Abstract

Excretory system material is a classified as difficult to understand by studenst because the material is still abstract, all proscesses that cannot be seen directly because they are in the human body. The limitations if learning media at SMAN 8 Padang have not supported learning on ecxcretory system material. The solution to this problem is to make interactive multimedia. This study is purpose to produce learning media products in the form of interactive multimedia based on practical on excretory system material for class XI students of SMAN 8 Padang. This type of research is research and development (R&D) research with using the 4D Model. The subject of this research was two lecturer Jurusan Biology FMIPA UNP and one teacher of SMAN 8 Padang and thirty the XI grade students of SMAN 8 Padang. The result of validation shows an average value of 91,77% with a very valid category. Based on this, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia developed is valid.

Abstract

Misconception is a concept that doesn’t suitable with the concept recognized by experts. Misconception whom occur in students’ selves prohibit the formed of relation with the new concepts and disrupt the realization of learning process. Misconception may occur in learning of biological concepts, for example in substance transport material. This material contains the concepts that underlie the understanding of students to know the further biological concepts. Understanding of substance transport material has been obtained since at school and it’s difficult to understand for abstract reasons so it has the possibility of misconception. Therefore, misconception needs to be known by teacher and followed up early. The aim of this research is to identify the misconception on the concepts of substance transport material which experienced by first year class students in study program of Biology Education of UNP. This research is descriptive research which conducted in study program of biology education. The population of this research are 179 students of class 2017. The sample is 25% of 179 members of population, which is 45 members. The taking of sampling used simple random sampling technique. The data used are primary data which taking by using multiple choice test accompanied by Certainty of Response Index (CRI) and analyzed through quantitative technical analysis by percentage.Based on the analysis of data, it can be known that the percentage of students with the highest misconception is on the concept of passive transport mechanism about 23,03%, then on the concept of active transport mechanism about 22,69%, on the concept of transport mechanism through ensocytosis and exocytosis about 21,11%, and the lowest is misconception on the concept of cell membrane structure about 15,55% Keywords: Misconception, substance transport, CRI

Abstract

The purpose of this research is develop a module of spiritual nuance on viruses material for students SMA/MA valid and practical. This research uses 3 of 4 stages 4D models that is define, design, and develop. The developed product was validated by 4 validators including 3 lecturers of biology and 1 biology teacher of SMAN 12 Padang, while for practicality will be done by 33 students of SMAN 12 Padang. The data of this study include the primary data obtained from the questionnaire filled directly by the subject of research. Based on the result of the study obtained the validity of 3,61 with very valid criteria, practicality by teachers 3,49 with very practical criteria and practicality by students 3,38 with very practical criteria.

Abstract

Quality of education can be realized with the procurement of instructional materials in the form of module in accordance with demands of the curiculum 2013. Module in accordance with the curiculum 2013 containing values of spiritual intelligence, social and emational intelligence, intelctual intelligence and skilfulness intelligence. These four intelligence are known as comprehensive intelligence, but the module wich is contains a comprehensive intelligence valid and practical. This research is design development study that uses a PLOMP method, wich is consisting of three phases: preliminary research, development or prototyping phase, and assesment phase. The research was conducted in SMAN 4 padang with the subject of the research of the students of grade X MIA 1 and grade X MIA 5 SMAN 4 Padang and the object in this research is a module prodct containing comprehensive intelligence about the function material for class X SMA/MA. The data is primary data namely the data obtain directly through questionnaire validity and practicality on the subject of research. From the result of this research, found that the module has a comprehensive intelligence on valid and practical materials, the resulting module is very practical by teachers and learners in terms of language criticism, learning efficiencies and benefits.

Abstract

Padang City is the epicenter of the spread of Covid-19 in West Sumatra. The government has issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Covid-19 vaccine, but scholars in the city of Padang are still unsure about vaccination. Therefore, further efforts are needed to provide the right understanding to Padang city clerics about the importance of vaccination, along with its safety and halal. One of the efforts is through the implementation of this community service. This activity has conducted in June 2021, and was attended by 28 participants from 11 sub-district clerics in the city of Padang. The results of the evaluation of the activities show that there has been an increase in the knowledge of scholars about Covid-19 vaccination. In conclusion, this activity has been effectively carried out and can expand the vaccination program in order to break the chain of spread of Covid-19 and achieve herd immunity.

