Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru mengatasi kesulitan dalam mencapai hasil yang maksimal pada saat proses mengajar secara online. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode pengembangan media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik Elektronika berbasis Video Animasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Uji validitas oleh ahli  materi yaitu dosen didapatkan  persentase skor  90% dan ahli materi yaitu guru didapatkaan persentase skor 92%. (2) Uji validitas oleh ahli media yaitu dosen diperoleh persentase skor 100% dan ahli media yaitu guru didapatkan persentase 91%. (3) Uji praktikalitas dari guru mata pelajaran I diperoleh persentase skor 86% dan guru mata pelajaran II diperoleh persentase skor 93%. Berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan guru mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik Elektronika dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi sangat layak untuk digunakan pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik Elektronika di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Media Pembelajaran, Video Animasi, Mata Pelajaran Dasar Listrik Elektronika The  study aims to help teacher overcome the difficulties of achieving maximum result during the online teaching process. Research methods use learning media Development methods on animation videos based electronic subjects. The result of this study are (1) The validity test by the material expert teacher got 90% score percentages and that the teacher’s content was 92%. (2)The validity test by media expert is that teacher get a 100% score percentages and a media expert who’s teacher get a percentage of 91%. (3) practical tests from teacher’s subject I obtained an 86% score percentage and a teacher subject II get a percentage of the score 93% by assesments by master of material, media expert and teacher from electronic electricity concluded that the study Based teaching media in perfectly feasible to use on the basic electronic subject in Vocational High School.Keywords : Development, Learning Media, Animation Videos, Basic Electrical Electronics Subject

Abstract

This research based by the weak received signal received by the Mobile Station (MS) caused loss propagation trajecktory  which allows the impending failure of calls and data connections. The purpose of this research is todiscover the impairment power received by MS. Monitored from the value of Rx Level and knowing the propagation model of Padang city urban areas in general.The method of measurement used is a Test Drive using TEMS Investigations software version 8.0. then analyzed with empirical models and models Okumura Hata, the results of the analysis compared with the standard value of Rx Level. This research was conducted in the morning and evening for five days.The analysis showed: (1) The signal quality measurements on base stations Terandam in average -81.6 dBm, and Hata model calculations on average -79.66 dBm, Okumura models average of -78.47 dBm, then the signal quality in good condition, BTS Simpang Haru is an average measurement of -82.7 dBm, and Hata model calculations on average -86.49 dBm, Okumura models average of -81.43 dBm, then the signal quality in good condition and the BTS Cendana Andalas in average measurement -80.03 dBm, and Hata model calculations on average -90.05 dBm, Okumura models average of -86.19 dBm, then the signal quality in a state of being. (2) Empirically propagation model for urban areas is a desert city in BTS Terandam Hata models, while BTS Simpang Haru and Sandalwood Andalas is a model Okumura. Abstract

The development of Internet use has spurred Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) technology so that it becomes a widely researched and applied device. With the need to use high WSNs, the quality of features provided such as high data transfer speeds and the smallest possible disruption is something that should be available. Although some uses of WSNs do not require high speed and have a tolerance for interference, there are very few types of use. Nevertheless, routing protocols are provided to meet the types of data transfer requirements. The protocols available for each type will be analyzed and compared to find out the best performance.Keywords: data transfer, routing protocol, WSN.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of a fiber optic communication system to link Batusanggkar – Lintau PT.Telkom. The tools used are the OTDR and optical power meter. Type of optical fiber used is an optical fiber with G.655. Core optical fiber studied as much as 8 cores. The average attenuation of each core generated based on the OTDR is 0.22139 dB/km, while the average attenuation measurements of each core based power meter that is 0.236075 dB/km. Average attenuation OTDR and power meter still below the values ​​calculated in reference to the ITU-T standard is 0.285448 dB/km. Results of power link budget calculations on each core with a cable length of 34,665 km with total average attenuation of each core 9.84019 dB and output power received is -8.51019 dBm receiver, then the value of the link power budget calculations compared with Rx transmitting device sensitivity (-27 dBm = 0.002 mW), where the value of the calculation is smaller than the Rx sensitivity. It can be concluded that the performance of an optical fiber communication system to link Batusanggkar - Lintau which has worked well and normal. While the rise time budget analysis results indicate that the value of the overall system rise time exceeds the maximum standard of 35% RZ bit period of 10 Gbps bit rate is 35 ps (53,689 ps> 35 ps). Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the feasibility of using canva learning media in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects in class X Cooling and Air Conditioning Engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman in the academic year 2018/2019. The research method used is the research development of the Instructional Development Institute. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Respondents in the questionnaire were experts, teachers, and students. In canva learning media, the validity, reliability and practicality of the media are tested. Based on the results of validation by experts and teachers, the average value of validation is 0.83 which is at the validity value of ≥0.667, so it is in the valid category. In the media reliability test, the Cronbach's Alpha value was 0.731, so the criteria for media reliability were in high criteria. In the practicality test of the media by teachers and students, the average values were 90% and 86% respectively, so the practicality category of the media was in the very practical category. Abstract

