Abstract

Cooperatives are one of the business units which purpose is to help the economy of small and medium-sized communities. One of the cooperatives in the city of Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia is KPN Kapur Warna. The routine business unit managed by KPN Kapur Warna is for savings and loans. So far, the savings and loan process is still done manually, including determining the eligibility of members to receive loans. Determination of the eligibility of members is carried out less objectively, by only looking at the profile of participants in general and the decision-making process is only carried out by one person, namely the chairman of the cooperative. The process that has been carried out so far has often resulted in wrong targets, namely providing loans to members who are not appropriate, resulting in bad credit or delays in paying monthly installments of participants. Therefore, we need a group decision support system that can help solve the above problems. In this study, a group decision support system was made using the AHP, TOPSIS and BORDA methods using five main criteria. The AHP method is used to determine the priority value for each criterion and the TOPSIS method is used to rank each alternative. Each decision maker performs the same process with the two methods, and then voting is carried out using the BORDA method of combining assessments for different decision makers. This study succeeded in providing a reference in determining the eligibility of which members are entitled to receive loans from cooperatives, with results that are more subjective and can help cooperatives in their work efficiently.

Abstract

This research focuses on improving the accuracy  of email and twitter classification. Spelling mistakes and lack of matches with bag of word causes the low accuracy in classifying. This research used naïve Bayes as a text classification algorithms. Text is divided into three categories: personal, work and family. To achieve maximum likelikehood value for  the category, a better preprocessing techniques is needed. It is necessary for the process to normalize the preprocessing and search for words that correspond to classes in the bag of word. So that the text can be classified by category or has a higher precision accuracy.

Abstract

Fuzzy Mamdani has been mostly used in various disciplines of science. Its ability to map the input-output in the form of a surface becomes an interesting thing. This research took DSS case of a scholarship grantee. Many criteria in taking a decision need to be simplified so that the result obtained remains intuitive. The model completion by conducting two stages consisted of two phases. The first phase consists of four FIS blocks. The second phase consists of one FIS block. The FIS design in the first phase was designed in such a way so that the output obtained has a big score interval. FIS output at the first phase will become FIS input at the second phase. This big value range becomes good input at FIS in the second phase. Each FIS block has different total input. Until the surface formed must be seen from various dimensions to assure trend surface increasing or decreasing softly. This kind of thing is conducted by observing the movement of output dots kept for its soft surface form. The output dots change influenced by the membership function, the regulations used, total fuzzy set, and parameter value of membership function. This research used the Gaussian membership function. The Gaussian membership function is highly suitable for this DSS case. This article also explains the usage of a fuzzy set in each input, the parameter from the membership function, and the input value range. After observing the surface form with an intuitive approach, then this model needs to be evaluated. The evaluation was done to measure the model performance using Confusion Matrix. The result of model performance obtained accuracy in the amount of 85%.

Abstract

MDM is a trade cooperative business unit that supplies healthy food options for consumers around the Andalas University campus. So far, the selection of suppliers that provide supply goods to the stores is only based on the trust between both parties, which is the principle of mutual acquaintance and kinship. The problems that may arise from a process like this are the lack of the right supplier, unavailability of goods, relatively higher product prices, late delivery, and low-quality goods. Therefore, we need a GDSS that is capable of overcoming these problems. This GDSS helps in decision-making by determining the right supplier for each of the stores owned by the MDM Cooperative. The methods used are AHP, TOPSIS, and BORDA, involving six criteria and five tested alternatives. The AHP method is used to obtain the weight of each criterion taken from the pairwise comparison matrix. The TOPSIS method is used to determine which suppliers get priority for supply goods. Combining the AHP and TOPSIS methods can reduce the weaknesses of the TOPSIS itself by giving subjective weights. The use of the BORDA method can provide maximum results in selecting this supplier. This GDSS also involves three decision-making bodies: the head of the cooperative, the deputy, and the treasurer. The results of this prototype can show the best alternative selected based on the ranking method.

Abstract

Knowledge management is an organization of knowledge held by individuals within an organization. With knowledge management,an individual knowledge can be own by organization so it can give a benefit to organization in order to enhance business competitiveness.Management and documentation of the knowledge in order to become a reference for all the employee within the organization are need a development and implementation of appropriate knowledge management system. The implementation of knowledge management system must be supported by specific features to store and organize the existing knowledge.To overcome this problem, a knowledge management system was designed in the form of a web-based programming system using PHP programming languages ​​with GTFW and MySQL Framework. Knowledge management systems are equiped with data search facilities, documentation and records of problems, information and download features from each of available documents.

Abstract

Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan masalah yang hampir terjadi di seluruh Negara di dunia ini. Masalah ini perlu penanganan serius untuk mencegah terjadinya kerugian dan korban yang lebih banyak. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi fast help yang mampu mengirimkan titik lokasi terjadinya kecelakaan pada pihak rumah sakit terdekat sehingga pertolongan terhadap korban dapat segera diberikan. Aplikasi ini dibangun dari dua sisi yakni server berbasis web dan client berbasis android. Aplikasi ini sudah diujikan pada beberapa titik lokasi di Kota Padang Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

This study aimed to create an information system on UPT.PPKM Padang State Polytechnic where the system is initially UPT.PPKM are still using Microsoft Access to process data that existing research. So that would make it difficult for employees to process the data, find the data if necessary and to report the research itself. Abstract

Metode yang digunakan dalam pembangunan Sistem Informasi Akademik adalah metode Spiral. Metode ini sangat cocok diimplementasikan untuk pengembangan sistem yang menitikberatkan pada evaluasi dan analisa resiko.  Analisa resiko pada penelitian ini menggunakan model Kano. Abstract

SMS (Short Message Service) is a service to send a sort message that many used in telephone, but in service of a SMS provider have infrequent method to make data of it be more secure, this making service of SMS have so many security gap that making data possibly lost or will be a third person who can access data of SMS. Android is a lateset mobile operating system from Google, android make programmer possibly develop the application easly to use in smartphone and tablet. Cybercryp SMS is an application that designed for android system that will use to secure data that use service of SMS. RC6 algorithm for encryption and decryption will be use in service of sender and receiver message from Short Message Service, that will use a private key and symmetric password for make data will be more secure and security gab can be resolved.

Abstract

Balanced scorecard tata kelola teknologi informasi diperoleh dari penggabungan gambaran balanced scorecard teknologi informasi dan balanced scorecard bagi dewan perusahaan. Tantangannya adalah untuk membangun sebuah scorecard yang dapat menangkap kinerja proses TI pengelolaan bersama dengan perbedaan dengan IT BSC dan Board BSC. Perspektif kontribusi perusahaan pada konsep IT Governance BSC yang diajukan cocok dengan fungsi TI.Meningkatkan kinerja tata kelola TI adalah alasan utama untuk membangun dan menerapkan balanced scorecard tata kelola teknologi informasi. Harus jelas bahwa hanya mengukur saja tidaklah cukup; scorecard harus diimplementasikan sebagai sistem manajemen. Dengan balanced scorecard tata kelola TI, organisasi dapat memberdayakan dewan mereka, CEO, CIO, manajemen eksekutif,serta bisnis dan partisipan TI dengan memberikan mereka informasi yang diperlukan untuk bertindak dan mencapai perpaduan yang lebih baik antara bisnis dan TI dan pada akhirnya mencapai hasil yang lebih baik. Dalam hal ini, scorecard tata kelola TI dapat memainkan peran penting dalam keseluruhan program yang harus di tempat untuk meningkatkan tata kelola perusahaan.
