Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam mengembangkan sumber daya masyarakat yang berkualitas. Namun dalam pembelajaran di sekolah, masih banyak tenaga pengajar yang kurang memperhatikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Square terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen, dengan pretest dan postest. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara random. Penelitian ini diawali dengan tes ujicoba perangkat dan instrumen penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Analisis inferensial yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Dari uji regresi diperoleh Fhitung = 14,96 yang menyatakan  persamaan regresi Y= 29,51 + 0,485X adalah baik digunakan untuk memprediksi, kemudian thit = 3,867. Dengan demikian H0 yang menyatakan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-pair-square terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa ditolak. Dari hasil R2 sebesar 32,5% metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair square memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Square baik digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah.

Abstract

AbstrakHipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan yang sering ditemukan di tengahmasyarakat dan mengakibatkan angka kesakitan yang tinggi. Banyak faktor yangdapat memicu terjadinya hipertensi, salah satunya adalah obesitas.Penelitian dengan tujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kejadian obesitas denganhipertensi ilakukan pada masyarakat etnik Minangkabau di 8 kelurahan di kotaPadang. Penelitian ini merupakan studi komparatif menggunakan desain crosssectional study, dengan jumlah sampel 204 orang. Pengumpulan data karakteritikdilakukan melalui wawancara dan pengukuran tekanan darah, berat badan, tinggibadan, dan lingkar perut dilakukan dengan cara yang direkomendasikan WHO.Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji chi square dan uji Independentsample T-test.Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa lebih dari separuh penderita hipertensimengalami obesitas (56,6%) dan obesitas sentral (54,9%) terdapat hubunganbermakna antara obesitas dengan kejadian hipertensi (p<0,05; OR=1,82) danobesitas sentral dengan kejadian hipertensi (p<0,05; OR= 2,72). Uji Independentsample T-test menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan (p<0,05) dimana ada perbedaanrata-rata IMT (p= 0,025) antara responden hipertensi dan tidak hipertensi dan adaperbedaan rata-rata LP (p= 0,002) antara responden hipertensi dan tidakhipertensi.Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubngan antara kejadian obesitasdan obesitas sentral dengan hipertensi pada masyarakat etnik Minangkabau dikota Padang.Kata kunci : Hipertensi, obesitas, obesitas sentralAbstractHypertension is a common health problem in the community and lead tohigh morbidity. Many factors can lead to hypertension, one of which is obesity.The Aim of this study was investigated the relationship of obesity with theincidence of hypertension, was conducted at the Minangkabau ethnic communitiesin 8 districts in the city of Padang. This research is a comparative study using across sectional study, with a sample of 204 people. Data collection was done withthe interview respondent characteristics. Measurement of blood pressure, weight,188ARTIKEL PENELITIANheight, waist and carried out by the WHO recommended. The statistical analysisused was chi square test and independent sample t-test.Results of the study found that more than half of obese patients with hypertension(56,6%) and central obesity (54,9%). Chi-square statistical test showed there wasa significant association between obesity and the incidence of hypertension (p<0,05; OR = 1,82). Likewise with central obesity, showed a significantassociation with the incidence of hypertension (p <0,05; OR = 2,72). Independentsample t-test showed there was a significant mean difference BMI (Body MassIndex) between hypertension respondent and normotension respondent (p= 0,025)and there was a significant mean difference WC (waist circumference) betweenhypertension respondent and normotension respondent (p= 0,002).The conclution of the study suggest association between obesity withhypertension in Minangkabau ethnic communities in the Padang city.Key word : Hypertension, Obesity, central obesity189

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul matematikaberbasis model flipped-blended learning yang valid dan efektif bagi siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA) di kota Medan, Sumatera Utara. E-Modul matematika dikembangkan menggunakan aplikasi SIGIL dalam format EPUB3. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development (R&D) dengan model ASSURE yang terdiri atas 6 tahapan, diantaranya analyse learners-state objectives; select method; media and materials; utilize media and materials; require learner participant; evaluate; dan revise. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI pada tiga SMA di kota Medan, Sumatera Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-modul matematika berbasis model flipped-blended learning valid adan reliabel untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran menurut hasil validasi ahli, dengan nilai rata-rata 3,77 dan masuk dalam kategori baik. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji one-to-one pada kelompok kecil memperoleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,2 dan dan masuk dalam katagorisangat baik,serta hasil uji coba kelompok besar menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-Testberbantuan aplikasi STATCAL mendapatkan hasil bahwa . Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan E-modul matematika menggunakan model Flipped-Blended Learning. E-modul matematika yang dikembangkan terbukti valid dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika bagi siswa SMA.  Kata-kata kunci:E-Modul, Flipped-Blended Learning, Matematika, SIGIL, EPUB3

Abstract

This research was a research development with the reference Four-D model by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel. Subject in this study were eleventh grade students in SMA YPK Medan. Student worksheets validation based on the opinion of the validator from lecturer and mathematics teacher. The practically of student worksheets was analyzed based on: (1) implementation of the used students worksheets in learning process; (2) student’s responses to worksheets developed; and (3) teacher’s responses to worksheets developed. The effectivenees of students worksheets was analyzed based on: (1) a minimum completeness mathematics student’s ability; (2) the ability of teachers to manage learning; and (3) student’s activity in learning process. The result showed that student worksheets used local-culture problem based learning in mathematics learning has been valid, practice and effective. Abstract

The problems experienced by partner schools are obtained through observation and interviews, among them partner teachers having difficulty in finding valid and reliable learning reference sources to use in learning materials during the online learning process. Partner teachers also often obtain links that contain untrustworthy information and are feared to be in the category of Hoax information. Based on these problems, the PKM Team conducted community partnership program activities with the aim of providing training and assistance in the implementation of Hoax information-learning system as an effort to implement anti-Hoax education for teachers during the online-based distance learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of participants in this PKM activity is as many as 28 teachers. The external target of this PKM activity is (1) there is an increase and understanding of the teachers regarding the information of the hoax that are related to social media and other online news media; (2) There is an increase in teacher's skill in using the Hoax information scorer system application that has been planned by team PKM; (3) Improvement of teachers ' skills in the process of going through the Hoax information using the application and checking the information obtained through online search; and (4) Increased teacher motivation and spirit in implementing anti-hoax education in distance learning process during pandemic COVID-19 period

Abstract

The learning model is one aspect that can improve the cognitive abilities of students when applied properly by educators. One of the new learning models and based on previous research that is effectively applied in learning is the ICAP Model. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was a positive effect of the application of the ICAP learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. The paradigm used in this research is Postpositivism, with an experimental method. Data collection techniques through research instruments in the form of mathematical communication skills tests that have been tested beforehand to see the validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used regression test through the SPSS application. The results obtained through data processing using SPSS is that there is a positive effect of the application of the ICAP learning model on students' mathematical communication skills in the Statistics course.
