Abstract

This study aims to: 1) describe the Sintang Sintang Malay cultural social system; 2) The description of the language system includes the language used by the Sintang people in their daily interactions in order to communicate with each other; 3) A description of the knowledge system that can help the survival of the Sintang Malay community; 4) a description of the Sintang Malay cultural living equipment system in the Sintang Kingdom poem; 5) description of the Sintang Malay cultural livelihood system; 6) description of the Sintang Malay cultural religious system; 7) a description of the Sintang Malay cultural arts system. This study uses a descriptive method, with a qualitative research form. The source of data in this study comes from the verses of the Sintang Kingdom. The results of the study are as follows, the first data concerning the social system contains quotes about the stanzas regarding the aspects of deliberation to reach consensus, both in the inter-work environment, between royal members, and in a smaller environment, namely the nuclear family. used in syair. The third data is a knowledge system which is divided into knowledge of human nature, knowledge of nature, knowledge of objects. The fourth data is about living equipment which is divided into several aspects, namely transportation of ships, bidars, and canoes. The production is cerana, the clothing aspect is clothes, selawar, and songket cloth. There are traditional weapons, namely kris and cannons. The existence of a place to live or shelter, namely awnings, tents and mosquito nets, the existence of a container, namely the existence of a bamboo or lampstand as a place for lamps, as well as food and drink aspects, namely sherbet and juadah water. The sixth data, the religious system has aspects of marriage salvation, thanksgiving celebrations, worship, and the occult. The seventh data, which contains the art system on the sense of sight, the presence of Malay dance and theater and the sense of hearing, the presence of musical instruments typical of the Malay community.Keywords: Culture, Sintang Malay, Sintang Kingdom Poem

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Kekerasan Terhadap Perempuan dalam novel Isinga: Roman Papua karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany. Masalah dalam penelitian bagaimanakah bentuk kekerasan fisik dan  kekerasan nonfisik terhadap perempuan dalam novel Isinga: Roman Papua karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany. Penelitian karya sastra sangat penting dilakukan. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui relevenasi antara karya sastra dengan kenyataan yang ada di masyarakat karena nilai-nilai yang ada dalam sebuah karya sastra mencerminkan realita sosial yang dapat memberikan pengaruh kepada masyaraka. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan feminisme Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan dalam novel Isinga: Roman Papua karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany terdapat delapan bentuk kekerasan terhadap perempuan yaitu penculikan, eksploitasi tenaga perempuan, ditampar, dipukul, ditendang, diinjak, dibuang, dan dibunuh. Sedangkan  kekerasan fisik terhadap perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel Isinga: Roman Papua karya Dorothea Rosa Herliany terdapat empat bentuk kekerasan yaitu dipaksa menikah, diguna-guna, dikecewakan, suami berhubungan seksual dengan perempuan lain. Dampak dari kekerasan tersebut perempuan mengalami penderitaan fisik dan psikologis.Kata kunci: kekerasan, perempuan, novel, isinga: roman papua This research is entitled Violence Against Women in Novel Isinga: Roman Papua by Dorothea Rosa Herliany. The problem in this research is the form of physical violence and non-physical violence against women in the novel Isinga: Roman Papua by Dorothea Rosa Herliany. Research on literary works is very important. This is done to find out the relevance between literary works and the reality in society because the values in a literary work reflect social reality that can give effect to society. The approach used is the feminism approach. Based on the analysis and discussion it can be concluded in the novel Isinga: Roman Papua by Dorothea Rosa Herliany, there are eight forms of violence against women, namely abduction, exploitation of women, being slapped, beaten, kicked, trampled, thrown away, and killed. While physical violence against women is found in the novel Isinga: Roman Papua by Dorothea Rosa Herliany, there are four forms of violence, which are forced to marry, be used, disappoint, the husband has sexual relations with another woman. Abstract

The aim of this research is; 1) investigating the level of online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 2) analyzing the influence of differences in gender, years of study, major in determining online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 3) to analyze the relationship between online learning satisfaction and student academic achievement during COVID 19. The population was 656 students at STKIP Singkawang, and then a sample of 357 students (87 males and 270 females) was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was adapted from Aman's Satisfaction instrument, which was then used to collect research data. Data analysis using SPSS with descriptive statistical techniques, MANOVA, and correlation. The results showed that online learning satisfaction was at a high level, meaning that students were satisfied with the online learning that had been implemented. The major differences have a significant effect on determining online learning satisfaction. Intercorrelation shows that there is a significant relationship on each indicator of online learning satisfaction with academic achievement, meaning that the higher the satisfaction felt by students in online learning, the student's academic achievement will increase.

