Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru Dalam Jabatan 2019 dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Masalah yang diberikan sebanyak 2 soal. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru Dalam Jabatan sebanyak sebanyak 31 orang adalah mahasiswa yang sudah berkerja sebagai guru sekolah dasar yang tersebar di Jawa Timur dan Madura. Kemampuan Numerasi adalah fokus kepada kemampuan siswa dalam menganalisa, memberikan alasan, dan menyampaikan ide secara efektif, merumuskan, memecahkan, dan menginterpretasi masalah-masalah matematika dalam berbagai bentuk dan situasi (PISA). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk soal 1, rata-rata kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa PPG SD pada indikator yang pertama sebesar 0,7, rata-rata kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa pada indikator kedua sebesar 1,3 dan nilai rata-rata kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa pada indikator ketiga sebesar 1,37. Untuk soal 2, rata-rata kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa PPG SD pada indikator yang pertama sebesar 0,4, rata-rata kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa pada indikator kedua sebesar 1 dan nilai rata-rata kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa pada indikator ketiga sebesar 0,9. Hasil dari analisa kedua soal, kemampuan terendah mahasiswa PPG SD daljab dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika adalah kemampuan dalam menggunakan simbol atau angka terkait matematika dalam menyelesaikan masalah sehari hari. Sebagian besar mahasiswa PPG SD banyak melakukan kesalahan dalam penulisan angka dan simbol dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika padahal maksud yang ingin mereka sampaikan sudah benar sehingga akan menimbulkan miskonsepsi bagi yang membaca hasil penyelesaian masalah mereka.. Abstract

Siswa yang memiliki minat belajar tinggi merupakan impian setiap pendidik, tetapi dalam proses belajar mengajar pendidik juga harus mampu memberikan pengajaran dengan baik dan menyenangkan, sehingga siswa tidak mengalami kebosanan. Para pendidik harus mempersiapkan dorongan ketika kegiatan belajar mengajar berlangsung, seperti penggunaan media visual. Artikel ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui meta-analisis pengaruh media visual terhadap minat belajar siswa SD pada pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian meta-analisis, kemudian pada teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumen tertulis dan populasi yang berasal dari buku, jurnal dan artikel. Kemudian sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling ditentukan sesuai pembahasan artikel ini, sebanyak 20 artikel. Selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan prosentase diagram, tabel dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa 1. Media proyeksi diam banyak digunakan dan berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar siswa pada pembelajar matematika, dengan prosentase sebesar 60%. 2. Subjek siswa SD banyak dijadikan penelitian, dengan 16 subjek siswa SD dalam 20 artikel. 3. Metode yang banyak digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jumlah 8 data kuantitatif. 4. Dan analisis data yang banyak digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan prosentase 40,0. 5. Hasil rata-rata sebelum diberikan media visual 59,34 dan meningkat 15,4 kemudian hasil akhir menjadi 74,7.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan permainan tradisional engkle menjadi media pembelajaran. Media yang dikembangkan diberi nama Malongka (mari lompat angka) operasi bilangan. Pengembangan media ini ditinjau dari segi proses, kualitas, dan efektivitas penggunaannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). langkah-langkah yang digunakan adalah model Sugiyono serta Borg dan Gall. Langkah-langkah tersebut dimodifikasi ke dalam enam langkah pengembangan, yaitu: mencari potensi dan masalah, menyusun perencanaan, membuat desain produk, melakukan validasi produk, revisi produk, dan uji coba produk. Uji coba produk dilakukan secara skala kecil kepada enam siswa kelas II SD Hidayatur Rohman Surabaya Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah. (1) media ini mempunyai aspek, antara lain: menarik, menyenangkan, dan menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa (2) Kualitas media Malongka Operasi Bilangan memiliki kualitas yang “sangat baik” dengan rata-rata skor 3,3. (3) Hasil tes siswa setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Malongka dalam menyelesaikan soal open ended terkait Operasi Bilangan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 128,2% serta siswa lebih aktif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kecemasan matematika pada mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode expose facto. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan mengacu pada standar deviasi dalam menentukan level kecemasan matematika. Hasil penelitian pada 146 mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa), diketahui sebanyak 32 mahasiswa (22%) berada pada level kecemasan matematika tingkat tinggi, dan 21 mahasiswa (14%) termasuk dalam kecemasan matematika tingkat rendah. Saran utama dari penelitian ini kepada peneliti selanjutnya adalah penting dirumuskan solusi atas permasalahan kecemasan matematika pada mahasiswa PGSD, mengingat mahasiswa PGSD adalah calon guru yang juga akan mengajarkan mata pelajaran matematika kepada murid-murid SD, sehingga harus terhindar dari masalah kecemasan matematika.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini dengan adanya permasalahan di SDN Kedungbateng Tanggulangin Sidoarjo yang mengalami pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap minat belajar matematika. Pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap minat belajar matematika di SDN Kedungbateng Tanggulangin Sidoarjo dikarenakan peserta didik sudah mulai bosan , sulit memahami pembelajaran matematika secara langsung dan ada beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi minat belajar matematika pada saat pembelajaran daring. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembebelajaran daring terhadap minat belajar matematika dan faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi minat belajar matematika. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek yang digunakan 123 peserta didik, pendidik, kepala sekolah di SDN Kedungbanteng Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner, dokumentasi, obeservasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan kuesioner menunjukkan dari 123 terdapat 38 peserta didik tergolong rendah karena ada beberapa peserta didik kurang tertarik dalam mengumpulkan tugas karena ketiduran dan menunggu orang tua. Peran orang tua salah faktor yang dapat mendukung minat belajar matematika. Hampir semua menunjukkan peserta didik dibantu orang tuanya dalam mengumpulkan tugas

