USER EXPERIENCE TEST OF FROG VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WEBSITE (STUDENT MODULE) Rahma Fitria

Abstract

Education website is becoming popular to student in learning and accessing education materials. One of the education learning system adopted by Malaysia government which is Frog Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). This website has been used by all students around Malaysia. In order to have an effective learning environment during study, the website need to be tested by users to give feedbacks how the feel of the website after use. The purpose of this study is to perform user experience (UX) test on Frog Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The UX test was conducted at computer laboratory of Sekolah Menengah Al Madrasah Al Alawiyah Ad Diniah Perlis with 6 students who have ever used the website rarely. During the test user was given several tasks regarding to the website while the facilitators conducted observation in order to analyze the usability metrics. The data gathered will reveal the strengths and weeknesses of the website. Usability Score is measured based on ISO usability metrics including effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. The result of this UX test revealed that the website is not user-friendly which has been proved by the usability score about 60% or below avarage. It is expected that this study could be adopted by software engineers or usability testers to produce a user-friendly education learning  website that make students comfortable and easy to use the website.

Abstract

Data mining explores a huge amount of data to extract the information to be meaningful. In the field of public health, data mining hold a crucial contribution in predicting disease in early stage. In order to detect diseases, the patients need to conduct various tests. In the context of disease predicion, Data mining techniques aims to reduce the test that patients need to accomplish. Also the techniques is used to increase the accuracy rate of detection. Nowadays, diabetes attacks many adults in the world. Moreover, in order to reduce the number of adult having diabetes, an effective and efficient diabetes detection mechanism should be found. This report will apply some data mining techniques on diabetes dataset that has been downloaded at UCI Machine Learning Repository.Three kind of classification algorithm such as Naïve Bayes Classifier, Multilayer Perceptrons (MLP’s) and Desicion Tree (J.48) have been performed on this dataset. Obtained outcomes indicated that Naïve Bayes Classifier achieved the highest accuracy with 76,30%. As the result, this algorithm is a good method to classify and diagnose diabetes diseases on studying dataset.

Abstract

Forum diskusi umum adalah media penyalur aspirasi untuk bermusyawarah secara umum yang berupa ide, gagasan, serta pertanyaan dalam pemecahkan masalah. Kegiatan berdiskusi dapat membahas antar mahasiswa dalam membahas segala persoalan. Dari permasalah tersebut forum diskusi umum yang telah dirancang bertujuan untuk pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa program studi sistem informasi universitas malikussaleh agar diskusi yang dilakukan terpusat, dimanapun, kapanpun serta mendapatkan manfaat bukan hanya untuk yang bertanya tetapi juga semua pengguna yang terkait. Hasil dari forum diskusi umum yang dibangun untuk program studi sistem informasi merupakan tempat berinteraksi antara mahasiswa dengan mahasiswa lainnya untuk kepentingan secara umum. Hasil uji coba pada Forum diskusi umum berbasis ini dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk berdiskusi agar menghasilkan pendapat yang akurat serta relevan. Di harapkan forum diskusi ini dapat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa di prodi sistem informasi Universitas Malikussaleh dan dapat menjadi panduan pembuatan forum diskusi bagi prodi lainnya.

Abstract

Modern computer network implements tasks from routing, monitoring traffic, accessing control and balancing server load. Software-Defined Networking (SDN) has become a new radical model where the network is programmable. The network can be simplified and managed through network programmability. In addition, SDN offers a very good interface between networking devices and the software that control this activity. This paper presents the SDN architecture, ForCES, and OpenFlow protocol to allocate information exchange. Oracle and HP is presented as an organization that built SDN product by having different architecture. Abstract

The Regency Apparatus Work Unit (SKPK) is an apparatus of the Regional Government (Provincial and Regency/City) in Indonesia. SKPK is the executor of executive functions that need to be coordinated for the success of government administration. The legal basis for the formation of the SKPK is in article 120 of Law No. 32 of 2004 concerning Regional Government. The Department of Communication,  Informatics, and Encryption Service (Diskominfosa) is an agency that is fully responsible for processing information within the Government in Indonesia. The purpose of this application is to collect the data in various offices in Bireuen Regency and store it in the database. The system is web-based that uses the PHP framework Codeigniter 3 and also using the Bootstrap framework. Initially, this study applied field research using the interview as the primary data and the Reports of the Evaluation on Accountability Performance at The Regency Apparatus Work Unit of Bireuen District as the secondary data. In developing the application, the waterfall is applied as a software model used. As the result, the application shifted the manual data processing into the system such as filtering the report based on a daily, monthly, and even yearly basis. In addition, they can check the status of their application data by entering the SKPK code that has been made. This SKPK application data collection information system was created with the aim of making data management orderly and checking the status of the Regency Apparatus Work Unit (SKPK) application easier and more precise.

