Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu ingin mengetahui seberapa tingkat perundungan siber, regulasi emosi, serta pengaruh perundungan siber di media sosial dan bystander terhadap regulasi emosiremaja Se-Kabupaten Pemalang. Populasi yang diambil di dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP se-Kabupaten Pemalang. Berdasarkan data yang peneliti dapatkan, adapun jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.815 siswa. Kemudian, penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 326 siswa yang didasarkan pada proporsi siswa setiap angkatan. Data diambil dengan penyebaran skala kepada responden menggunakan skala psikologis, berupa skala perundungan siber, skala regulasi emosi, dan skala bystander yang masing-masing reliabilitasnya 0,960, 0,772, 0,677. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis deskriptif, serta analisis regresi berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara perundungan siber terhadap regulasi emosi remaja Se-Kabupaten Pemalang, (2) tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara bystander terhadap regulasi emosi remaja Se-Kabupaten Pemalang, (3) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari perundundungan siber di media sosial dan bystander terhadap regulasi emosi remaja Se-Kabupaten Pemalang. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa yang mengalami perundungan siber terutama melalui media sosial baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, mereka akan cenderung untuk melalukan pengendalian emosi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the correlation between emotional intelligence (EI) and learning achievement with social media usage on students. The kind of this research is correlation quantitative. Subjects were 4 of 10 schools with 226 students and using cluster random sampling and purposive sampling. The data were obtained by the questionnaire of social media usage, the scale of emotional intelligence (EI), and the ledger documentation. Validity rate on all of the instruments was high with the level of error 5%, as well as the reliability of the instruments which was also high. Abstract

The demand for a better education system will result in not only a better academic achievement but also students with better character. Particularly in this digital era, it is very important to integrate technology in the process of guidance and counseling services at schools. This article aims to provide a critical review of implementation and application of classical guidance with format flipped classroom in coping with the advance of technology as an effort that can be made by school counselors in order to make innovation in guidance and counseling service at schools. This research method is a literature study. This study collected and analyzed relevant journals related to the use of flipped classroom. Class guidance with flipped classroom format has the potential to help school counselors to manage classical guidance and stimulate students to be active, communicative, and contributive to the process of guidance so that the topic presented can be addressed directly. In addition, by doing this, it is expected that students can develop themselves well in their social, academic, and career life. School counselors can use flipped classroom guidance to make innovation in performing classroom guidance services. The steps to perform flipped classroom guidance, in brief, are determine the topic to be discussed based on the need of the student, creating service program plan, then setting up the activities that the students will do in pre-class activity and inside the class, the implementation of the activities and evaluation, and follow up.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the relationship between students’ academic procrastination with the intensity of social media use. This study employed quantitative approach with correlational design. The subject of the study was 419 students of the State University of Semarang from various faculties, they were selected by using random sampling technique. The data collection instrument of the study were social media use scale and academic procrastination scale. The data were analyzed using product moment. The result of the study showed coefficient correlation (r) of -0.344 and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). This means that there is positive and significant relationship between academic procrastination and social media use intensity. The higher the academic procrastination, the higher the intensity of social media use, and vice versa. The result of the study can provide contribution to the school counselor as a prediction and initial data before providing guidance and counseling service on academic procrastination and being wise in social media.Keywords:

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of systematic desensitization techniques to reduce exam anxiety in grade VIII students at SMP N 3 Ungaran. The study used a quantitative approach with experimental types and the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects in this study were five students.  This study uses a random assignment to determine the subject of the study. Data collection using a scale of anxiety to face the test. The study results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results of the analysis show that Rational Emotive Behavior (REB) counseling with systematic desensitization techniques is effective in reducing student anxiety in facing exams. The results of the study provide recommendations for counselors to facilitate students in reducing anxiety in facing exams in students through systematic sensitization techniques. Further research can use the results of the study as a reference to determine the effectiveness of other techniques in counseling to reduce exam anxiety.

