Abstract

An Analysis Learning Outcomes on Intructional Algebra Operation of Gagne Phases Aplication. Thisresearch was carried out the respond and activity student and learning outcome on instructionalalgebra operation of gagne phases application in September – October 2003 on SMP Kalam KudusPekanbaru. Sample of the research is the third studens (IIIB experiment class, IIIC control class). Thedata was conducted with test (pre test, post test). Observation and questioner methods. The dataanalyzed by descriptive statistic and inferensial. Result showed the students actrivity is effective andthe positively students responses. Gagne phases application is significant to increase learning outcomestudents (18.101 > 4.110, α = 0.05) of algebra operation.

Abstract

Absract : This classroom action research is aimed to improve learning process and mathematics learning outcomes by implementing Problem Solving Strategy in Problem Based Learning. The research subjects are 40 heterogeneous academic ability level students of the VII8 class of Junior High School 8 Pekanbaru in academic year of 2015/2016. This research implemented in two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e: namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. By the end of each cycle, formative test was given. The data was collected by doing observation of teachers and students activities and formative test. The research shows learning process improvement after the implementation Problem Solving Strategy in Problem Based Learning.  Most of student participated actively and responsible in the learning process like discussing, presenting, responding and drawing the lesson conclusion. The member of students passing the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) on base score, formative tes I (first cycle), formative test II (second cycle) were respectively 37,5%, 67,5% and 85%. The persentage of KKM achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation , this it can be said that the students learning outcomes also increase. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of Problem Solving Strategy in Problem Based Learning can improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes of VII8 class students at state junior high school 8 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

Abstract: This classroom action research is aimed at improving learning process and improving mathematics learning outcomes by implementing Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The research subjects are 24 heterogenous academic ability level students of the VIII1 class students at MTsN Muara Fajar in academic year of 2016/2017. The research consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of four phases, i.e; namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. By the end of a cycle, daily test was held. The data was collected by means of observation and daily test. The action success indicators were if there is learning process improvement and the increasing number of students passing Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) in daily test I and daily test II. The research shows that teachers and students’ activities were conducted well as planned. Most of the students participated actively in the learning process e.g. discussing, presenting student’s worksheet, responding to classmate’s presentation, and drawing the lesson conclusion. Additionally, the students afforded to answer the written test given by teacher well. Therefore, it can be said that improvement of learning process took place in every meeting. Furthermore, the number of students passing the MCC on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 6 students (25%), 7 students (29,2%), dan 12 students (50%). The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students’ learning outcomes also increase. Finally, the research also shows that cooperative learning with Think Pair Square approach can improve mathematic learning process and learning outcomes of VIII1 class students at MTsN Muara Fajar.Key Words: Math Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach, Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the results of observations and interviews conducted by researchers in schools on learning tools used by teachers who do not show learning activities that involve students directly in finding and applying mathematical concepts in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. Therefore, the researcher develops the learning tools of mathematics in the form of syllabus, the learning implementation plan and the student worksheet based on discovery learning model with valid and practical for curved face three dimensional objects topic. This research and development use development model ADDIE. The steps of this research and development are need analysis, collect the reference, design the learning tools of mathematic, develop the learning tools of mathematic, validated by three validators and further revised based on the input from validators. The revised is test to small group consist of nine students of class IX SMP Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The result of data analysis from the developed mathematics learning tools shows the average of syllabus valisation is 2.96, the average validation of the learning implementation plan is 3.34, the average validation of the student worksheet is 3.25, and the practical level of the student worksheet is 83.23 %. Based on the analysis of data and discussion can be concluded that learning tools developed in the form of syllabus, the learning implementation plan and the student worksheet have been assessed valid after through the validation process and the student worksheet are developed also have qualified practicality for students use class IX after going through the test phase.Key words: Learning Tools of Mathematic, Development, Discovery Learning Models, Curved Face Three Dimensional Objects

Abstract

Abstract : This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning process and to increase the outcomes of mathematics learning of the students by applying discovery learning. The subjects of this research are the students of classSMPN 1 Teluk Kuantan at the second semester of academic years 2017/2018 which total number of participants are 30 students, consists of 14 male students and 16 female students with heterogeneous academic achievements. This research has two cycles. Each of them has four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collecting instruments consist observation sheet (learning process) and the students' worksheet. Learning device used in this research consists of Syllabus, Lesson plan, and Student work sheet. The data were analized by narrative descriptive and statistical descriptive. The data were obtained from the observation sheets of teacher and students activities that showed the learning process has improved after the model being implemented. From the data of the student’s evaluation test, it showed that that the frequency of the number of students who reached the standard category, good and very good in the frequency distribution table increased from base score to Quiz I, and from Quiz I to Quiz II. The number of students who reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria from the basic score to Quiz I increased by 3 people with a 10% increase, and from Quiz I to Quiz II increased by 4 people with an increase of 13.4%.Key Words : The outcomes of mathematics learning, Discovery Learning, class action research