Abstract

Stress on students is more common and varied. Therefore, a good coping strategy is needed in order to control stress and increase academic achievement. The purposes of this study are: 1) to describe the level of academic stress and coping strategy; 2) to investigate the effect of the differences of gender, age, marital status, years of study and degrees on academic stress and coping; and 3) to analyze the relationship between academic stress, coping and academic achievement. This research used a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population was 340 Indonesian students in Wuhan, China. The samples of 184 students (73 male and 111 female) were taken with a simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in collecting data are the Scale for Assessment Academic Stress and the Stress Coping Style Inventory. The results showed that academic stress was at a moderate level dominated by cognitive stress indicators. Coping was at a moderate level dominated by active emotional coping. Different demographic factors have a significant effect on academic stress and coping. Intercorrelation shows the relationship between several indicators of academic stress and coping but no significant relationship with academic achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:1) untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa sebelum menggunakan media musik 2) untuk mengetahui  keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa setelah menggunakan media musik 3) untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh keterampilan menulis cerpen siswa dengan menggunakan media musik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Bengkayang. Sampel Penelitian ini adalah kelas XA dengan  jumlah 37 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang meliputi pretest, treatment, dan posttest. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk one group pretest dan posttestdesign. Adapun data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui tes. Sebelum instrumen digunakan terlebih dahulu diuji validitasnya dengan ahli. Untuk instrumen tes sudah memenuhi kriteria validitas isi, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu dengan menggunakan rumus rata-rata ( Mean) dan yang kedua menggunakan rumus regresi linier. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest siswa kelas X A SMA Negeri 3 Bengkayang menggunakan media musik mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai pretest 44,05 dan nilai posttest 75,67 dengan kategori baik. Jadi pengaruh media musik terhadap keterampilan menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 bengkayang sebesar 3,35 dengan kategori tinggi, hal ini dibuktikan dengan metode effect size.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, 1. Mengetahui keterampilan menulis puisi sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe concept sentence, 2. Mengetahui keterampilan menulis puisi sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe concept sentence, 3. Melihat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe concept sentence terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 20 Singkawang tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen, menggunakan bentuk Pre Exprimental Design, dan pada penelitian ini digunakan rancangan One-Group Pretest-Posstest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Singkawang. Dalam penelitian ini sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Penelitian pada tahap pertama atau pretest memperoleh mean sebebsar 68,56. Penelitian pada tahap kedua atau posstest memperoleh mean sebebsar 85,72, hasil mean yang diperoleh sangat berbeda dengan hasil mean yang di dapat pada saat tahap pretest. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear dengan bantuan SPSS versi 17 maka jika nilai sig 0,150 (>) 0,05 dapat dikatakan ada hubungan dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe concept sentence terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji t diperoleh nilai Thitung lebih besar dati nilai Ttabel yakni 9,020 > 1,710,  hal ini dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan nyata antara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah digunakannya model pembelajaran cooperative tipe concept sentence. Dengan diperolehnya hasil uji t tersebut maka hipotesis Ha yang berbunyi pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe concept sentence terhadap hasil belajar menulis puisi diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reciprocal teaching, (2) Mengtahui seberapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reciprocal teaching, dan (3) Mengtahui respon siswa tehadapnditerapkannya model model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reciprocal teaching pada materi mengungkapkan hal-hal yang dapat diteladani dari buku biografi dengan membaca intensif. Bentuk penelitian ini pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design.Dalam rancangan penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran berupa pretest kemudian diberikan perlakuan dengan jangka waktu tertentu, kemudian dilakukan pengukuran berupa posttest. Instrumen tes berupa tes esai yang telah diuji cobakan dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0,54 kriteria cukup. Berdasarkan perbandingan tes awal (pretest) sebelum perlakuan dan tes akhir (posttest) setelah diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reciprocal teaching diperoleh hasil nilai bahwa nilai posttest lebih tinggi dari nilai pretest, sehingga diperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,53 dengan kriteria sedang. Keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reciprocal teaching pada materimengungkapkan hal-hal yang dapat diteladani dari buku biografi memperoleh nilai sebesar 87,865% kriteria baik sekali. Untuk respon siswa secara keseluruhan terhadap materi mengungkapkan hal-hal yang dapat diteladani dari buku biografi menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reciprocal teachingdengan persentase sebesar 62,85%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan materi mengungkapkan hal-hal yang dapat diteladani dari buku biografi dengan membaca intensif melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe reciprocal teaching di kelas VII B MTs Darul Ulum Cepala dapat dikatakan meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this public service activity is to provide information and knowledge to people in the border areas of the electoral procedure in 2019 which will be held in April 2019. Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan Filtrasi air sederhana ini dimulai dengan mengkaji tentang kendala yang dihadapi masyarakat tentang kebersihan air yang digunakan yang disebabkan oleh masyarakat sebagian besar mengandalkan air sungai untuk kebutuhan sehari-harinya. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan dan melatih masyarakat di daerah perbatasan cara mendapatkan air bersih dengan cara membuat penyaringan sederhana yang bahan-bahannya mudah didapat. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melaksanakan penyuluhan, sosialisasi, praktik pembuatan filtrasai air sederhana serta evaluasinya. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu terlaksananya kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan filtrasi air sederhana sehingga menambah wawasan masyarakat Desa Kumba bahwa air sungai dapat disaring dengan cara sederhana menjadi air bersih.

Abstract

Training and mentoring program aims to facilitate the community in Pangmilang Village Singkawang especially for mothers of households to take advantage of the patchwork that often is not considered useful to be harnessed into a doormat. The patchwork can be collected from the local tailor was in the village Pangmilang, so it has the potential to be used as an extra income by making doormats. The resulting mat has three different types and models of doormats, i.e. the model's braids, mats models and model leaves. In the implementation of training and mentoring still-based household industries with capital and limited production, the production process is still very simple. The program is realized through the method of STM (socialization, training, and mentoring), namely through the practice directly in the field. Results obtained from the training and mentoring programs are the housewives are already skilled in making doormats made from patchwork foot and it can market products produced in the region around the Village Pangmilang.
