Abstract

This research aim to determine the effect of the organization commitment, leadership style and work environment toward the intensity of the employees to stay on PT. Perkebunan Musirawas Citraharpindo office partially and simultaneously. This research is a casual research. The data collection method was using questionaires in the form of a questionaire distributed to 106 respondents. The data analysis method was using multiple linear regression analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics version 24. Result of the research shows that (1) there is no partial effect between organizional commitment and the intention to stay, (2)  Leadership style has no partial effect toward the intention to stay, (3) Work environment has no effect toward the intention to stay,(4) while the simultaneous way has an effect equal to 1.6% between the organization commitment, leadership style, and work environment variable toward the intention of the employees to stay on PT. Perkebunan Musirawas Citraharpindo office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of career development variables, work motivation and compensation in PT. Tribun Berita Online partial and simultant on the level of employee loyalty. This research has three hypotheses tested that will be explained, where the three hypotheses will be explained partial tested. This study uses a statistical analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics Application 23. The data of the research respondents were obtained as many as 62 respondents using the characteristics of regular employee with more than 2 years (> 2 years). The results of this study simultant there is an influence between career development, work motivation and compensation for employee loyalty at PT. Tribun Berita Online. However, only partial tested career development variables have a positive effect on employee work loyalty, but work motivation and compensation don?t have a partial tested effect on work loyalty.

Abstract

Padatnya kendaraan bermotor di Jogja, diatasi oleh Pemerintah Daerah dengan mengeluarkan transportasi Bus Trans jogja. Harapanya dengan adanya transportasi public maka kemacetan lalulintas di Yogyakarta dapat diatasi. Meskipun jumlah penumpang semakin hari semakin bertambah Namun demikian  keluhan masyarakat masih banyak mengemukan. Kesuksesan Trans Jogja dalam mengatasi kemacetan lalulintas sangat tergantung pada tingkat kepuasan konsumen atas kualitas layanan Trans Jogja.Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini adalah analisis tingkat kepuasan dengan membandingkan kinerja dengan harapan kemudian dikalikan dengan tingkat kepentingan, tabulasi freswensi, dan performaa importan matrik. Data dikumpulkan dari 100 responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan  sampling aksidental.Hasil analisis kinerja-harapan menunjukkan bahwa dari seluruh atribut pelayanan memiliki skor negatif yang rendah artinya konsumen tidak puas namun ketidak puasan mereka hanya pada tingkat rendah. Hasil analisi performa importan matrik menunjukkan pelayanan yang menyebabakan kepuasan konsumen adalah; jenis bus yang nyaman, perlengkapan dan peralatan, tampilan bus, jumlah bus, tampilan Halte bus, pakaian dan penampilan petugas, jenis bus yang digunakan sesuai kebutuhan, pelayanan sesuai dengan yang dijanjikan, pelayanan yang akurat, sikap simpatik petugas dalam memberikan solusi, Keterandalan bus Trans Jogja, Kesesuaian dengan jadwal  pemberangkatan dan, kedatangan,  akurasi prosedur pembayaran, kenyamanan dalam melakukan perjalanan, informasi kepastian kedatangan  bus, pelayanan  yang segera/cepat, kesediaan petugas  membantu penumpang, kesanggupan petugas  menanggapi setiap permintaan  penumpang dengan cepat, dan perasaan  aman ketika menggunakan jasa Trans Jogja.Item-item pelayanan yang menyebabkan ketidakpuasan kosumen  adalah: perlengkapan dan peralatan halte, jumlah halte bus, fasilitas untuk kaum difabel, halte bus sesuai kebutuhan penumpang, akurasi prosedur pembayaran, kenyamanan dalam melakukan perjalanan, dan informasi kepastian kedatangan  bus. Kata kunci: Trans Jogja, tingkat kepuasan, Performa-important matrix