Abstract

Abstract:The background of this research is a learning process and mathematics learning outcomes are not optimal in the class VII.6 Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru in the even semester academic years 2013/2014. The research was classroom action research to improve learning process andmathematics learning outcomeswith applied the cooperative learning Numbered Head Together structural approach. There are 40 students in the class, consist of 17 boys and 23 girls.This research consist of two cycles, and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics learning outcomes test. The instrument of data collection on this research are observation sheets mathematics learning outcomestests. Analysis data of observation was performed with narrative descriptive analysis and analysis data of mathematics learning outcomeswas performed with  descriptive statistical analysis. Result of this research showed an increase in students from the base score (62,5%) to 65% on the first test and 80% on the second test. Results of this research indicates that the cooperative learning Numbered Head Together structural approachcan improve learning process and studentsmathematics learning outcomes class VII.6Junior High School20 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : This research aims by the students’math achievement at class X.1 SMAN 9 pekanbaru. This research is aims to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at class X.1 SMAN 9 pekanbaru in Three-Dimensional, through the implentation cooperative learning model of structural Think Pair Square. The subject are 32 students from class X.1 SMAN 9 pekanbaru consist of 10 male and 22 famale students with the heterogenous level. Technique of collecting the data use observation and math achievement test. The finding of the study indicated that there is improve in students’ achievement that can be seen from the percentage of students’ achive passing gradewith average is about 40,63%. The percentage of the score increase about 50,00% at the first test and about 65,63% at the second test. Based on the finding can be concluded that the implentation of cooperative learning model of structural approach Think Pair Square to improve students’ math achievement at class X.1 SMAN 9 pekanbaru of Three-Dimensional on main topic of second semester 2013/2014. Abstract

Mathematical communication ability (MCA) has not been developed well, expected to beachieved through generative learning (GL). The study was quasi experiment with Postest Control GroupDesign, aims to assess student’s achievement of MCA, the subject was students of grade X of twoPublic Senior High School (upper and middle level), and one Private Senior High School (lower level)in Pekanbaru with a set of test instruments MCA. The Data were analyzed by t-test and one-wayAnova. The results of study show that achievement of average students’ of MCA as a whole throughGL 13.08 (59.45%), conventional learning (CVL) 11.11 (50.50%); upper school level through GL14.70 (66.82%), CVL 13.03 (59.23%); middle school level through GL 13.38 (60.82%), CVL 10.34(47%); and lower school level through GL 11.13 (50.59%), CVL 9.90 (45%); on high mathematicalprior knowledge (MPK) through GL 13.48 (61.27%), CVL 11 (50%); middle MPK through GL13.09 (59.50%), CVL 11.56 (52.55%); and lower MPK through GL 12.64 (57.45%), CVL 10.40(47.27%). Conclusion: the achievement of average students’ of MCA through GL was higher thanCVL; but as a whole, based on school level, or MPK group were middle.Keywords: achievement, mathematical communication ability, generative learning

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research. This research aims to increase the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SDN 142 Pekanbaru through the implentation of cooperative learning in the type Student Team Achiement Division (STAD). The subject of this research is 30 student at class III SD Negeri 142 Pekanbaru which consists of 16 boys and 14 girls with the heterogeneous ability level. This research consist of 2 cycles, of which each cycle in composed of stages, which is planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument of data collection in this research were observation sheet and the test mathematics learning outcomes. An action is deemed successful when the number of students that reached the Mastery Minimum Criteria had increased by the first and second daily exams. The qualitatif analysis descriptive narrative showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action of the first cycle to the second cycle. The result showed an increasing number of student who achieve the Mastery Minimum Criteria from the basic score with the percentage 59,17% to 66,9% on the first daily test and 74,13% on the second daily test. Based on that result, it can be concluded that the implentation of cooperative learning in the type Student Team Achiement Division (STAD) can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students at class III SD Negeri 142 Pekanbaru on second semester academic years 2014/2015Key Words: The mathematics learning outcomes of students, Cooperative Learning in Type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), Classroom action research.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on problems of learning process in the class IXD SMP Negeri 10 Tapung which is teacher-centered, less students are given the opportunity to actively participate in building their own knowledge affecting low student’s mathematics achievement. From the test of results obtained in similarity and congruence main topic just 8 students (33,33%) who achieve minimum mastery criteria (KKM). This research is classroom action research that aimed of this to improve learning process and increase students’ math achievement at class, through the implementation of think talk write strategy in cooperative learning. The subject of this research are 24 people, there are 12 boys and 12 girls with the heterogenous level. The instruments of data collection were observation sheets and mathematics achivement tests. Teacher and student activity’s data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive and mathematical understanding ability data were analyzed with quantitative descriptive. Based on data’s analyz can be concluded that the implementation of think talk write strategy in cooperative learning can improve the learning process and increase students’ math achievement at class SMP Negeri 10 Tapung of first semester 2015/2016 of geometry with curved side on main topic.Key Word : Students’ math Achievement, Think Talk Write Strategy In Cooperative Learning, Classroom Action Research.
