Abstract

Career planning maturity is a process where individuals are able to know and understand themselves well, have knowledge of the desired career world, and are able to integrate information themselves with existing jobs or further education. This study aims to describe the career planning maturity of MAN 1 Agam students in terms of: 1) Describing the maturity of the career planning of MAN students from all aspects 2) Describing the maturity of the career planning of MAN students based on aspects of knowledge and understanding of themselves. 3) Describe the maturity of MAN student career planning based on aspects of knowledge and understanding of work. 4) Describe the maturity of MAN student career planning based on the aspect of integrating self-information with existing jobs. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The samples of this research were students of MAN 1 Agam which consisted of class X to class XII. The research sample consisted of 173 students based on the proportional random sampling technique. The research was conducted by administering a questionnaire on the maturity of students' career planning. The data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The findings of this study describe the maturity results of the career planning of MAN 1 Agam students in the mature enough category.

Abstract

This type of research is descriptive correlational with a population of 489 students. Sampling of 240 students using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used is Stratified Random Sampling. The data collection instrument was a parenting style questionnaire using a Likert scale and a student moral behavior questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and to test the relationship the data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment formula with the Statical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20.0 program. The results of this study revealed that: (1) Parenting patterns are in the fairly good category, (2) the moral behavior of students is in the good category, (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between parenting patterns and students' moral behavior at MTsN 1 Padang. Pariaman with rtable of 0.138 and rcount of 0.564 with a significant level of 0.000. So the better the parenting style score, the better the students' moral behavior. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that BK teachers or counselors can provide assistance in the form of Guidance and Counseling services

Abstract

Learning is process of effort by someone to get a new level of behavior change as a whole, as a result of their own friendship with the environment. Students will obtai their outcome of their studied where students must go trough the learning process their follows. Learning outcomes is a effect they get after applying their lessons, each learning process is usually measured by the success of learning outcomes. The success of a student in participating in learning can be seen from the learning outcomes obtained.besides the factors that cause aperson to be successful in learning is to have emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence will able to train and manage feeling in motivating themself, the ability to control impulse for a moment, empathize, the ability to be strong in dealing with frustration, working with others, and the mood. This study aims to determine the relation of emotional intelligence with student learning outcomes in SMP N 13 Padang.This research includes quantitative research with cholerational approach. The population of this  study is the student of class VIII and X SMP N 13 Padang which amounts to 529 people. The sampling done by technique  proportional random sampling. The sample from this study amounted 233 people. This research was conducted by administering the research questionnaire instrument. Data analysis with correlational statistical techniques.Research findings show 1) In general students have emotional intelligence in recognizing their emotions are in the medium category 2)  In general students have emotional intelligence in the aspect of managing emotions in the medium category 3) In general students have emotional intelligence in the aspect of recognizing self motivation are in the medium category 4) In general students have emotional intelligence in terms of recognizing the emotions of others in the medium category 5) In general students have emotional intelligence in aspects of a good relationship with others in the medium category 6) In general students have learning outcomes in the low category. Based on the research findings it can be concluded that the students of SMP N 13 Padang are in the medium category in an emotional relationship with learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of housewives who work to earn extra income for the family, the recognition of others and their assessment of the dual role they lead in living life. This study aims to describe the determinants of life satisfaction of working housewives in terms of: (1) life opportunities, (2) the process of life events (3) the flow of experience, and (4) the process of evaluating life. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research . With a sample of working housewives who reside in the Housing of Koto Baru, Kec. Kubung, Kab. Solok as many as 179 people were selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire determining the satisfaction of the lives of working housewives. Data were processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the study revealed that: (1) the determinants of life satisfaction of housewives who work from the aspect of life opportunities are in the quite satisfied category (33.52%) (2) the aspects of the life process process are at the moderately satisfied category (35.20%) (3) in the aspect of experience flow are in the quite satisfied category with 24.25%, and (4) and the aspect of the life evaluation process is in the quite satisfied category (37.43%).