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to integrate causality model between environment, knowledge sharing behavior, and strategic planning process, to innovation and performance. The sample of the research is small and medium sized enterprise of handicraft industry that made of leather, e.g. shoes, leather jackets, bags, luggage, belts, wallets, and other products made of genuine leather which still can’t compete in East Java. Structural Equation Modelling is used to process the data. The result shows that from the nine tested hypotheses, there are 7 (seven) accepted tests (and they have significant impact), and there are 2 (two) unaccepted tests (and they have insignificant impact), such as the impact of environment and knowledge sharing behavior to business performance. The findings of this research are, first, the impact of sharing behavior/developing knowledge to work performance of small and medium sized enterprise should use innovation as antecedent variable, and second, the impact of environment changes to work performance of small and medium sized enterprise is determined by strategic planning variable mediation. A stronger work environment changes force the enterprises to create effective strategic planning process intensity, which do some sustainable information search about market and other information to create creativity in product making designing and services. The implementation of small and medium sized enterprise’s knowledge management is not only just to share knowledge about their market, but also must be followed by increasing the knowledge/ability of the employers, giving opinion about employers’ performance, fluently communicating, and using technology to design product and facilitate communication. New idea in this research is knowledge sharing behavior at SMEs, which have a significan role to create innovation and creativity to enhacing performance.Keywords: Environment, Knowledge Sharing Behavior, Strategic Planning Process, Innovation, and Performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of the industrial revolution 4.0 and human resources that are decreasing even more desire to leave (turnover intention) in employees, especially in the millennial generation. Where the loyalty level of millennials is still relatively low, so millennial employees easily have plans to leave the company where they work. The purpose of this study was to find out whether job insecurity and job satisfaction partially affect the turnover of millennial employees' intentions in the industrial revolution 4.0. The data collection method is done through a questionnaire in the form of google form which was distributed to millennial employees of UKSW. The samples taken were 97 people. Statistical analysis used in this research is validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination analysis. The data obtained were then processed with SPSS and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that job insecurity and job satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on the turnover intention of millennial employees in the industrial revolution 4.0 era.

Abstract

Abstract— The aim of this research is to explore how supply chain management (SCM) of small and medium (SMEs) business gaining successful succession. This study tries to fill the gap in previous studies concerning supply chain effectiveness in SMEs, especially in family business. To gather information, we carried out a series informal individual deep interviews, with key informants of Lunpia Semarang located in Semarang city. Using metafor from mitosis of cell, produced business-mitosis perspective successful succession in third generation of small family business. In this context, the application of the concept of SCM in the operation strategy of SMEs seems to be a very important function. This supply chain also covers all three aspects of sustainable development: business, environmental, and social. The result of study revealed that Lunpia Semarang have three business entities namely Lunpia Pemuda, Lunpia Mataram, and Lunpia Gang Lombok, and each of them is an independent business. Thus it can be concluded that the for gaining a competitive advantage, SCM is an effective tool to SMEs, which to deliver the right product and service at the most opportune time and at the lowest possible cost to the right customer.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how to overcome the employee skill mismatch that works with the company. The research was conducted at the hotel because of the high of its business competition and the gap between the number of hospitality education institutions and the number of hotels in operation that had consequences for the occurrence of skill mismatch. The findings of a previous study of skill mismatch concluded that there was a disruption in competitiveness and productivity in companies using employees with skills and education gaps. Using a multi-case study technique, data collection was carried out in five-star hotels, three-star hotels and one-month period June-August 2018 in Semarang. The results of the study show that the effort to overcome the mismatch skill in the company is to conduct employee learning. There are differences in the learning process of employees in overcoming skill mismatch, where the higher the star classification in the hotel business the higher the involvement of the company. In other words, the smaller the classification of hotel stars, the individual efforts of employees to learn to overcome the mismatch skill is also greater. Based on these findings, this study uses the learning organization theory as a frame of mind and analysis.

Abstract

Green event remains an issue under debate in the effort to support sustainable tourism today, because the result of the previous research has not found a standard model for the implementation of the green event concept. This research describes the views of the village tourism managers on the green event model developed by the Bali State Polytechnic. Green events are developed on the basis of two aspects: green and cultural aspects. Data were collected through questionnaires sent by email and by post to village tourism managers. There are a hundred tourist villages planned to be developed in Bali and all are made research samples. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The results of the study indicate that the understanding of green aspects includes green foods, waste management, natural materials, and ecosystem is averagedly quite good. The result of the analysis from the cultural aspect is very good, meaning that the culture practised  by the community gives a strong impetus to keep the environment sustainable so that the harmonious relationship with nature, humans, and God is maintained through the activities in Tourism Villages. Other results indicate that an understanding related to the ecosystem, the green food, and the waste management needs a special attention to further improve understanding. Green event as an alternative product in supporting the tourist village is very much expected by the managers that will further be synergized with the existing culture. The combination of both green event and existing culture is quite unique and will constantly keep the concept of sustainable tourism. These findings give a contribution to the theory of green tourism or sustainable tourism which is built upon the event and based on the blend of modern and traditional concepts. Keywords: green event,  sustainable tourism,  tourism village, culture
