Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of project-based learning models to improve the ability to solve math problems of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 14 Buton Tengah on cube and block material. This study was a type of experiental research. The population of this study were all students of VIII grade with a total of 42 students. The sampel in this study consisted of class VIII A as a control class of 20 students and class VIII B as an Experimental class of 22 students at SMP Negeri 14 Buton Tengah, even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection in this study was carried out using a research instrunent in the form of a test. The data obtained were then analyzed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis and tested the hypothesis in the form t-test. The results obtained: (1) the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class pretest was 36,25; (2) the average student learning outcomes in the control class pretest was 35; (3) the average student learning outcomes in the final test of the experimental class were 85,25; (4) the average student learning outcomes in the final test of thecontrol class amounted to 48,41; (5) based on the results of hypothesis testing whit the t-test, the value of t-count = 7,795 and a significant value of r = 0,00. So that the application of the project-based learning model towards increasing the ability to solve math problems was no more effective than without applying the project-based learning model for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Buton Tengah on cube and block material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the average learning outcomes of students who were taught the assignment method with feedback and those taught the assignment method without feedback in solving integer operations for class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasy experimental) with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study were all Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau who were spread in 3 parallel classes with a total of 93 people. To determine which class is the experimental class and the control class, the three classes are drawn by lot. Selected as the experimental class is class VII B and class VII A as control class. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The instrument in this study was a test of mathematics learning outcomes. Data were analyzed by prerequisite test which consisted of normality test and data homogeneity test. The results showed that there was a difference in the average learning outcomes of students who were taught the assignment method with feedback and those taught the assignment method without feedback in solving integer operations for class VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau. This is indicated by the value of t_count = 4.310 and the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the errors made by students in solving mathematical problem solving problems in linear programming material. The method in this research is descriptive analysis. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 2 Lasalimu Selatan, Lasalimu Selatan District, Buton Regency with the population of this research being all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 2 Lasalimu Selatan, totaling 40 students using a descriptive method whose main concern was the results of students' mathematics tests on linear programming material. Based on the results of the answers of class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri 2 Lasalimu Selatan which have been analyzed by researchers, it can be seen that the errors made by 20 respondents in 5 question numbers are 8 conceptual errors with a percentage of about 8%, principle errors as many as 35 with a percentage of approx. 35%, and operating errors of 35 with a percentage of about 35%. Respondents made a conceptual error because they did not understand the meaning of the problem in translating into mathematical sentences. Respondents made a principle error because they did not understand the rules or formulas to be used. Respondents made operational errors because they made mistakes in algebraic or arithmetical work. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to subject teachers so that students' understanding of understanding concepts, principles, and operations, especially linear programming material, needs to be improved by re-explaining problems that are not understood by these students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi siswa pada proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas XII Madrasah Aliyah Kaledupa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Ex-post Facto, dimana populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Madrasah Aliyah Kaledupa dengan jumlah populasi 36 siswa yang tersebar dalam 1 kelas. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan sampel dari semua anggota populasi kelas XII dengan jumlah 36 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket tentang pembelajaran daring dan dokumentasi nilai ulangan akhir semester genap. Data ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh persepsi siswa pada proses pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas XII Madrasah Aliyah Kaledupa dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 0,628 dengan nilai signifikan yang diperoleh 0,534 > 0,05.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori yang berjumlah 53 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner dan tes prestasi belajar siswa. Validitas kuesioner menggunakan validitas isi dan validitas konstruk. Reliabilitas dihitung dengan rumus Cronbach Alpha. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) rata-rata data kecerdasan emosional sebesar 77,91 dengan simpangan baku sebesar 9,375 dan 2) rata-rata data tes prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 68.87 berdasarkan hasil analisis inferensial dengan melihat uji normalitas terdapat nilai signifikan kecerdasan emosional dan prestasi belajar sebesar 0,200. nilai konstan sebesar 27,472. Koefisien regresi untuk variabel kecerdasan emosional sebesar 0,524. Sehingga diperoleh persamaan regresi sederhana . R Square yang  diperoleh sebesar 0,508 yang menandakan bahwa faktor kecerdasan emosi memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematika sebesar 50,8%, sedangkan 49,2% selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kapontori.