Abstract

Independence is an attitude that is owned by someone to do everything themselves (independent), able to make their own decisions and account for their decisions in this case a person has freedom in acting and making decisions, as well as in terms of career planning. Students are able to be independent in career planning. But the reality found there are still some students who do not know the direction of their careers, go along with choosing a career as chosen by their peers, and do not understand their potential to choose a future career. This study aims describe the independence of behavior, and independence of assessment. This type of research is a type of descriptive research. The research population is  students of class XII of six public vocational in padang who were enrolled in the 2019/2020 academic year, amounting to 441 people. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique to obtain a total sample of 202 people. The study was conducted by administering the questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed by percentage analysis. The research findings show the results: the independence of students in overall career planning is in the quite independent category, the independenceof students in career planning viewed from emotional independence is in the categoryof quite independent, the independence of students in career planning seen from the independence behavior is in the category of sufficient independence, and the independence of students in career planning seen from  the independence of assessment is in the category of quite independent.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the truism of students who are truant in terms of the adjustment of students with peers, and adjustment of the teacher in learning. The method in this research is quantitative descriptive with 36 research subjects who play truant in SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The instrument used is a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The findings of the study show (1) the adjustment of students who play truant in terms of the adjustment of students to peers at school is generally classified as low (50%), (2) the adjustment of students who play truant in terms of students' adaptation to teachers in learning in general is very low (83.3%), (3) overall in the low category (83.3%). The results of this study can be used as a reference in making programs for counseling teachers or counselors so that students' adaptation can be developed positively.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is a means of education to prepare students to be ready to enter the world of work. Students must have good career maturity, their career choices should be mature, in the sense that in adolescence the individual is able to plan, think about, and choose a career for himself by making an effort to identify himself, find out about work and educational steps and overcome problems related to career selection. This research is motivated by the existence of several students who have not been able to plan their future careers and there are some students who have the belief that success is determined by luck, opportunity and fate. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the self-concept, (2) to describe the direction of student career maturity in school and (3) to examine the relationship between self-concept and the direction of student career maturity at State Vocational High School 6 Padang. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational description method, with a sample of 187 students of SMK Negeri 6 Padang, using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire distributed through the Google Froms application. Based on the Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment correlation techniques with the help of the SPSS program. The results revealed that: (1) Self-concept was in the medium category with a frequency of 51.34%, (2) the direction of career maturity of students at school tended to be in the fairly mature category with a frequency of 47.59%, and (3) There was a significant positive relationship between self-concept. with the direction of student career maturity with a correlation coefficient of 0.967 and a significance level of 0.000. Based on these findings, it is hoped that the counselor will always improve and develop guidance and counseling services, especially career guidance services to help students improve their career maturity.

Abstract

The relationship of peer social interaction in school occurs when teaching and learning activities in the classroom and outside the classroom have an important role in fostering learning motivation that can increase the activity and effectiveness of student learning. This study aims to: (1) describe the social interaction of student peers, (2) describe student learning motivation, (3) test the significance of the relationship between peer social interactions with student learning motivation. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach. The population of this study were students of SMA Negeri 3 Padang Panjang which numbered 881 students. The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling, so that a sample of 275 students was obtained. The instruments used were peer social interaction questionnaires and learning motivation questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson product moment technique using the SPSS version 20.0 program. The results of the study describe: (1) peer social interaction is in a good category with an average achievement of 57.09%, (2) learning motivation is in the high category with an average achievement of 66.18%, and (3) there is a relationship significant between peer interactions with learning motivation with the acquisition of 0.478 at a moderate level with a significance level of 0,000. The magnitude of the correlation is 0.478, meaning that if the social interaction of peers is good, then the students' motivation also tends to be high. Conversely, if peer social interactions are not good then learning motivation tends to be low.

Abstract

Psychodrama is a form of human development by exploring, through dramatic action, problems, issues, ideas, dreams and the highest ideals of people, groups, systems and organizations. This approach is often used as a group model approach in guidance and counseling, where everyone in the group can be an agent in alleviation (therapeutic agent) between each other in the group. Psychodrama groups and self-help groups are designed with structure and dynamics. Various general factors in the implementation of the drama are the model factors or techniques used in the psychodrama counseling process, the client's expectations and expectations, the therapeutic relationship factor, and the client's extra therapy factor. A calm understanding of these factors will be a means of information for counselors in developing counseling skills, especially in building relationships with counseling using the psychodrama model

Abstract

Online games is one of the internet-connected games that are in demand starting from children, online games user should be able to think precisely and logically and must be able to place and accept the functions of online gaming facilities. This 1) describe online gaming addication which is seen from the quality of compulsive or encouragement to do continuously 2) describe online games addication as seen from the quality of withdrawal 3) describe online games addication as seen from tolerace quality 4) describe onlien games addication as seen from the quality of interpersonal and health problem.The population of this study was students of SMAN One Batang Kapas 442. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling so that a sample of 81 students was obtained. The instrument used is an online games addication 1) cmpulsive or encouragement in the high category whith an average achievement of 70,4% whith a total of 57 people 2)whitdrawal is in the high category whith an average achievement of43,2% whith a total of 35 peopel 3)tolerance is at high category with an average achievement of 59,3% with 48 students 4)interpersonal relation an health problems are in the high category with an average achievement of 93,8% with a total of 76 tudents.
