Abstract

 Abstract: Field Work Practices is practical learning activities to apply, stabilize, and improve the competence of students. These students need teaching materials by utilizing of E-Module with kvisoft flipbook maker application. The development functions for innovation is essential in increasing the readiness of Field Work Practices so that students could carry out Field Work Practices following with the needs of the Construction Services Industry. The development began with the data collection stage followed by product design, design validation, product revision, testing the product, and finishing the product. The results of material expert validation for learning design aspects was 92.19%, 87.5% for learning elements, and learning strategy aspects was 84.38%. The score of media experts for software engineering aspects was 89.58%, and visual communication aspects were 87.5%. The average response score of respondents for elements of the use of teaching materials were 86.04%, parts of the usefulness of teaching materials were 85.94%, and the conformity aspects of teaching materials 84.18%. Overall, the e-module teaching materials for Field Work Practices were good, exciting and very feasible to use as learning teaching materials. Besides, it can improve students' readiness in preparing Field Work Practices

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penilaian pada kompe-tensi inti kurikulum 2013 Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan penilaian (1) Kompetensi Inti-1 sebesar 87,50% terlaksana baik, penilaian paling ba-nyak menggunakan teknik observasi, dan paling sedikit menggunakan teknik jurnal; (2) Kompetensi Inti-2 sebesar 83,33% terlaksana baik, penilaian terbanyak menggu-nakan teknik observasi, dan paling sedikit menggunakan teknik penilaian antar peser-ta didik; (3) Kompetensi Inti-3 sebesar 91,67% terlaksana baik, penilaian terbanyak menggunakan teknik tes tulis, dan paling sedikit menggunakan teknik penilaian se-cara lisan; (4) Kompetensi Inti-4 sebesar 79,17% terlaksana baik, penilaian terbanyak menggunakan teknik tes praktik, dan paling sedikit menggunakan teknik portofolio.

Abstract

Inkuiri terbimbing merupakan pembelajaran inkuiri yang melibatkan peserta didik dalam mengumpulkan dan mengolah data, memahami makna kesimpulan, dan membuat penjelasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk  (1) mengetahui keterlaksanaan  proses  pembelajaran  inkuiri terbimbing, (2) mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik melalui penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. Penelitian ini menerapkan Posttest-only Control Group Quasy Experimental Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 2 di SMA Negeri 2 Batu. Kelas XI MIA 1 berlaku sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori dan kelas XI MIA 2 berlaku sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah instrumen perlakuan dan instrumen pengukuran. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran larutan penyangga yang menerapkan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik (rerata keterlaksanaan = 95,35%). Keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yang menerapkan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing menunjukkan kategori sangat baik (94,70%) dengan rincian (1) keterampilan memprediksi 87,92%, (2) keterampilan mengobservasi 99,17%, (3) keterampilan mengklasifikasikan 93,75%, (4) keterampilan mengukur 95,42%, (5) keterampilan menganalisis 94,00%, (6) keterampilan mengkomunikasikan 95,00%, dan (7) keterampilan menyimpulkan 97,67%. Skor rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif larutan penyangga kelas eksperimen adalah 75,20 yang lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol yang skor rata-ratanya adalah 69,13.

Abstract

Metabolit sekunder yang memiliki aktivitas antibakteri telah diisolasi dari ekstrak metanol biji alpukat       (Parsea americana Mill). Proses isolasi diawali dengan ekstraksi menggunakan metanol, dilanjutkan dengan fraksinasi dan pemisahan menggunakan berbagai teknik kromatografi seperti kromatografi cair vakum (KCV) dan kromatografi kolom gravitasi (KKG). Dari proses isolasi tersebut diperoleh komponen K-1 yang berwujud padat dan berwarna putih. Komponen K-1 mempunyai titik lebur 67-70˚C, larut dalam kloroform, etil asetat, dan etanol. Komponen K-1 mempunyai λmaks pada 219,0 nm mengindikasikan adanya transisi π→π* dan 344,0 nm mengindikasikan adanya transisi nπ*. Berdasarkan hasil interpretasi spektrum IR, komponen ini mengandung gugus -OH, gugus -C=O ester, ikatan -CH, dan ikatan C=C. Komponen K-1 diduga golongan saponin. Uji aktivitas antibakteri terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli dan Staphylococcus aureus mengindikasikan ekstrak metanol biji alpukat dan komponen K-1 aktif sebagai antibakteri, sehingga kedepannya memiliki prospek bagi pengembangan obat tradisional. An antibacterial activity of secondary metabolite has been isolated from methanol extract of avocado seed (Parsea americana Mill). The isolation process has started with extracting using methanol, then fractioning and purifying by chromatography technique such as vacuum liquid chromatography and gravitation column chromatography. The white solid of K-1 component has been isolated from this process. The melting point of K-1 component was 67-70˚C and dissolved in chloroform, ethyl acetate, and ethanol. K-1 component has λmaks at 219,0 nm (π→π* transition) and 344,0 nm (n→π* transition). Based on IR spectrum interpretation, this component contained –OH group, -C=O group of ester, -CH bond, and C=C bond. K-1 component was predicted as saponin group. The antibacterial activity assay against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus indicated that methanol extract of avocado seed and K-1 component showed antibacterial activity toward both bacteria, so that this component has future chances for traditional medicine development.

