT11 dapat mendeteksi suhu dan kelembapan dengan baik, relay dapat bekerja dengan baik untuk menghidupkan lampu dan kipas dc, buzzer berfungsi dengan baik sehingga dapat memberi pertanda bahwa kain telah kering dan ditampilkan pada layar LCD. Dari hasil pengujian alat dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan alat ini dapat bekerja dengan baik dalam mengeringkan pakaian.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process carried out online because it is not possible to hold a face-to-face learning process or direct learning due to the current Covid-19 epidemic period. Assessment and evaluation of learning in conditions of social distancing and physical distancing can be applied on an online basis which is carried out at home using the remote assessment method. With the rapid development and advancement of technology today, the application of remote assessment is very possible and easier, especially with the existence of the internet network. Therefore, a 4-D development model is used where the results developed are products in the form of essay questions where this is to overcome existing problems so that the learning process can still be carried out. The research objective was to produce a product in the form of essay and oral test questions online on valid measurement courses and instruments. Based on the results of the study using the 4-D model by doing the validity test, it was found that the product in the form of essay questions developed that had been tested got valid results. The validity results were tested by three validators. From the results of the validity test developed, it can be concluded that with the development of the product in the form of the latest essay questions, it can improve the critical thinking ability of each student, and when suddenly there is a quiz given by the lecturer, students will be better prepared to do well and not complain.

Abstract

The learning process in class X TITL SMK Negeri 1 Kerinci is still centered on the teacher, the lack of active students during the learning process, students play gadgets during the learning process and do not pay attention to the material that the teacher delivers. The learning process is still teacher-centered, in terms of delivering material, the teacher is still very dependent on blackboard media so that students find it difficult to understand the material delivered by the teacher which affects student learning outcomes. Therefore, researchers developed Augmented Reality learning media to help increase students' interest in learning. The research aims to develop valid and practical Augmented Reality learning media. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Dissaminate). The instrument used was a validity questionnaire and a practicality questionnaire with class X TITL students and subject teachers as respondents. The average result of the validity value in filling out the validity questionnaire by the validator is categorized as valid. And in filling out the practicality questionnaire, the practicality value is obtained in the very practical category. Based on the results of the development research carried out, it produces Augmented Reality learning media that is valid and very practical in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the application of online learning due to COVID-19, student learning outcomes that have not yet achieved minimal completeness, and the learning process is still centered on teachers due to the unavailability of adequate learning media that students can use for independent study as demanded by the curriculum. 2013 and online learning. This study aims to produce a valid and practical E - Electrical Lighting Installation learning module at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. This study uses a research and development method with a 4D model. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TITL at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang in the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Based on the results of the study obtained the validity of the media with a valid category. Validation of materials with valid categories. The practicality test with teacher respondents got results in a very practical category and respondents from class XI TITL SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang stated that the E - Electrical lighting installation learning module was categorized as very practical. So it can be concluded that the E - Electrical Lighting Installation learning module is valid and can practically be used in the teaching and learning process in schools.

Abstract

This research was carried out because in the lighting installation course there is no jobsheet on Tae Langlois 1-3 media, so this study aims to produce a jobsheet for Tae Langlois 1-3 media which is useful to support the learning of residential installation courses. The method in this study is the type of research and development R&D (research and development) using a 4D model, consisting of the define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The sample in this study were undergraduate students of electrical engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang who had taken practical housing installation courses. Based on the results of the study, the validity data obtained from the three validators, namely the first lecturer was very valid, the second lecturer was very valid, and the third lecturer was valid. So, the results obtained from the three lecturers can be categorized as very valid. The practicality test will be conducted by a lecturer in the electrical engineering department and 20 electrical engineering students who have taken practical housing installation courses. The practicality questionnaire filled out by the lecturers was stated to be very practical and the results from the respondents were very practical. The effectiveness test was carried out by testing the material using the Langlois Tae 1-3M trainer for 4 meetings with 4 different materials with 10 student participants. From the three tests, it can be concluded that the Langlois Tae 1-3M trainer jobsheet is very valid, practical and effective to be used as a supporting job sheet for housing installation practicum courses.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the application of online learning due to COVID-19, the implementation of academic activities in a pandami atmosphere at various universities eliminates face-to-face lectures and replaces them with online learning from home from various media. Jobsheet is a learning media for students to provide guidelines in completing a practicum. The purpose of this research is to develop jobsheets appropriate to use so as to improve the quality of the practicum lecture process and improve student understanding in mastering the lecture material. Types of research Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Valid assessment jobsheet carried out by experts consisting of media experts and material experts, while practicality was assessed by lecturers and students, then for effectiveness seen from the results of practical learning when using jobsheet using Proteus 8 Professional software. The instrument collects data using a questionnaire. The results of this study were obtained jobsheets based on virtual laboratory based on media experts and material experts get valid categories. Practicality assessments assessed by course lecturers are categorized as very practical, then practicality assessments from students are categorized as very practical. Assessment of the effectiveness of the results of the practicum is categorized as effective. So that jobsheets developed can be used by lecturers to convey material in practical learning activities.

Abstract

The SCADA-based AC motor monitoring and control system is a three-phase induction motor monitoring and control system. Motor speed regulation feedback is obtained from the tacho generator which is connected to the pulleys. The SCADA program manages inverter and microcontroller communications so that the process of monitoring the speed of an induction motor is done through a computer. Induction motor speed regulation using VSD as an inverter functions to adjust the source frequency so that the motor speed can be adjusted. Communication between VSD, PLC and SCADA uses the MODBUS protocol to monitor the performance of the induction motor. The main equipment uses ATV12HU22M3 inverter and CQM1H PLC. The CX-Programmer and CIMON software function to manage and monitor in real time the system. The results of the induction motor settings can be adjusted with VSD speeds ranging from 0-50 Hz. PLC as master control and SCADA function as distance controller.

Abstract

Internet of thing (IoT) is a system that will change the order of human life and industrial operations. In the future, objects that are operated daily with human interaction will be equipped with internet connectivity which is equipped with various sensors so that they are able to communicate and act on the information obtained without human intervention. The problem is that the ecosystem has not been fully developed as well as from the world of education which will prepare its human resources. Apart from that, the industrial sector which is predicted to be the largest user is still considering various things such as cost, security, non-conformity with the existing system and the ability of its resources. The system created is an effort to develop knowledge in the IoT field as an effort to bridge the need for human resources, especially at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. This IoT application for electrical load control is designed and built using the main components of NodeMcu V3, 4 channel relay, and Android with the Blynk application installed. Electrical load control commands are given using the Blynk application via Android and delivered to the NodeMcu V3 module using a Wifi intermediary and from NodeMcu V3 forwarded to 4 channel relays to control electrical loads in the form of ON and OFF. The results of the test show that the system built can operate properly in controlling electrical loads
