Abstract

Prank atau candaan sudah menjadi semacam budaya di masyarakat modern. Sebuah budaya yang dianggap baik-baik saja bahkan menjadi entertaintmen (hiburan) yang dinikmati oleh semua kalangan usia. Bahkan masyarakat menjadikan prank sebagai bentuk keakraban dan sarana mencari popularitas melalui media sosial. Lantas bagaimana sesungguhnya dampak dari budaya prank ini dalam menggeser nilai-nilai keluhuran di masyarakat. Bagaimana pendidikan Islam memandang fenomena tersebut.       Penelitian ini mengungkap tentang fenomena prank di masyarakat kita, di luar negeri, di kalangan rumah tangga, di media sosial, di sekolah dan di ruang publik lainnya. Penelitian ini kemudian mengungkap jenis-jenis prank mulai dari yang aman sampai yang paling berbahaya bahkan merenggut nyawa. Mulai dari yang murah sampai menelan biaya mahal. Selanjutnya membahas tentang motif dari prank ini mulai dari sekedar iseng, hiburan, dendam maupun menteror.      Kemudian peneliti akan melihat prank dari sudut nilai akhlaq Islam. Bagaimana sesungguhnya candaan dari sudut pandang Islam. Penulis akan mengutip nash-nash hadits dan pendapat para ulama tentang hukum candaan dan dampaknya bagi moralitas masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the repetition and its effect in the muawwiżatain surah. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Qualitative research is one of the research procedures that analyzes descriptive data in the form of observed speech or writing. Descriptive method aims to describe and analyze data about the style of repetition in muawwiżatain. Repetition is a form of repetition, both in terms of sounds, syllables, words, or sentence parts that are considered important to put pressure in accordance with the expected context. This research confirms the existence of rhetorical language in the form of repetition that is contained and spread in muawiżatain surahs giving greater influence and effect in the hearts and minds of readers. In this study, found 7 (seven) types of repetition, each of which is alliteration, rhyme, asonance, epizueksis, epistrofa, simploke, and anaphora. This research confirms that repetition as a form of language style is very different from repetition as a form of weakness of writers or authors. In addition, repetition has an important role in optimizing the repetition function which incidentally helps in emphasizing the intent and giving certain effects.

Abstract

Tawasul dan Tabaruk merupakan tradisi yang sudah banyak dipraktekkan oleh masyarakat muslim pada saat berdoa di makam. Kedua tradisi ini juga sering disalahpahami sebagai praktek yang menjerumuskan kepada kemusyrikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap aspek living hadis pada tradisi tawasul dan tabaruk warga Desa Bonang di makam Sunan Bonang dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif induktif, dan menganalisisnya dengan teori tindakan sosial Max Weber. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan. Pertama, tradisi ini merupakan suatu living hadis. Kedua, berdasarkan tipe tindakan tradisional, para pelaku tradisi ingin terus menerus menghormati Sunan Bonang dengan cara melestarikan tradisi yang sudah dilakukan secara turun temurun. Ketiga, tindakan afektif, memperlihatkan bahwa para pelaku memiliki ikatan emosional dengan para tokoh agama dan waktu pelaksanaan (malam Jumat). Keempat, tindakan instrumental rasional, para pelaku secara sadar mampu melaksanakan tradisi tersebut, baik dari aspek sumber daya manusia maupun aspek finansial. Kelima, rasionalitas nilai, pelaku ingin meniru perilaku tokoh-tokoh agama dan membiasakan diri bersedekah sekaligus ingin menanamkan nilai solidaritas jamaah. [Living Hadith on Tawasul and Tabaruk Traditions in Sunan Bonang’s Tomb Lasem Rembang. Tawasul and tabaruk are traditions that have been widely practiced by Muslim communities when praying at the grave. These two traditions are also often misunderstood as practices that lead to idolatry. This study aims to reveal aspects of the living hadith in the tradition of tawasul and tabaruk of the people of Bonang Village in the Sunan Bonang tomb by using the inductive descriptive method, and by analyzing it through Max Weber's theory of social action. This study yielded several findings. First, this tradition is a living hadith. Second, based on the type of traditional action, traditional actors want to continue to respect Sunan Bonang by preserving traditions that have been carried out from generation to generation. Third, affective action shows that peoples have an emotional bond with religious leaders (ulama) and the time of implementation (Thursday night). Fourth, rational instrumental action, where the actors are consciously able to carry out the tradition, both from the human resource and financial aspects. Fifth, value rationality, the people want to imitate the behavior of religious figures and get used to giving alms at the same time wants to instill the value of solidarity among the jama'a.]