Abstract

A research to determine the solar activity in the months from January to March 2015, and analyze the characteristics of flare on the rotation angle shifting of the sunspot group of sunspot sample observed, has been conducted. The method was observation and descriptive analysis of quantitative data. Determination of coordinates of sunspot was done using the software IDL. These observations were made in the Aerospace Observation Center (BPD) LAPAN Watukosek. Data were analyzed in the form of a sketch-owned BPD Sunspot LAPAN Watukosek, ie sunspot sketch of months from January to March in 2015 and the data was taken from NOAA. The results showed that the flare is not always the case in large class of sunspot groups, however, the small class was able to produce a flare. Most flares ware occur after experiencing a shift angle in the preceding or following although with angles that were not too large (<10°). The highest solar activity was occurred in January 2015 with the appearance of a sunspot group consisting of as many as 130 in 1063 sunspots. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um024v1i12016p019

Abstract

When a marketer involves Experiential Marketing as a marketing approach to a product or service being sold (Andreani 2007: 7), will affect the increase brand awareness, brand equity, and customer loyalty. Use of experiential marketing to create brand loyal customers to the brand. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the experiential marketing (on sense, feel, think, act and relate) on Yamaha motorcycles affect customer loyalty, partially, simultaneously and know subdominant variable in influencing customer loyalty. Type of this research is quantitative research. The population is Yamaha motorcycle customers in the Yamaha Riders Federation Indonesia (YRFI) community of Malang. Simple random sampling technique be appointed 86 respondents, Test the validity and reliability to know the validity and reliability of the instrument. Data analysis using descriptive analysis technique, a test of classical assumption for multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study found a positive and significant influence partially between (1) sense, (2) feel, (3) think, (4) act lifestyle (5) Relation to customer loyalty. Also found simultaneous influence between experiential marketing on customer loyalty. The dominant variable is the sub variable of feel.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find the impact of teachers' training, areas of expertise, and education type on the achievement of multiple-choice HOTS questions. The design of this research was experimental. The independent variable was training provision, the moderator variables were teachers' areas of expertise and education level, and the dependent variable was the achievement of multiple-choice HOTS questions. The subjects in this research were 28 teachers of SMKN 2 Turen, consisting of teachers in productive and non-productive areas of expertise. The data collection used documentation and assignments. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics with a paired t-test and factorial f-test. The significance level in this research was p = 0.05. Results showed that (1) training provision significantly improved teacher's skill in making multiple-choice HOTS questions, (2) improvement tendency of productive teachers after training compared to non-productive teachers, albeit insignificant, and (3) improvement tendency shown by teachers from the non-teaching institutions after training compared to teachers from teaching institution, although also insignificant

Abstract

Abstrak:tujuan penelitian ini adalah: mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara mahasiswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah berbasis mobile learning dibandingkan mahasiswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ekpsperimen. Kelompok sampel yang mengalami perlakukan disebut disebut kelompok eksperimen, sedang kelompok sampel yang tidak mengalami perlakuan disebut kelompok kontrol. Untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan digunakan teknik uji t test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disipulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar disebabkan oleh pembelajaran dengan mengunakan metode pemecahan masalah berbasis mobile learning dengan kelompok yang diajar menggunakan metode pembelajaran pemecahan masalah tanpa mobile learning. Pada sisi lain ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelompok mahasiswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dengan kelompok mahasiswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi rendah.Kata-kata kunci: Pemecahan Masalah, Mobile Learning, Hasil BelajarAbstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in learning outcomes between students who study using a mobile learning-based problem-solving learning model compared to students who study using conventional learning models. This research is an experimental research. The sample group that underwent treatment was called the experimental group, while the sample group that did not experience treatment was called the control group. To test the proposed hypothesis, the t test technique was used. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is no difference in learning outcomes caused by learning using mobile learning-based problem-solving methods with groups taught using problem-solving learning methods without mobile learning. On the other hand, there are significant differences in learning outcomes between groups of students who have high achievement motivation and groups of students who have low achievement motivation.Keywords: Problem Solving, Mobile Learning, Learning Outcomes
