Method: The method is Comparative Study with Cross Sectional Study Design with nursing students, nurses and Indonesian nurses working abroad as the populations. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with a total sample of 130 respondents. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire and Likert Scale, compiled based on the Health Belief Model Theory (HBM). The data were analyzed by the Paired Sample T-test to see the differences between nurses who had received OHN subject and those who had never. Result: The results show significant differences on level of understanding between nurses who have received subject material about OHN with those who have never had it, with a p-value of 0,000. Discussion: Significant productivity differences between nurses who have received lecture material about OHN and those who did not, which can be used as criticism or input for nursing education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS, 2020), the number of medium-large industries in 2019 in Indonesia 30,381. This number is followed by the growth in healthcare services, which is classified as the highest among 17 existing sectors (Databoks, 2020). Abstract

The teaching of occupational health nursing (OHN) requires an emphasis on which one should be dominant between technical and social domain, as practiced in the industrial health care services. The purpose of this research is determine which skill domain is more dominant between technical and social skills in the OHN teaching-learning system. This type of study is quantitative approach with cross-sectional study design. The populations were nursing students, nursing practitioners, and nursing lecturers. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling taken online with a sample size of 130 respondents of Indonesian nurses in Indonesia. The data collection tool used a mixed questionnaire in a Likert Scale based on the Health Belief Model theory. The data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test to see whether the results of this study were dominated by the technical or social skills domain. The validity and reliability test was carried out with a sample of 30 people. They were measured by looking at the r table and the Cronbach alpha value for each questionnaire statement, using the SPSS application with the Pearson Product Moment test. The T-Test result of SPSS shows 95 respondents (73.1%), perceived technical skills dominate the OHN work in industry, and 35 respondents (26.9%) in social skills, with a p-value of 0.000. In other words, the dominance of technical skills has a very close association to the teaching-learning system. The need for technical skills is much more dominant than social skills. OHN teaching needs to have an emphasis on technical skills, not the social domain.

Background: Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) patients deserve special attention due to metabolic changes in response to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) which affects their nutritional status. Assessment of nutritional status through screening carried out by Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) nurses is expected to be able to improve nutritional status and avoid complications of malnutrition. Purposes: This review and meta-analysis were carried out to determine whether there is a clinical advantage as the impact to do the nutritional screening to CAPD users. Method: The method used was critical document review of PRISMA Analysis as a systematic review through 103 document searches, identifying keywords, and reviewing articles from Google Scholar, Research Gate, and PubMed. Characteristics of the studies under the search were: nursing on CAPD users, CKD cases, nutrition assessment, roles of CAPD nurses, and nutritional screening methods. Result: Out of 103 records under the search protocol, records screened (n=64), Google Scholar: (n:36), Research Gate (n:12), PubMed (n:12), records removed (n=61), retrieved (n=41), assessed for eligibility (n-21) and records included in the study review (n=17). By using meta-analysis, 21 records were under Included of PRISMA and the studies demonstrate clinically and professionally beneficial. The study suggests Subjective Global Assessment (SGA) screening method for CAPD patients to be used by CAPD nurses.

Quantitative, comparative study with cross-sectional design. The population was high school students in 4 cities (Jayapura, Boven Diegol, Keerom, and Merauke). The sampling technique was non-probability sampling with a sample size of 230 respondents. The data collection tool used a questionnaire of Guttmann and Likert scale based on Bloom's Taxonomy Theory. Data were analyzed using the SPSS application (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Version 25 to see the differences between adolescents who understood drugs and those who did not. Low knowledge of adolescents about drug information has an effect on unfavorable attitudes by 54.6%. While the high knowledge of adolescents about drugs, the effect of a good attitude was 58.6%. Abstract

One of the phenomena of people living with HIV/AIDS in the rehabilitation phase in rural areas is that there is not enough space for them to get optimal rehabilitation services. The objective of this study was to provide a public health field practice framework for nursing students in the rehabilitation of people with HIV/AIDS. This research used a case study with a collective design. The primary data were taken from in-depth interviews of 3 informants. Secondary data was from reputable journals. Data processing was done by organizing, sorting, grouping, coding, marking, and categorizing based on specific groupings. The analysis used descriptive analysis. The study found three problems i.e. HIV/AIDS material is in the curriculum, public health field practice is held in semester 5, and no specific guidelines for public health practice programs on the rehabilitation of HIV/AIDS. This study recommended student interventions in the rehabilitation framework for people with HIV/AIDS referring to public health field practices based on the 2019 National Guidelines for HIV/AIDS Management.

Abstract

Heart attack cases among cardiovascular disease continue increasing every year and ranking as the highest cause of death in Indonesia. The objective of this research was to provide a framework for health promotion nurses to prevent heart attacks after cardiac catheterization. This research used a case study with the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) model. The case was selected from a patient with Coronary artery disease (CAD), 58 years old, retired of a civil servant, ex-chronic smoker, controlled hypertension, and a family history of CAD. The stages of CMSA data processing include Assessment, Preparation Pre-Catheterization, Recovery Phase, Planning and Intervention, and Evaluation. Objective data was taken from the physical examination results. Subjective data were obtained from interviews according to the CMSA standard, reputed journals, and other official documents. Analysis of the case study was conducted by coding, categorizing, comparing, and organizing. This case study revealed that health promotion nurses need to know the potential complications of post-heart catheterization i.e. shortness of breath, chest pain, lack of activity that is not known by family members, assumptions about uncontrolled nutrition, irregular medication, and heart attacks. The research recommended to prevent heart attacks post catheterization, health promotion nurses have to provide daily notes as patient progress reports and set a regular follow-ups.