Abstract

The Muqaddaman Tradition in Banjaragung Village, Bangsri District, Jepara Regency: A Study of the Living Qur'anMuqaddaman is an activity of reading the Qur'an which is carried out collectively, in which each individual receives a division of juz from 1 to 30 which is divided randomly according to their respective rations. Muqaddaman is a tradition that has been widely practiced by the Muslim community. This study aims to reveal the aspects of the living Qur’an in the muqaddaman tradition in Banjaragung village through a descriptive-inductive method with Max Weber's theory of social action as the analytical tool. This study seeks to answer how Max Weber's point of view on social action towards the muqaddaman tradition is in Banjaragung village. The results of this study are: First, this tradition is a part of the study of the living Qur’an. Second, based on the type of traditional action, traditional actors want to carry out Islamic religious symbols as traditions that have been carried out by scholars from generation to generation. Third, affective action shows that the perpetrators of the action have an emotional bond with religious leaders and the time of execution (Thursday). Fourth, in term of rational instrumental action, the actors can carry out the tradition rationally and consciously, both from the financial aspect and human resources. Fifth, in term of value rationality, actors want to emulate the behaviour of religious figures, to get used to giving alms, and to instil the value of member solidarity

Abstract

This study aims to describe the repetition and its effects in "Maulid Simtud Durar" by Habib Ali bin Muhammad Husein Al-Habsyi. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Qualitative research is one of the research procedures that analyzes descriptive data in the form of observed speech or writing. Descriptive method is aimed at describing and analyzing data about repetition language style in the maulid simtud durar. Repetition is a form of repetition, both in terms of sounds, syllables, or sentence parts that are considered important to put pressure in accordance with the expected context. This research confirms the existence of rhetorical language in the form of repetition contained and scattered in the maulid simtud durar to convey meaning and abstract thought then conveyed concretely through reps to give greater influence and effect in the hearts and minds of readers. The results of this study found six types of repetition, each of which was Tikrar Lafdzi (epanalepsis), Tikrar Taukidi (Epizueksis), Tajanus Sawti (Asonance), Mawjah Basitah (Simploke), Jinas Tam (Paranomasia), and Jinas Ghairu Tam. This research explains the ability of repetitive language styles in the maulid simtud durar to describe abstract meaning and thought, especially the emphasis on magical things and something amazing, whic the meaning is transformed into a repetition, because something that is visible and concrete can strengthen meaning and can have an effect that bigger in heart and mind.

Abstract

The Islamic world, especially Indonesia, is increasingly experiencing moral and mental decline so that life is increasingly far from Islamic values. The emergence of extreme ideas and deviating from the truth also added to the atmosphere. It is wasaṭhiyyah, a moderate attitude in various aspects of life that is slowly being echoed by Muslim scholars in various parts of the world and is used as a powerful formula in dealing with the above problems. This research tries to discuss the concept of wasaṭhiyyah according to M. Quraish Shihab in Tafsir Al-Misbah. This research is classified as library research. The researcher used Hans-Georg Gadamer's hermeneutic analysis. With this analysis knife, the researcher found that the Tafsir Al-Misbah was written as a response to M. Quraish Shihab's response to the phenomena and conflicts that occurred at that time. The fusion between Shihab's understanding of wasaṭhiyyah with various horizons; text and society produces a concept of wasaṭhiyyah which is a fair, balanced and tolerant attitude in life, both in world and in the hereafter

Abstract

This study aims to describe the various kinds of language styles in surah al-Zalzalah. This research is classified as a qualitative research and it uses descriptive methods by describing as well as analyzing the data in surah al-Zalzalah. Meanwhile, it applied stylistic approach which aims to explore the characteristics of the text based on the language style used in surah al-Zalzalah. In addition, the stylistic approach is used to obtain hidden meanings in surah al-Zalzalah so that the minor and major themes of the surah are revealed. This research confirms the existence of rhetorical language in various forms of language style spread in surah al-Zalzalah which are able to have greater influence and effect on the hearts and minds of the readers. From this research, it is concluded that there are twelve language styles in surah al-Zalzalah that are grouped into three stylistic levels. Among those twelve styles, three language styles are at the phonological level (al-mustawā al-sawti), four language styles are at the syntactic level, and five language styles are at the imagery level (al-mustawā al-taṣwīri).