Abstract

The aim of this community service is to train counselors or counseling teachers to improve counseling skills in schools by using a motivational interviewing (MI) strategy to students. MI Strategies were trained to 31 high school counselors in Semarang City. This training was held for three days with an online process using the Zoom Cloud Meetings application and Google Classroom. To measure the understanding and technical abilities of school counselors in applying the motivational interviewing strategy, researchers used the motivational interviewing instrument. Based on the training results, it shows that there is a significant difference in the ability of the counselor before and after being given the motivational interviewing training.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk melatih e-counseling pada guru BK/konselor pendidikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan e-counseling di kalangan konselor pendikan atau guru BK dalam rangka menyongsong era masyarakat 5.0. E-counseling merupakan proses konseling yang dilakukan oleh konselor profesional kepada konseli dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Pelatihan ini diberikan kepada 25 Konselor pedidikan yang tergabung dalam ikatan alaumni BK UNNES. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode online training dengan dua metode yaitu sinkron dan asinkron yang dilaksanakan selama dua hari melalui aplikasi zoom meeting dan google classroom. Untuk mengukur keterampilan peserta dalam mengaplikasikan e-counseling menggunakan instrument e-counseling. Hasil pelatihan ini menjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan e-counseling pada peserta yang ditujukan dengan peningkatan skor pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan menujukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan konselor sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan e-counseling. Selanjutnya para peserta pelatihan memberikan feedback positif karena pelatihan ini dinilai memberikan wawasan baru bagi mereka berkaitan dengan e-counseling dan berharap pelatihan dapat diberikan lebih intens dan lebih sering sebagai upaya meningkatkan kompetensi dan keprofesionalan guru BK/konselor pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract: Some Western counseling approaches are not applicable in local cultures. Consequently, counselors have to accommodate the local culture to improve the efficacy of their services. This research aims to formulate indigenous counseling based on the Javanese culture of Dasa Pitutur from Sunan Kalijaga. Using that culture, the counselors are expected to improve the participants’ cultural skills and respect for other cultures.  It used the hermeneutic method with discourse analysis to interpret the messages’ structure and pragmatic. The analysis result signifies that the Dasa Pitutur values are relevant with the other group orientation. The primary message taught in Dasa Pitutur is encouraging humans to comprehend their life journey and position to willingly and voluntarily accept their obligations and nature. Linear to their position as a social creature, they have to be aware of the essential values from their relationship, dependency, and appreciation toward other humans. This study can be an enrichment material of cultural values-based guidance and counseling science.Abstrak: Layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dipopulerkan dari Barat tidak semua sesuai dengan nilai-nilai lokal setempat. Oleh karena itu, konselor perlu mengakomodir nilai-nilai budaya setempat agar dapat menunjang keefektifan layanan yang diberikan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk merumuskan konsep konseling indigenous berdasarkan kearifan lokal suku Jawa yang bersumber dari Dasa Pitutur karya Sunan Kalijaga sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan budaya individu untuk respek terhadap kelompok lain. Kajian ini menggunakan metode riset hermeneutika dengan varian analisis wacana untuk menafsirkan struktur pesan dan aneka fungsi (pragmatik) bahasa yang terkandung dalam teks Dasa Pitutur. Hasil pengkajian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Dasa Pitutur relevan dengan orientasi terhadap kelompok lain. Nilai utama yang diajarkan dari Dasa Pitutur adalah mengajak manusia memahami perjalanan hidup dan posisi manusia untuk dapat menerima tugas atau kodrat dengan suka rela atau mengemban tugas dengan hati yang lapang. Selaras dengan prinsip manusia sebagai makhluk sosial yang menekankan hubungan antara satu individu dengan individu lain, dimana setiap manusia hidup bersama orang lain dan saling membutuhkan serta menghargai satu sama lain. Kajian ini berkontribusi sebagai bahan pengayaan teori wawasan dalam bidang ilmu bimbingan dan konseling yang berbasis nilai-nilai budaya.

Abstract

Career adaptability is the preparedness role in work and adjustman to changes in working situation in the future. The purpose of this study was to examine Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach in developing career adaptability of students.The method used in this study was a mix method . Subjects selected through a purposive sampling method that is focused on graduate students at the beginning of the semester with a major in Guidance and Counseling Faculty of Education, Semarang State University. Career adaptability in this study consists of four dimensions, concern, control, curiosity and confidence. Stages of Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) implemented include establishing relationships, Identifying a solvable complaint, Establishing goals, Designing and Implementing Intervention, and termination, evaluation, and follow-up. The results of this study showed Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) is effective in improving the adaptability of student career both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Abstract

The Covid-19 (C-19) pandemic has had a significant impact on the mental health of individuals around the world. Society needs an end to the C-19 pandemic through the state of its herd immunity (HI). Significant roles counsellors in developing herd immunity and then mental health with a blended counselling strategy. This paper aims to design a counselling mix to create mental health and an understanding of herd immunity in the community. The results of the community data are fear, anxiety, anger, insomnia, and prolonged stress as a form of mental health of the community because it is socially and economically constrained. The length of time for the formation of herd immunity to prevent the C-19 pandemic is because people are worried and doubtful about vaccinations so that vaccines appear or do not trust. Significant roles counsellors in the formation of mental health through integrated counselling The implementation of face-to-face and online counselling allows the community to be more flexible and intensive according to conditions in the construction of mental health C-19 pandemic condition and post-C-19 preparations. Blended counselling as an intervention for the community in understanding herd immunity as a form supported the end of the C-19 pandemic. Integrated counselling requires the joint efforts of various relevant organizations for the science and practice of psychotherapy, psychiatry, and counsellor.