This research was motivated by a decline in performance on the BTS Batang Marau, which indicates the level of Rx Level, Rx Qual and SQI not meet KPI targets, so the presence of the area around the base stations that do not meet the standard Rx Level to make phone calls (blankspot). The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of GSM 900 and 1800 networks, as well as to improve the performance of base stations Batang Marau Power Link Budget calculation method. This study discusses the improving performance of GSM network at the site decreased performance, where performance is observed through measurement results based on the data drive test. The results of data analysis showed : (1) From the analysis, GSM 1800 already meet KPI targets for Rx Level >95 %, Rx Qual >94 % and SQI >93 %. In GSM 900 results analysis and Rx Qual SQI already meet the target KPI Rx Qual  >94 % and SQI >93 %, while the results of the analysis of Rx level at 09.00 already reached the target KPI >95 %, at 15:00 and 20:00, still has not reached the target KPI <95 %, which indicates the time of measurement using tools Tems Investigation, there are several areas that Rx the level of poor quality. (2) Value Rx level in the area around the base stations are <-95 dBm indicates blankspot area (can lead to a drop call). (3) The estimated increase in performance on the GSM network by the method of link power budget on the BTS Batang Marau  shows 69.3 dBm Rx Level (Good quality) at a distance of 2.5 km, so it can be concluded that the performance of GSM 900 base stations have been increased Batang Marau performances.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of the weakness of the received signal by service users (MS) caused by certain factors such as the geographical structure of a city, many buildings so that the path loss (Path Loss) resulted in data connection failure or call failure. This study serves to determine the comparison of Pathloss values in the Medium-Sized City and Large City Regions in Padang city with a 231-Hata cost propagation model. The measurement method used is the drive test using the Network cell Info LTE application and then analyzed with a model cost 231-Hata, the results of measurements with the RSRP standard research were carried out in the morning and evening for five days. The results showed: In Air Tawar BTS (Large City) by measurement and calculation of the Cost 231 Hata model, compared to the RSRP PT.XL Axiata Padang standard, the signal quality is medium category. While the Lubuk Buaya (Medium-Sized City) BTS is measured, and in the calculation of the Cost 231 Hata model. Compared to the RSRP PT.XL Axiata Padang standard, the signal quality is in Medium category. From the results of measurements and calculations there are differences in pathloss values that are not too significant. Abstract

The purpose of research to reveal how much contribution of infrastructure and learning motivation of students together or individually to the learning outcomes. The research population is 60 people and the sample is 38 students of class X and XI TAV in SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera. The sampling technique was done randomly (Simple Random Sampling). Data on student learning outcomes is obtained from basic teachers of electrical and electronics training. While the data facilities and learning motivation of students are collected through questionnaires distributed to students by using Likert scale that has been tested the validity and reliability. The result of data analysis shows that (1) the learning facilities and motivation of student learning together contribute significantly to the learning outcomes of students of class X and XI TAV SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera of 39.40%, (2) infrastructure facilities contribute significantly to the result of study of student of class X and XI TAV SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera equal to 25,97%, (3) student learning motivation contribute significantly to result of student learning class X and XI TAV SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera equal to 16,20%.Keywords: contribution of infrastructure, learning motivation, simple random sampling.

Abstract

Based on the survey data of optical fiber service, the communication network uses optical fiber transmission medium is not maximal yet, because there are some errors in the network, such as the percentage of Network Post Dialing Delay in system is 97.5%, that means there is 2.5% of error a delay occurs in the network when making a call. This research was conducted by analyzing the fiber attenuation of fiber-optic communication systems performance on the link Padang-Bukittinggi in PT. Telkom Padang, SKSO division which uses single mode fiber optic cable types G655. Instrument in this study is the Power Meter and OTDR JDSU MTS-6000 type. Link Power Budget method is used to determine the performance of optical fiber communication systems caused by attenuation based on the value of the received power output. Obtained results on the link Padang-Bukittinggi highest attenuation occurs in core 5 with 26.7226 dB attenuation value and cable length 115 016 km, and in core 7 with 26.1812 dB and cable length 94 462 km. This value is still below of PT. Telkom standard with 28.10352 dB for core 5. While the attenuation value at 7 cores exceeds standard attenuation values​​, with 24.18186 dB, so the performance of the core is declared bad and needs to be evaluated. From optical fiber attenuation value, result of the link power budget analysis is obtained from the calculation of the value of Rx is smaller when compared with -27 dBm the value of Rx sensitivity, it can be said the performance of optical fiber communication systems on the link in the normal state and can be used to operate because the power output can be accepted by the receiver in the device. Abstract

This research motivated by the influence kind of substrate to the dimensions of the antenna, gain and impedance, to get the design of antenna with the characteristic consistent with the standards and need of the designer takes the right material. This research to prove the effect of microstrip substrate. The substrate according to the design (features) and desirable for a rectangular microstrip antenna 2,4 GHz. Method used is analisis from the result of the simulation using CST studio suite, the process follow some steps: (1) study literature (2) determining the types antenna (3) determining the specifications of the microstrip antenna (2,4 GHz frequentz of resonance, return loss <-9,54 dB direction) (5) calculating the dimention of the antenna based on the theory (4) simulation using CST studio suite (5) analyzing the result of simulation. From the research can be concluded that there is a value £r of the gain the rectangular microstrip antenna where the larger value £r and the gain will be smaller. There is an influence in the value £r foward the bandwidth to the square antenna microstrip. Which is the more larger the value £r bandwidth make the value smaller. There is an influence in the value £r foward beamwidth to the square antenna mictrostrip, which is the more larger that value of £r, beamwidth will be larger. To design the antenna with high value more than 90° 5dB that is use for the value of £r between 1-3. To design the antenna with the beamwidth that value more than 0,03 GHz that use for the material with value of £r between 1-3.Keywords : kinds of substrate, gain, banwidth, beamwidth, antenna microstrip, CST studio suite
