Abstract

Titonia could be used as alternative fertilizer to reduce up to 50% the chemical fertilizer aplication of chili, gardamon, maize, soybean and sweet potato. The titonia which grow as alley croping system(20 rows ha-1) could produced 6,6 -6,8 ton ha-1 y-1 of dry biomass with 2 months pruning period. This amount equal to 40 ton ha-1 y-1 of fresh biomass of titonia. Such amount of biomass content 150-240 kg ha-1 y-1 of N and 156 – 245 kg of K that could be used to replace the 50 % of chemical fertilizer. In the rhizosphere of titonia was observed the micro organism has role in increasing the production of biomass such as micorhizae, bacteria diluted P, Azotobacter, Azospirillium, and bacteria produced of phitohormon. We assume that the re-inoculation of those microorganism in to the rhizosphere of titonia might contribute in increasing of titonia biomass and nutrients yield. The study of the re-inoculation of such microorganism to the rhizosphere of titonia in order to find out the kind of micro organism which highly contributed in increasing of biomass was conducted. The study was conducted by using completed randomized designed with10 treatments and 5 replications. Those treatments are A=without reinoculation (control); B=bacteria diluted phosphate (bdp); C=Azotobacter; D=Azospirillium; E=bacteria produced phytohormon (bph); F=bdp+Azotobacter; G=bdp+Azospirillium; H=bdp+bph; I=bdp+Azotobacter+Azospirilliun; J=bdp+Azotobacter+Azosprilliun + bph. The result of study showed the combination of the reinoculation to the rhizospehere in increasing of biomass and nutrients yield of titonia were (1)Bacteria diluted phosphate; (2) Azospirillium; (3) Bacteri diluted phosphate + Azototobacter; (4) Bacteria diluted phosphate +Azospirillium; dan (5) Bacteria diluted phosphate +Azotobacter +Azospirillium.Keywords: Agen Hayati, Titonia, alternative fertilizer

Abstract

Utilization of arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi (FMA) is an alternative way to improve soil fertility. Therefore, it must be developed by studying deeply the effectivity of the FMA. This is important due to either its ability to associate with almost all of vegetation family in terrestrial ecosystems or its ability to increase plant growth rate, seedlings quality, and crop yield, especially on critical land. A research about effectivity of variously indigenous arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi on P-sorption and Jatropha growth was conducted at laboratorium and glasshouse Agriculture Faculty, Andalas University. This research was aimed to gain the most effective isolate of arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi on growth of and P-sorption by Jatropha (Jatropha curcas L.) plant on critical land. Single isolat such as Glomus sp2, Acaulospora sp1, Gigaspora sp1, and compound isolate M7 (Glomus sp2,+ Acaulospora sp1 + Gigaspora sp1) significantly affected plant height, canopy dry matter, infection percentage and intensity, and P-sorption. M7 Compound isolate was the most effective innoculum. By this isolate, height of Jatropha seedlings was 27.5 cm, canopy dry matter 5.9 g, infection percentage 78.5%, infection intensity was 49.1, and P-sorption by canopy was 1.6 g for each seedling. Abstract

In establishing a CV (Limited Partnership), there are 2 types of partners: limited partner and active partner. Active partner acts as a managing partner in a CV. In its development, a problem arises as when the director dies so that the CV has to stop temporarily, including in its legal act toward the third party and vice versa. The result of the research showed that the position of the clause in the changing of active partners can be changed because of saisine principle concerning the right and obligation of the testator’s assets or financial liabilities adhered to his heirs. It is recommended that the regulation of CV should be confirmed, especially about the position and the liability of the new active partner of the CV. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membangun aplikasi berbasis Android Mengenai kesehatan ibu dan anak (KIA). Untuk pengumpulan data primer, Penelitian ini mengunakan teknik wawancara, sementara untuk data skunder, penelitian ini melakukan pengumpulan data dengan cara dokumentasi atau riset perpustakaan, internet, serta buku-buku yang memiliki hubungan dengan penelitian. Metode pengembangan sistem yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengunakan Metode waterfall yang memiliki kelebihan yaitu ketika semua sistem dapat didefenisikan secara utuh dan benar diawal proyek, maka software engineering dapat berjalan dengan baik tanpa masalah. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan sebuah permasalahan yang menuntut penulis untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis Android kesehatan ibu dan anak (KIA). Dimana dalam pengembangan sistem yang telah dilakukan penulis mengunakan alat bantu pembuatan program yaitu Eclipse. Dari aplikasi yang telah dibuat, diperoleh sebuah aplikasi yang memiliki kelebihan yaitu kalkulator perhitungan perkiraan masa kehamilan, perhitungan berat badan ideal ibu hamil dan anak, perhitungan perkiraan masa subur, serta informasi mengenai kesehatan ibu dan anak (KIA).