Abstract

Website e-commerce ini sangat sering digunakan oleh masyarakat indonesia dalam menjual barang. Untuk memudahkan UMKM dalam memasarkan produk di e-commerce shopee, website ini perlu diuji oleh pengguna untuk memberikan umpan balik bagaimana nuansa website setelah digunakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan uji user experience (UX) pada e-commerce shopee sebagai penjual. Uji UX dilakukan di ruangan yang di set-up seperti di laboratorium dengan 10 pengguna yang tidak pernah menggunakan website shopee tersebut sebagai penjual. Selama pengujian pengguna diberikan beberapa tugas terkait website sementara fasilitator melakukan observasi untuk menganalisis usability metrics. Data yang dikumpulkan akan mengungkapkan kelemahan dan kelebihan situs web. Usability score diukur berdasarkan metrik kegunaan ISO termasuk efektivitas, efisiensi dan kepuasan. Hasil pengujian UX ini menunjukkan bahwa situs web tersebut lumayan ramah terhadap pengguna yang dibuktikan dengan uasbility score sekitar 84% atau di atas rata-rata.

Abstract

Guru yang profesional memilki kemampuan dalam mengadaptasi dari perkembangan ilmu, khususnya pada teknologi informasi. SD IT Al Alaq Dewantara, sebuah sekolah di Aceh Utara yang memiliki guru-guru masih kurang mahir terhadap perkembangan teknologi informasi yaitu pada software Microsoft Office seperti pembuatan daftar isi, daftar pustaka, pembuatan presentasi yang interaktif dan menarik untuk anak-anak, serta pengolahan angka serta hasil evaluasi belajar anak dan pelaporan keuangan lainnya. Tujuan dari pegabdian ini meningkatkan profesionalitas seorang pendidik dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian terdiri dari metode 2 (dua) pendekatan yaitu pendekatan edukatif yang fokus kepada mitra pengabdian dan tim pengbadian serta pendekatan partisipatif adanya kegiatan dalam penyusunan program, implementasi program dan evaluasi kegiatan. Dari hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian ini, terlihat perubahan yang signifikan terhadap wawasan dan ilmu pengetahuan yang didapat oleh para mitra pengabdian yaitu memberikan dampak adanya peningkatan dan kemampuan dalam penggunaan Microsoft Office.

Abstract

E-commerce sites have become popular for sellers in promoting their business during the covid-19 pandemic. One of the e-commerce that is used in promoting business is shopee. . This e-commerce website is very often used by Indonesian people in selling goods. In order to make it easier for middle-range businesss to market their products on e-commerce shopee, this website needs to be tested by users to provide feedback on how the website feels after use. The purpose of this research is to test the user experience (UX) on e-commerce shopee as a seller. The UX test was carried out in a room set-up like in a laboratory with 10 users who have never used the Shopee website as sellers. During testing, users are given several tasks related to the website while the facilitator makes observations to analyze usability metrics. The data collected will reveal the weaknesses and strengths of the website. Usability score is measured based on ISO usability metrics including effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. The results of this UX test show that the website is quite user-friendly as evidenced by a usability score of around 84% or above average. It is expected that this research can be adopted by software engineers or usability testers to produce user-friendly e-commerce that makes users comfortable and easy to use the website.

Abstract

The manual metric measurement is time-consuming due to the large number of users and test criteria. Additionally, not all tester is able to complete all metrics measurement correctly in time. Software testers can process and analyze test data much more easily when using information systems in conducting usability testing. The purposes of this study is to develop a web-based information system of ISO metrics measurement and conducting usability tests on the Shopee application with 10 users. The level of usability of the Shopee application is highly dependent on measuring user happiness with the application. Usability testing matrics measurements are based on ISO measures that include effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. The system is feasible to use and runs normally, according to the calculation results interpreted based on the Likert Scale, which came to 66.924%. However, there are still many users who do not understand how to use the features. It’s expected that this research will help sotware tester to improve the quality in conducting usability testing as well as provide feedbacks from the user in order to elevate the ease of use of the application.