Abstract

The purpose of this study are to describe the communication between teachers and parents in building the character of students at SDIT Ghilmani Ketintang Surabaya and to determine the impact of such communication. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, then data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data condensation, data display, and data verification which were validated by using the credibility test and the dependability test. The results of this study indicated that the picture of teacher and parent communication in building the character of students was as follows: 1) class groups created through social media such as whatsapp and so on, 2) communication through anecdot records or anecdotal notes used to record student behavior every day at school, the note was submitted to the parents of students when receiving report cards, 3) Communication through information books, and independent student communication, 4) home visit activities, namely teacher visited to student homes, to match the development of student behavior at school , 5) perenting activities, namely activities to bring in psychologists to provide direction to parents on how to properly educate children. The impacts of communication between teachers and parents were: 1) good cooperation between teachers and parents in building the character of students at home and at school, 2) there was a change in student character, because every day is monitored through information books, and independent student communication , 3) to increase parental knowledge on how to educate children well through parenting activities, 4) student achievement increased because all student activities were monitored through anecdote record . Recommendations from this study were 1) the results of this study can be used by schools, teachers, parents to carry out communication so as to improve the character of students at school and at home by intensifying their communication so that the character of students is built in accordance with the expectations and goals of teachers and parents, 2) other researchers can use as a reference for conducting similar research related to teacher and parent communication in building student character.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes in the concept of learning addition and subtraction in learning Mathematics, especially for grade 1 in Elementary School, is still not optimal. This is one of the contributing factors is the lack of mathematics learning materials developed by the teachers, and not many teachers involve students in the learning process so that students are less active in responding to the ongoing Mathematics learning. This study is intended to design learning media that can improve student learning outcomes in learning Mathematics through the development of interactive e-book media for the Dakon game. The formulation of this problem is how is the process of developing the Dakon Game Interactive E-Book Media to Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students and How is the feasibility of developing Dakon Game Interactive E-Book Media to Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students, this study uses the R&D development method only at level 1 with the stages of collecting potentials and problems, literature study and information gathering, product design, design validation, and tested design. With the results of the linguist validation test, the percentage of eligibility of 85% was declared very feasible to use, then the material validation test with a feasibility percentage of 83% was also declared very feasible to use, and the last one was the empirical scale test with a feasibility percentage of 86% indicating that the e-book media Dakon student interactive game is very feasible to use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make a Match learning model on learning outcomes of elementary school students. The method used in this research is meta-analysis method. This study is to determine whether the Make a Match learning model can improve student learning outcomes. In the next stage, collect relevant articles to collect data. The data was obtained from online journal searches through Google Scholar, where 10 articles were obtained. The keywords used are "Make a Match learning model" and "learning outcomes". Data were obtained and re-analyzed using quantitative methods. Based on the results of the analysis, there is an effect of the Make a Match learning model on student learning outcomes with an average after being given treatment that is 46.946 with an average before being given treatment that is 35.963. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Make a Match learning model on the increase in student learning outcomes, namely 10.983.

Abstract

This research is about the effect of teacher teaching style on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students of Khadijah Surabaya Elementary School. The purpose of this researh was to determine the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers, to determine the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students, and to determine the effect of the teacher's teaching style on the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students. The research method used was quantitative research, the type of correlational research. The total population in this study was 123 students with a total sample of 95 students. Data collection techniques used was a questionnaire with the number of questions 23 variable X questions and 15 valid variable Y questions with a reliable value of 0.893 (variable X) and 0.783 (variable Y). Data analysis techniques used was the Pearson product moment test. The results of this study indicated that: 1) the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers was classical 31.58%, technologically 38.95%, personalization 7.37%, and interactional 22.1%, 2) visual-spatial intelligence of 72 fourth grade students (75.8%) were in the high category, 22 students (23.2%) were in the medium category, and 1 student (1.1%) was in the low category, 3) The teaching style of the teacher had moderate influence on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students with a correlation coefficient of 0.521 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.01. This research hopes to shed some light for researchers, teachers, and schools to apply teaching styles that are in accordance with students' visual-spatial intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the cooperative learning model of the Student Team Achivment Division type in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students and to find out the difference in the increase in learning outcomes obtained by students when using the Cooperative learning model of the Student Team Achivment Division type. The difference in the improvement of learning outcomes obtained from 10 relevant journals was caused by the subjects selected by different researchers such as different research sites, different abilities possessed by each selected subject, and different years of research. This type of research is quantitative research using the meta-analysis method. The research begins with formulating research, looking for relevant journals available in electronic media. Based on the analysis of the cooperative learning model, the Student Team Achivment Division type can improve student learning outcomes by an average of 78.59 from the previous 53.53. Based on this research, the application of the cooperative learning model type Student Team Achivment Division can be used as a suggestion to be applied in elementary schools.
