Abstract

Stres adalah suatu tekanan apabila dibiarkan akan menjadi sebuah penyakit yang dapat menghambat aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Stres merupakan suata hal biasa yang sering dialami oleh seseorang. Akan tetapi stres juga akan menjadi sesuatu hal yang berbahaya apabila seseorang  tersebut  tidak bisa mengelolanya. Untuk itu tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk memanajemen stres melalui pendektan cognitive behavior therapy dalam konseling kelompok. Untuk membahas tujuan tersebut maka dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif naratif dari studi kepustakaan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini ialah terdapat pelatihan khusus dalam manajemen stres dengan pendektan cognitive behavior therapi yaitu pelatihan inokulasi stres dengan menggunakan tiga Teknik yaitu (1) memunculkan pikiran, perasaan, dan interpretasi klien terhadap peristiwa; (2) mengumpulkan bukti dengan klien untuk mendukung atau menyangkal interpretasi ini; dan (3)   merancang  pekerjaan  rumah untuk menguji validitas interpretasi dan mengumpulkan lebih banyak data untuk diskusi. ABSTRACT Stress is a pressure if left unchecked will become a disease that can hinder the activities of daily life. Stress is a common thing that is often experienced by a person. But stress will also be something that is dangerous if someone can't manage it. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to manage stress through a cognitive behavior therapy approach in group counseling. To discuss these objectives, this research uses a descriptive narrative approach from the study of literature. The results of this study are that there is special training in stress management with a cognitive behavior therapy approach,namely stress inoculation training using three techniques, namely (1) eliciting thoughts, feelings, and client interpretations of events; (2) gather evidence with the client to support or refute this interpretation; and (3) designing homework to test the validity of interpretations and collect more data for discussion.

Abstract

Kecemasan merupakan masalah yang umum yang kerap dirasakan oleh manusia. Kecemasan pada siswa kerap terjadi karena beberapa faktor dan ketakutan yang dialaminya. Salah satu kecemasan siswa yang kerap terjadi ialah kecemasan menghadai ujian hingga mengakibatkan nilai yang tidak diingin kan bahkan sampai menimbulkan penyakit sepeti lambung dan lain sebagainya. Kecemasan siswa tersebut juga akan merusak tujuan dari pembelajaran, sehingga perlu diberikan tindakan yang sesuai untuk menurunkan tingkan kecemasan tersebut. Konseling kelompok realita merupakan metode yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada klien pemasyarakatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas dari konseling kelompok realita untuk menurunkan kecemasan pada siswa . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa upaya pemeberian layanan konseling kelompok dengan pendekatan realitas dapat menurunkan tingkat kecemasan siswa. Abstract        Anxiety is a common problem that is often felt by humans. Anxiety in students often occurs due to several factors and the fears they experience. One of the students' anxiety that often occurs is the anxiety of facing exams which results in unwanted grades and even causes diseases such as stomach ulcers and so on. The student's anxiety will also damage the purpose of learning, so it is necessary to take appropriate action to reduce the level of anxiety. Reality group counseling is a method that can be used to reduce anxiety levels in correctional clients. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of reality group counseling to reduce anxiety in students. The results of the analysis show that the effort to provide group counseling services with a reality approach can reduce students' anxiety levels.

Abstract

The life of the Indonesian people is a very complex life with various social problems that hit several communities. The existence of various social problems faced by the community makes them live an abnormal or inappropriate life such as the low economy in meeting the needs of life. Social problems are some conditions that arise from a society that cannot function properly, resulting in disappointment and suffering. In this case, those who often experience social problems are usually women, one of the people with social welfare problems, namely Commercial Sex Workers. Someone who works and acts in the field of prostitution is better known as a commercial sex worker. The practice of prostitution by sex workers causes several psychological impacts that refer to negative self-concepts, such as feeling of having low self-esteem in the eyes of the community, being inferior in front of many people, limiting themselves in community interactions, feeling depressed, relationship gaps with other family members. Based on the results of the study, there were 8 PSKs whose self-concept level was in the medium category with a percentage of 38.1%, then 10 PSKs whose self-concept level was in the low category, namely 47.6%. 2 PSKs whose self-concept level was in the very low category, namely 9.5%. So it can be concluded that the average self-concept of CSWs before being given treatment was in the medium and low categories. The research method used by the researcher is the experimental research method. The type of experimental research used by the researcher is a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). Quasi-experimental is a quasi-experiment that aims to predict the conditions that can be achieved through actual experiments, but there is no control and manipulation of all relevant variables. Abstract

Students in learning activities show low self-control behaviors, namely during ongoing learning activities students often carry out activities that are not related to the learning process. Efforts can be made to improve students' self control by carrying out information services with problem based learning model . The research methodology used is quantitative, this type of research is Quasi Experiment with the design of The Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were class VIII 3 students as an experimental group and class VIII 8 students as a control group at SMP Negeri 13 Padang. The research instrument used was a Likert model scale. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Independent Sample test. The results showed that the information service with problem based learning model was effective to improve students' self control.