Abstract

Qasidah, salah satu karya sastra Arab yang tidak lepas dari perpaduan keindahan kata dan makna yang terkandung di dalamnya. Qasidah Burdah Karya Imam Al-Busiri menjadi objek material penelitian ini karena ragamnya keindahan syair dan bait yang disajikan. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada analisis ini adalah Jinas dalam ilmu balagah, hal ini karena Jinas salah satu teori untuk menganalisa keindahan kata dan makna yang terkandung dalam syair. Sedangkan metode analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi. Dalam kajian linguistik umum, Jinas dipadankan dengan istilah homonimi, homofon, dan homograf. Hasil analisis mengungkap keragaman Jinas pada Qasidah Burdah Karya Imam Al-Busiri berjumlah 172 jenis.Qasidah, one of Arabic literary works that cannot be separated from the combination of the beauty of words and meanings contained therein. Qasidah Burdah Imam Al-Busiri work becomes the object of this research material for manifold beauty of poems and couplets presented. The approach used in this analysis is Jinas in balagah science, this is because Jinas is one of the theories for analyzing the beauty of words and meanings contained in poetry. While the method of analysis in this study uses the content analysis method. In general linguistic studies, Jinas is paired with the terms homonymy, homophony, and homograph. The analysis revealed the diversity of Jinas in Imam Al-Busiri's Qasidah Burdah by 172 species.

Abstract

Analysis of the language and literature of the Qur'an is needed in studying the Qur'an, because language is an important point in understanding it. Therefore, this paper analyzes the word khauf in the Koran. This aims to emerge dynamic messages from the Qur'anic vocabulary contained in it. This paper uses a qualitative method with the semantic approach of Toshihiko Izutsu. This is done to reveal the views of the Qur'an regarding the key term khauf in interpretation according to the prevailing context. This paper concludes that the basic meaning of the word khauf is fear or worry, murder (war), knowledge, tanned skin. Meanwhile, the synchronic and diachronic meanings of the word khauf have not changed much. It's just that afraid in the diachronic meaning is more of an hereafter affairs namely the fear of Allah's punishment for breaking His commands. Keywords: Khauf, Al-Qur'an Semantics, Toshihiko Izutsu

Abstract

This study aims to examines the meaning of zawj in al-Qur'an. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive-analysis method.  The meaning of zawj in the Qur'an is very vareative. In the Koran with various derivations, the word zawj is 21 derivations contained in 72 verses of 43 surahs and is mentioned in 81 times. The researcher used the semantic analysis of al-Qur'an which was initiated by Toshihiko Izutsu who tried to address the world view of Qu'ran (weltanschauung) through semantic analysis of the vocabulary and key terms in the Qur’an. This research concludes that the basic meaning of the word zawj is something that is not singular or something that has an equivalent. Zawj can be interpreted as: a husband in the surah (al-Mujādalah [58]: 1;wife in the surah (al-Baqarah [2]: 35; a partner, namely Allah created all beings in pairs (az-Dzariyat [51]: 49;animals are male and female pairs (al-An'ām [6]: 143), plants (al-Syu'arā [367]: 7); and groups (al-Wāqi'ah [56]: 7. In the pre- Qur'anic, the word zawj is defined as a rug. In the Qur'anic period it is divided into two, namely Mecca and Medina. The Mecca period has a close meaning with the sign of the greatness of Allah and the pleasure that Allah gives. The Medina period contains the laws of separation. In the post-Qur'anic period, the word zawj describes gender equality, that men and women are the same components without being differentiated, so that there is a harmonious life in pairs.
