Abstract

Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif (QD) umumnya dipakai dalam fenomenologi sosial. Salah satu penelitian sosial adalah penelitian bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dalam perspektif bimbingan dan konseling dapat diartikan penelitian dalam bidang bimbingan dan konseling yang tujuannya untuk menyajikan gambaran detail mengenai setting proses bimbingan atau konseling di sekolah dimaksudkan untuk eksplorasi bagaimana suatu bimbingan atau konseling terjadi, apakah bimbingan atau konseling yang telah dilakukan dapat sejalan untuk mengatasi sejumlah variabel yang berkenaan dengan masalah diteliti. Analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif dilakukan sejak sebelum memasuki lapangan, selama di lapangan, dan setelah selesai di lapangan. Langkah langkah analisis data kualitatif meliputi reduksi data, display dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kekuatan penelitian kualitatif paling utama terletak dari fleksibilitas dari gaya peneliti untuk mendekripsikan alur penelitian dengan masalah penelitian yang sangat terbuka. Sedangkan kelemahan penelitian kualitatif terletak dari seberapa cermat peneliti menangkap momen ataupun  data yang penting pada saat penelitian terjadi. Kata Kunci: Deskriptif kualitatif (QD), Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract

Empathy is a person's ability to understand and place a position in accordance with the feelings of others. A student must have empathy to be more sensitive to the surrounding environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the sense of empathy in class VIII MTSN 3 Purwakarta using a questionnaire. The method in this research is to use research and development. This method is used to create a product, as well as to test the effectiveness of a product. The sample in this study was the students of class VIII at MTs Negeri Purwakarta as many as 23 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire containing 6 tests of the characteristics of empathetic people. Analysis of the data used is testing the validity and reliability of SPSS assisted. The results of the study found that 23 statements were valid because the results of the calculation of rcount were more than rtable. The reliability test showed that Cronbach's Alpha coefficient value was 0.788 so it was declared reliable in the high category so that the questionnaire was reliable. Thus this questionnaire can be used to measure students' empathy. Keywords:  Empathy, Validity, Reliability

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of instrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness on students academic achievement. The study first tries to investigate whether there are any correlation between intrinsic motivation and students academic achievement and also the correlation between metacognitive awareness and academic achievement. The study then goes to search whether intrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness when they are combined together have impact on student’s academic achievement. The sample of this study consist of 387 Senior High School students. The data collection is conducted with the use of Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI), Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) and the students’ grades. As a result, it was found that intrinsic motivation has significant impact on the student’s academic achievement, meanwhile metacognitive awareness has no impact on students’ academic achievement. But, intrinsic motivation and metacognitive awareness when they are combined together gave 4% contribution to academic achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan profil minat studi lanjut bahasa asing di perguruan tinggi dan pengaruh ekstrakulikuler bahasa asing di sekolah menenga atas maupun kejuruan di kab. Sumedang pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner minat studi lanjut dan keaktifan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan skala likert untuk mengukur pendapat responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Profil minat studi lanjut bahsa asing di perguruan tinggi siswa sekolah menengah atas maupun kejuruan di kab. Sumedang memiliki kategori tinggi.(2) Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji parametrik data minat studi lanjut dan ekstrakulikuler bahasa asing diperoleh ada pengaruh signifikan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler bahasa asing dengan minat studi lanjut bahasa asing di perguruan tinggi dengan nilai signifikasi 0,025.Kata Kunci: Minat studi lanjut, kegiatan ekstrakulikuler bahasa asing.