Abstract

The expression is derived from the Minangkabau and Batak Toba cultures. This study aims to describe the self-disclosure of high school students in terms of Minangkabau and Batak Toba culture. The sample used in this study were 329 high school students consisting of 165 students with a Minangkabau cultural background and 164 students with a Toba Batak culture background. This research uses Proportional Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a system Self Disclosure Skala with a reliability of 0.91029. The data analysis used in this research is ANOVA (Analysis Of Variants). there is no difference in the self-disclosure of students with Minangkabau cultural backgrounds between men and women. There is no difference in the self-disclosure of students with Batak cultural backgrounds between boys and girls.There are differences in the self-disclosure of students with Minangkabau and Batak cultural backgrounds in terms of male gender. There are differences in students' self-disclosure with Minangkabau and Batak cultural backgrounds which are reviewed based on the gender of the women.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) learning achievement, emotional intelligence and social support of parents, (2) the contribution of emotional intelligence and social support both individually and collectively to student achievement behavior. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The study population was 436 students of SMK Country 3 Padang. The research sample was 209 students who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The instrument uses a scale of emotional intelligence, and social support from parents and the results of the students' mid-semester value recap. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simple regression, multiple regression. The results of the study proved that: (1) emotional intelligence contributed 31.5% to student achievement, (2) parents' social support contributed 27.6% to student achievement, (3) emotional intelligence, shared parent social support contributed on student achievement as much as 33.4%. The implication of the results of this study can be used as input for making guidance and counseling service programs in improving student learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the identity of high school students based on four levels of status (identity diffusion, identity foreclosure, identity moratorium, and identity achievement). Self-identity is very important because the task of development at that time is to adapt to changes that exist in oneself. Teens who experience an identity crisis show that they are trying to find their identity. Therefore, adolescents need help to improve their identity. This study aims to describe the identity of students. The sample in this study consisted of 240 high school students who were selected by proportional random sampling. The instrument used was a self-identity scale. The instrument used has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis in this study used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The results showed that identity diffusion was in the high category 33.85 (81 students), identity foreclosure was in the high category 10.8% (26 students), identity moratorium was in the high category 46.2% (111 students), and identity achievement was at high category 9.3% (22 students). The implication of this research is the counselor's basis for improving the self-identity of students in schools

Abstract

The lack of students' self-control led to the emergence of pornography. The phenomenon of pornography is a general term that refers to sexually explicit material that may be softcore or hardcore and can also be referred to as things that attempt to stimulate and increase sex drive with text and images. Self-control is the ability to organize, guide, regulate, and direct forms of behavior that can lead to positive consequences. The purpose of this study was to describe students' self-control at SMA N 1 Merbau. This research uses descriptive analysis. The research sample consisted of 128 students who were taken using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was "Self-control scale in preventing pornography" with a reliability value of (0.888). The results showed that: most of the students as many as (65.6%) of the students had "moderate" self-control in the prevention of pornography, then a small proportion of students (2.3%) of students had "low self-control". "In the prevention of pornography. Furthermore, as many as (5.5%) students had “very high” self-control in preventing pornography and as many as (26.6%) students had “high” self-control in preventing pornography. The results of the study generally showed that students' self-control was in the medium category with a percentage of 65.6% and it needed to be improved in order to prevent pornography. The results of this research can be used as a basis for counseling teachers in providing guidance and counseling services to prevent student pornographic behavior in schools.

Abstract

Self-identity has an important role in student development. Failure to cultivate this quality leads to deviant behavior such as pornography. The purpose of this study was to describe the identity of students with regard to pornography. The research methods used were quantitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The population sample included 106 public vocational students in the city of Padang selected by the proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument with a Likert model scale. The results showed the identity of students have a 7% contribution in identity diffusion conditions, 32% identity foreclosure conditions, 48% moratorium conditions, and 13% achievement conditions. The findings of this study might be used by counselors to help students in forming their own identities especially in the face of pornography.

Abstract

Cyber-bullying is a massive phenomenon happened to students. Student cyber-bullying must be prevented because it can give a negative physical and psychological impact on the offender, audience and victim. One way that can be done to prevent student cyber-bullying is to provide an information service by using a scientific approach. The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of an information service by using a scientific approach to prevent student cyber-bullying. The research method used was a quantitative research with the true experiment design pretest-posttest group design. The research sample consisted of 30 students for the experimental group and 30 students for the control group taken by using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using the descriptive statistical analysis and non-parameteric statistics using the Kolmogorov Smirnov 2 Independent Sample analysis technique. The results of this research prove that the information service by using a scientific approach is effective in preventing student cyber-bullying.