Abstract

The general objective of this study was to describe the profile of Elementary School Principals at District of East Curup. In this study also uses qualitative descriptive method becauseresearchers wanted to describe and interpret objects in accordance with the actual situation. The results of this study concluded that: 1) educational qualifications Elementary School Principal se subdistrict East Curup have met the criteria and requirements as the principal, although there is notyet, but in the settlement, 2) experience the Principal is enough, 3) the principal's own good competence, 4) years of service principals that have no more than one period and some are not quite the period, 5) the principal has also been able to resolve the problems it faces.Keywords: profile, principal

Abstract

Population growth rates cause an increase in food demand, but the planting area is decreasing due to land-use change. The land available to be utilized by farmers is mostly suboptimal land. The disadvantages of suboptimal land are low pH values ​​(4.7) and a small number of nutrients (Nitrogen = 0.11%, Phosphorus = 0.45 ppm, very low Carbon, very high Aluminum, and medium Cation exchange capacity) and for increasing the value of suboptimal land can be given organic fertilizer such as cattle manure and kieserite. This study aims to determine the effect of cattle manure and kieserite on rice growth with the SRI planting system in suboptimal land. The study was carried out in farmers' paddy fields at Ambacang Market, Kuranji District, Padang from June to October 2019. This experiment uses a completely randomized design (CRD). Data were analyzed by the F test at a 5% significance level. If it is significantly different, it is continued with the Honestly Significant Difference test (HSD) at the 5% significance level. The results showed that the application of cattle manure and kieserite can increase the height of rice plants and the number of tillers.

Abstract

Tujuan tulisan ini adalah pertama, untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian sebelumnya tentang lindi, biochar dan mikroorganisme terhadap pemanfaatan lindi TPA. Kedua mengetahui metoda penelitian yang digunakan pada pengolahan lindi terhadap penurunan bahan berbahaya pada lindi dan pemanfaatan lindi sebagai sumber pupuk cair bagi tanaman. Metoda penelitian yang digunakan peneliti sebelumnya pada umumnya bertujuan untuk menurunkan kandungan bahan/zat yang berbahaya yang terkandung di dalam lindi TPA sehingga lindi TPA tersebut jika dibuang ke lingkungan tidak mencemari tanah, air dan lingkungan keseluruhan.  Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan berbagai metoda yang diterapkan dapat memperbaiki kandungan lindi TPA yaitu menurunkan kadar COD, BOD, kandungan logam berat, nitrat, sulfat, pH dan bahan lainnya sehingga aman dibuang ke lingkungan serta lindi TPA dapat digunakan sebagai sumber nutrisi bagi pertumbuhan tanaman. Namun dari penelitian tersebut belum ditemukan peranan biochar dan mikroorganisme pada lindi TPA sebagai bahan untuk pembuatan pupuk cair bagi tanaman. Kata kunci: lindi TPA, biochar, mikroorganisme, pupuk cair

Abstract

Nagari Sungai Abang is one of the areas in Lubuk Alung District, one of the rice production centers in Padang Pariaman Regency. One farming group that intensively cultivates rice is the Farming Business group. The problem with the farmer groups is their ignorance of the benefits of straw as a source of organic matter in the soil. The composting process is long, so farmers always burn rice straw after harvest in preparation for planting the following season. If the burning of straw is carried out continuously, it is feared that nutrients will be deficient in the soil. This activity aims to empower Farming Business groups in Nagari Sungai Abang, Lubuk Alung District, to utilize Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) as a bio activator in making straw compost as organic fertilizer and an alternative to addressing the problem of straw waste in Nagari Sungai Abang, Lubuk Alung. This activity has been carried out in the Farming Group of Farmers in Sungai Abang Dalam Nagari Sungai Abang, Lubuk Alung District, Padang Pariaman Regency. The method used is outreach, counseling, and training to demonstrate making PGPR suspension and compost from straw. From the activities that have been carried out, ready-to-use PGPR is obtained as a bio activator reproduced in coconut water media and used as a bio activator to speed up the composting process. The conclusion of this activity is increasing farmers' understanding of the benefits of straw as a raw material for compost and the use of PGPR as a bioactivator in making straw compost.

Abstract

Glyphosate is a widely used herbicide in the world, including in Indonesia. Many studies have reported that the use of glyphosate is harmful to soil microorganisms and, few reports on the effect of glyphosate on the growth and yield of corn. This study investigated the growth and yield of sweet corn cultivated on Ultisols under the effect of Glyphosate application. This study used a completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications in the greenhouse from July to November 2022. The treatments were the volume of herbicide consisting of 0, 5, 6, and 7 L/ha (equivalent 0, 2.43, 2.91, 3.4 Kg glyphosate-isopropyl ammonium/ha). The height of corn with the treatment 5 L/ha before 50 DAS got the highest value among all treatments with statistical differences. The 5 L/ha treatment also gave the best weight on corncob and corn roots at harvest time. The yield in the treatment 5 L/ha was 8.72 tons/ha, which was higher than the other treatments with no herbicide application, 6 L/ha and 7 L/ha, that gave 7.82, 6.89, and 6.33 tons/ha, respectively. From the results of this study, we can conclude that glyphosate affects the yield of sweet corn, which tends to decrease when glyphosate is used more than 6 L/ha.
