Abstract

Grammathopyllum scriptum merupakan salah satu anggrek yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis tinggi. Anggrek ini tersebar di wilayah Papua dan Sulawesi. Tanaman anggrek sulit untuk dikembangbiakan secara alami, termasuk G. scriptum, sehingga dibutuhkan teknik kultur jaringan untuk membantu pelestariannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kombinasi hormon 2,4-D dan kinetin terhadap induksi protocorm like bodies (plb) anggrek G. scriptum secara in vitro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor perlakuan yaitu kombinasi 2,4-D (2mg/L, 4 mg/L, 6 mg/L, 8 mg/L, 10 mg/L) dan kinetin (1 mg/L dan 2 mg/L) serta kontrol (MS0) dengan 3 ulangan. Data yang diambil berupa data kualitatif dengan mengamati morfologi plb, dan data kuantitatif dengan menghitung panjang plb. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi hormon 2,4-D dan kinetin tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang plb.42,5% eksplan membentuk plb. Plb terbentuk pada konsentrasi 2 mg/L 2,4-D dan 1 mg/L kinetin hingga konsentrasi 6 mg/L 2,4-D dan 1 mg/L kinetin.

Abstract

Traditional medicine has always been inherent in society. most pass it on to their children and grandchildren, in the hope of not dying replaced by modern medicine. Scrapings are the most popular alternative medicine. This study was conducted to find out how scrapings are carried out from the perspective of society and science, involving 50 respondents. The research method was carried out with a qualitative approach by describing the acquisition of data obtained from in-depth interviews through questionnaires supported by a literature review. The results showed that 64% of people had done scrapings and chose it because it was not only cheap but also had many benefits. In addition, from a scientific point of view, scrapings can increase tissue temperature, dilate capillaries, improve local blood circulation, increase blood and oxygen supply and strengthen local tissue metabolism. In addition, the red rash due to scraping is inflammation as a form of the body's response that does not cause skin damage.  Keywords: scrapings, culture, traditional medicine, science, medical

Abstract

Microalgae identification can be done by observing cell morphology using a microscope. This study aims to identify the species of microalgae found in well water Kudus city. This study used descriptive qualitative methods. The population in this study well water in the Kota Kudus subdistrict. The samples were taken in seven villages in Kudus city with five repetitions. Observation is made in the biological laboratory of the Islamic Institute of Kudus. The results of data analysis use comparative data with previous research. This research indicates there are 11 species of microalgae found in well water in Kudus city is Fragilaria sp., Closterium sp., Ulothrix sp., Tabellaria flocculosa, Diatoma sp., Palmellococcus protothecoides, Navicula sp., Vaucheria sp., Hydrodiction sp., Anabaena sp., dan Spirogyra sp. Keywords: Identification Microalgae, Microalgae, Regency of Kudus District Identifikasi mikroalga dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengamati morfologi sel menggunakan mikroskop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi spesies mikroalga yang terdapat di dalam air sumur di Kecamatan Kota, Kabupaten Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah air sumur di kecamatan kota Kabupaten Kudus. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 7 desa di kecamatan kota dengan masing-masing 5 kali ulangan. Pengamatan dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kudus. Hasil analisis data mengunakan perbandingan data dengan penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya11 spesies mikroalga yang ditemukan pada air sumur di Kecamatan Kota, Kabupaten Kudus yaitu Fragilaria sp., Closterium sp., Ulothrix sp., Tabellaria flocculosa, Diatoma sp., Palmellococcus protothecoides, Navicula sp., Vaucheria sp., Hydrodiction sp., Anabaena sp.,dan Spirogyra sp.