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, keberfungsian pengecoh soal ulangan semester genap bidang studi matematika kelas V SD Negeri 1 Katobengke. Adapun jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah jenis penelitian Terapan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Ulangan Semester II kelas V tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SD Negeri 1 Katobengke. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa yang mengikuti ulangan semester II kelas Va bidang studi matematika tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Sedangkan jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 30 siswa. Analisis data yang diajukan analisis kuantitatif yang digunakan untuk mengolah data hasil penelitian, dalam hal ini menganalisis data, meliputi tingkat kesukaran soal, daya pembeda soal, dan pengecoh soal. Dari hasil penelitian analisis butir soal bidang studi matematika siswa kelas V semester II tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SD Negeri 1 Katobengke dapat dikemukakan beberapa kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) tingkat kesukaran soal terdiri dari 15% soal mudah, 85% soal sedang, dan tidak ada soal yang sukar, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesukaran soal tes yang diselidiki ini termasuk kurang baik; 2) daya pembeda soal terdiri dari 10% soal dengan daya pembeda sangat rendah, 20% soal dengan daya pembeda rendah, 55% soal dengan daya pembeda cukup, 15% soal dengan daya pembeda tinggi, dan tidak ada soal yang mempunyai daya pembeda tinggi; dan 3) pengecoh soal terdiri dari 60% memiliki pengecoh yang baik dan 30% tidak memilikih pengecoh yang baik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic on the Mathematics learning achievement of twelfth grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Kaledupa. This type of study was a quantitative research with ex post facto method, with a research population of 26 students in one class with 12th grade science students at SMA Negeri 2 Kaledupa. This study used the entire sample of class 12 with the number of students 26 students. The instruments were an online learning questionnaire and a form of documentation of even semester final exam results. The results of this data analysis through simple linear regression analysis, it was concluded that online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic had no impact on the mathematics learning achievement of 12th grade science students at SMA Negeri 2 Kaledupa. This could be seen in the calculated F value of 0.569 with a critical value of 0.574 > 0.05, this meant that H0 was accepted. In other words, there was no effect of the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic on the mathematics learning achievement of twelfth grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Kaledupa. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student responses in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IX students at the junior high school level and the equivalent in Baubau City. This research is an ex-post facto research, which was conducted in junior high school and equivalent in Baubau City. The population is all students of class IX SMP and equivalent in Baubau City (that is, SMP and MTs both public and private) as many by as 3170 students. The research sample was taken as many as 314 students. The instruments used are questionnaires and tests of students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the analysis on the regression test with a significant value of 0.024 0.025 and a t-value of 2.266 state that there is an effect of student responses in online learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade IX junior high school students and the equivalent in Baubau City.Keywords: student response, online learning, the covid-19 pandemic, mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the difficulties experienced by students in solving fractional operations problems in addition and subtraction of fractions. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 6 Lasalimu Selatan, Lasalimu Selatan District, Buton Regency with the sample of this research being all class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Lasalimu Selatan, totaling 32 students using a descriptive method whose main concern was the results of students' mathematics tests on the subject of fractional operations. From the results of the analysis and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the difficulties faced by the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Lasalimu Selatan in solving fractional operations problems are the difficulties of concepts, principles, and skills. Concept difficulty with 17 errors and a large percentage of about 13.08%, principle difficulty with 24 errors and a large percentage of about 18.46%, and skill difficulty with 59 errors and a large percentage of about 45.38%. Therefore, it is necessary to emphasize to students about the concepts, principles, and skills used in fractional arithmetic operations (especially the operation of adding and subtracting fractions) by re-explaining problems that students do not understand and giving relevant assignments with these difficulties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan pendekatan Open-Ended terhadap kemapuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Baubau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan Open-ended dan desain penelitian pretes-postest control grup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Baubau. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling yaitu kelas VIII 5 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan VIII 4 sebagai kelas Kontrol. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: 1) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada tes awal kelas eksperimen sebesar 49,56; 2) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kretaif siswa pada tes awal kelas kontrol sebesar 46,63; 3) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada siswa pada tes akhir kelas eksperimen sebesar 73,38; 4) rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada tes akhir kelas kontrol sebesar 52,81; 5) berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t diperoleh nilai = 10,32 dan nilai = 1,69726. Apabila dibandingkan dengan , maka sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran pendekatan Open-Ended dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Sehingga pendekatan Open-Ended mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematika siswa.