Abstract

Guru berperan sangat penting dalam memilih dan menggunakan media yang digunakan untuk membantu proses pembelajaran namun masih banyak ditemui kurangnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru, sehingga siswa kurang mampu memahami materi pembelajaran secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo tentang materi virus untuk peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan Model 4D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua orang dosen dan satu orang guru sebagai validator penggunaan e-learning. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Tahap pengujian kelayakan media ini dilakukan dengan cara validasi produk oleh pakar. Hasil validasi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 92,56 dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil validasi ini ditinjau dari beberapa kategori yaitu aspek kelayakan isi, aspek kebahasaan, aspek sajian dan aspek kegrafikan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket validitas. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat membuat siswa menjadi tertarik dan lebih mudah mengerti dengan materi yang diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Berbasis Edmodo ini baik dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menjelaskan materi pembelajaran, karena materi yang banyak dengan waktu yang terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan menghasilkan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo yang sudah teruji validitasnya pada materi sistem gerak kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang dosen jurusan Biologi dan satu orang guru Biologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode pencatatan dokumen berupa angket/kuesioner dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif.  Berdasarkan hasil validasi media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Edmodo pada materi sistem gerak yang divalidasi oleh dosen dan guru dari segi kelayakan isi media diperoleh dengan nilai rata-rata 82,50 digolongkan ke dalam kriteria valid. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata 80 dalam kategori valid pada aspek kebahasaan. Ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan sajian didapatkan nilai rata-rata 83,33 dengan kriteria valid, pada aspek kelayakan kegrafikan diperoleh nilai 83,33 dengan kriteria valid. Rata-rata nilai validasi yang diperoleh yaitu 82,29 dengan kriteria valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran ­e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sistem gerak dapat dikatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Selain itu, pada masa pandemi guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menjelaskan materi pembelajaran, karena materi yang banyak dengan waktu yang terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan menghasilkan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo yang sudah teruji validitasnya pada materi sel kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang dosen jurusan Biologi dan satu orang guru Biologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode pencatatan dokumen berupa angket/kuesioner dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif.  Berdasarkan hasil validasi media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Edmodo pada materi sel yang divalidasi oleh dosen dan guru dari segi kelayakan isi media diperoleh dengan nilai rata-rata 90 digolongkan ke dalam kriteria sangat valid. Diperoleh nilai rata-rata 90 dalam kategori sangat valid pada aspek kebahasaan. Ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan sajian didapatkan nilai rata-rata 93,05 dengan kriteria sangat valid, pada aspek kelayakan kegrafikan diperoleh nilai 90,27 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Rata-rata nilai validasi yang diperoleh yaitu 90,83 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran ­e-learning berbasis edmodo pada materi sel dapat dikatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology has made many changes in the field of education, including innovations that make it easier for teachers and students in learning activities. One of the innovations in the field of education is the blended learning model. A blended learning model that combines the advantages of face-to-face learning with distance learning to make learning activities more effective. One of the platforms that can be used in blended learning is edmodo. This platform combines social communication with learning so that learning activities can also be monitored properly by parents of students. This research was conducted to see how the effect of the blended learning model using the Edmodo platform on the effectiveness of learning biology. The research was carried out using a systematic literature analysis method known as meta-analysis. Data were obtained from 20 articles and processed using the effect size formula. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been carried out, the results obtained are 1,01 with a high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of edmodo has a high influence on the effectiveness of learning biology.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum the learning process uses 21st century skills, while for the assessment process uses authentic assessment. Based on the observation of class VII SMP Negeri in Lima Kaum Tanah Datar district, the teachers in the school have not fully implemented the Curriculum 2013. This resulted in a gap in the compliance of National Education Standards, especially on process standards and assessment standards.The aim of this research is a describe the understanding of science teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum in the class VII especially on standard process and assessment standard. This research was conducted in junior high school in Kecamatan Lima Kaum Tanah Datar. The population in this research is science teacher in class VII consisting of 8 science teachers.The sampling technique used is total sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and document analysis. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage technique and made according to the descriptive sub indicator.The results revealed the understanding of science teachers on the implementation of Curriculum 2013 class VII in SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Lima Kaum Tanah Datar. 1. Understanding of science teachers on the implementation of Curriculum 2013 based on process standard that is 80,5% with good criteria. 2. Understanding of science teachers on the implementation of Curriculum 2013 based on the standard assessment is 83.4% with good criteria.
